A fantastic little spot! We loved the ambiance of the house and the surrounding area, The hiking trails right outside were a bonus, and we even managed to explore some of the local sights like Regensburg, Would love to return in the future!

Hospitable welcome. Great view over the fields. Mostly smaller places in the immediate area. Go to the glass factory store. The trails were not very well indicated. A number of times went wrong.

Had a great week, a nice walk and very warm welcome. Regensburg is a beautiful city to bezoeken.Uitzicht from the balcony is beautiful. The only disadvantage is the messy garden.

The house is very well equipped, the kitchen has everything you need and more. The area is very green. There are good and inexpensive restaurants in the area. During our stay it was very hot weather above 36 degrees so we have not made many trips. It took us a total very much. The landlord was very nice.

Glass Street visited porceleinstraat visited beautiful jewelry purchased in Neustadt ad W.Uitstapjes made to the Czech Republic, gorgeous omgeving.Met the train to Munich, long drive, but worth waard.Genoten the view and the peace on the balcony / terrace.

Spacious home that truly German calling at both inside and outside. You can make beautiful trips to places like Regensburg, Weiden, and Amberg. Certainly Regensburg is a must. A visit to the former concentration camp Flossenbürg is also recommended (half hour drive). Tracks generally run on paved wegen.Jammer only that the property is next to it completely decayed and calling at a little desolate. In the village itself there are several bakeries and butchers and there is a Spar supermarket. But really for the groceries you need to Vohenstrauss (Edeka, Aldi and Norma), so "n 15 miles away.

Tännesberg lies approx. 80 km. north-east of Regensburg, and only 25 km. from the Czech border. The village lies on an altitude of 800 m. centred in the Oberpfälzerwald. A marvellous region with many biking- and walking possibilities. A visit to the Czech republic with its beautiful town Prague must not be missed. Also visiting Regensburg is worth your while.
