Family vacation in top location! The high-quality furnished vacation home is located directly at the pretty cutter harbor of Fedderwardersiel. The small fishing village is in the immediate vicinity of Burhave. Even today, traditional cutters sail from here to catch crabs out on the North Sea. When they return to the harbor after a successful catch, you can buy the fresh crabs directly from the cutter. Regularly there are trips with the MS "WEGA II" from Fedderwardersiel to one of the biggest seal banks on the coast. The life of the seals is observed from the ship - a great experience for big and small guests.
Another amenity is the availability of a wallbox for electric cars at the vacation home.
However, please note that you will need to bring your own charging cable with you

Activities in the area: when the weather is nice, a trip to the North Sea lagoon in Burhave is a great option. But even at lower temperatures there are many options for leisure activities: explore the numerous cycling and walking trails or visit the popular play barn in Burhave with your little ones.

We were from 16.7.2011 1 week in the crab fisherman's house, it was a very nice and relaxing holiday, the house is well furnished and everything you need is there, only the garden furniture is very weathered and partly broken, the chairs almost fell apart, after we had informed the administration after 3 days, we were even greeted by the NICE !!! mr accused

Have spent very nice vacation days so far. The house has kept what it promised in the catalogue. the on-site service by the agency Schröder is the finest, small things are fixed immediately the house is beautifully situated behind the dike. since we like to hike, it is ideal here, there are beautiful hiking trails.

We were from 08/12/2023 to 08/26/2023 in Feddarwardersiel in the Krabbenfischerhaus. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your vacation. We actually missed a grill (we couldn't find it). The house is located directly behind the dike at the port of Feddarwardersiel, from which you can also take boat trips. However, the Wattenmeer is not really suitable for swimming. But there is a kind of swimming pool (max. 5 minutes by car) - the lagoon, which is suitable for young and old. At the harbor there is a kind of mom and pop shop where you can get fresh rolls. You can even order them via WhatsApp. You can get to Bremerhaven via the Blexen ferry terminal (approx. 10 minutes crossing / to Blexen approx. 15-20 minutes by car). Unfortunately, there is also something to complain about: the basement is damp (partly wet), which you can sometimes smell in the house - it is an old house that was once used by shrimp fishermen.
