Nice welcome by the owner. The house is cozy furnished, because the kitchen is not adjacent to the living room, you also make more use of the kitchen seat while cooking. There is everything in the kitchen, we always take our (wok) pan and cutting boards. And I have done well this time too. The beds are fine. The garden was completely scrambled and we found it safe to let our two dogs loose. Tip for the evenings, take a flashlight. You do not see the eyes in the dark. There are plenty of walking possibilities and beautiful views to the Swiss Alps are fantastic. The road to St. Blasien after 1 km left parking trail nature lehrpfad. Sufficient maps and walking routes in the house.

We have been received very nice and uncomplicated. The accommodation is very lovingly decorated and everything was very clean. The environment is rural village exactly what we were looking for. We made many walks directly from there, but these were individually planned tours. The advertised on the Internet "larger" trails are accessible by car.

Comfortable vacation of two weeks at the Altes Forsthaus. The house is in a nice area with plenty of opportunities for lovely walks. We had the cottage for 2 people. At first it looked good, but when we went to look better and light did, we saw a lot of dust and cobwebs along the walls, on the ceiling and behind the furniture. Also, the carpet in the bedroom at a hefty clean-up or renewal. Tip for the owner. Clean screens on the windows. The house is located almost in the woods where many suffer from moths, mosquitoes and other winged pests. Also, you keep hearing with the spiders out. Now we had to with the vacuum going to get .Further a fine house which is very peaceful area. Away all webs etc.

The Altes Forsthaus is an ideal base for walkers because the environment has - certainly welcome - a lot to offer. It is important to look like a place to come, to plan, to read an exciting book to explore via eg day trips ..... the area because .... the rest is your walks to rest your stay NOTHING to do and you need at least 6 km away Sankt Blasien to go shopping or to taste. the local delicacies Stocking your stock before you decide to install the message.

It's a very nice house. Very spacious and in order. We felt it was just unfortunate that one full deck lay in the sun and you could not protect. The other terrace was in the garden. A nice place, but the furniture were not really clean. About the interior of the house is nothing to say. Since everything was in order.

I think we've really been lucky with the weather. Bert and I have been swimming in the small lake, along with our dog, Bea. Walked a lot, nice routes, especially the panoramic route. Nice location, nice home, easy to maintain. The Kitchen is fine! I (cook), everything was well prepared with local products. Such as trout, entrcote, asparagus, strawberries (fun to prepare together) and many forest strawberries can eat. During our walks, Hostess and Host are eaten prima.Heerlijk ice at Claudio Sankt Bastien. Not only wood but also beautiful meadows and wetlands. Highly recommended!

The cottage (there are two!) Is located in a very small village, where unfortunately no tavern or restaurant or cafe is located. If you want to eat you have to + / - 6 km drive to the nearest town, but there you will find also two supermarkets. Everything is perfectly equipped to cook! Yourself! The owners live upstairs, but let you enjoy your vacation completely private. Privacy prevails. Very good beds, and a large kitchen / dining room. The seats in the room were a little less given the (very) low railings.

Despite the first 3 days much rain we still had a wonderful week. Nice trips in the region and also made hefty snow squalls. All in all a nice relaxing week in the beautiful Black Forest Sud.
