We were received very well by a very helpful and friendly host. The exact location of the bungalow is a bit difficult to find, so we were neatly guided to the door. Inside we received a tour and an explanation of the operation of equipment, all very clear. The environment is great. The bungalow has a huge garden that is fully enclosed with high fencing. Ideal for guests with dogs, like us. Located in the middle of the forest and a few hundred meters walk from Connecterra entrance.

The cottage is clean and the surrounding area is beautiful. We and the dogs enjoyed the fully enclosed garden. The surrounding area is not so cozy much industry. But for rest you are definitely here.

We spent a midweek in the house and enjoyed it immensely. The cottage was great! Much better than the photos show. Clean and tidy. The garden that comes with it is large and well fenced, so we could let our dog (Cane Corso) roam in the garden itself. The cottage is located in Hoge Kempen National Park , really beautiful! You walk directly into the forest and the routes are well marked. For our dog it was really great fun, there is a nice loose area. There are many beautiful areas in the area such as Terhill and Mechelse Heide and Maasmechelen The village is close by. The kitchen is great for cooking yourself. No wifi was nice and range with the mobile phone was minimal, you literally go back to nature. If you want range, you only have to walk outside. The path to the house seems like a thing with a lot of rain, but we have not experienced that with a week of beautiful weer.Enjoy to the top.Really recommended!

We really enjoyed this very quiet stay in this very cozy house where everything was present, what a person needs.de dogs have been able to enjoy themselves here in the very large fenced spruce garden, once you open the small gate, you can endless walks, with very beautiful views, which always give you a different panorama. Unfortunately, the weather was not good and we spent a lot of hours in the house, luckily we were able to make it cozy warm by the stove that heated the house very quickly What a rest, wake up in the morning by the chirping of the birds. Moreover, we are not only satisfied with the region and the house, but also Sjaak, who welcomed us in a warm manner, informed us very quickly when we and the whole neighborhood were suddenly without electricity, he also offered to bring candles luckily this was only for a short time, but it was great of Sjaak that he wanted to make the effort. Everything is present in the cottage and super nice bbq outside! We had a great stay. Nice to walk from the cottage you can leave. The garden was well closed for our dogs!

We had a lovely quiet week. Very nice cozy house with a beautiful enclosed forest garden. Our 3 dogs were able to roam freely. The garden bordered on a national park so we could walk a lot. On arrival we were warmly welcomed by the owner.

Very friendly and helpful reception. Everything is there to make your stay pleasant and smooth. Well fenced yard for our German Shepherd. Many opportunities to do walks. Enjoy the peace and quiet. And if you want a bit of hustle and bustle, there are plenty of options in the area. Everything great. Attention for people with walking difficulties: it is hilly and not suitable for wheelchairs.

We very much enjoyed a midweek holiday together with our dog. He could walk around there because the garden was well closed. The cottage was cozy and from the dining area you had a beautiful view of the woods around the house. Enjoy the peace and the beautiful surroundings. At a 15 minute walk you can eat in De Berg. The cottage is small but offers the necessary comfort.Een recommended for nature lovers and hikers. There are plenty of walks in the area and from the house you are 750 meters from one of the gates to Connactera.

Two hours before we left, the owner informed us that he would not be present on arrival; but that he could be reached. After some searching we found the house. The stove was burning and it was pleasantly warm and clean. We knew there was no wifi, but watching TV was not really an option; only the first night we could watch TV; the following evenings we either had 10 minutes of TV or nothing. Fortunately, we were very lucky with the weather and were able to make beautiful bike rides on the Maas valley and Park Hoge Kempen and walk in the area from our house. For those who plan to take this holiday home, I would recommend bringing a good book or some games, as well as some spices such as salt and pepper etc., as there is none.

For the first time in 14 years I went on vacation. So it was a trial with my boyfriend and our German shepherd and Dutch Shepherd. We are not the easiest dogs and have therefore opted for a secluded cottage with fenced yard. On arrival I was very surprised that there were around more houses (which were not occupied happy next to us, otherwise we had a problem). Few times had that dog almost jumped over the fence, very sorry that there is not a higher fence is that I could sit quietly. The dogs have had the time of their life and we Flashy too. No coming back because of the low fence so. Furthermore, the house okay, just the bed was not. We found too hard and too small for him (both normal stature). However, each evening a BBQ and nice to sit by the fire.

House and enclosed garden were fine. Large walking area with marked routes. Dogs must be on a leash. With steep parts. Few fireworks, only a few bangs audible in the distance. Gas heater works fine. Floor remains very cold. Unfortunately, I didn't bring slippers with thick soles. Frying pans and kitchen utensils partly need to be replaced and expanded. Brought my own air fryer.
Nice owner was helpful in finding the house. Google Maps sent us to 14 instead of 22. The forest road to it was very muddy with puddles due to the heavy rain in front.

Shower is dirty and smells musty! Toilet and sink very shabby and it smells musty.Interieur is very outdated and the sofa is not a meter. The kitchen has the minimum of glasses and pots / pans (were dirty and greasy on arrival). No cutting board and colander present. The terrace is uneven and therefore not possible to sit properly at the outdoor table. If this is already addressed and there are more luxurious standing chairs with cushions, that is already a big plus. Now there are plastic bucket seats .... nice to have a drink at a cafe but not to sit on it for a longer period of time. Closet space to store your clothes is hardly there so you live out of your bag / suitcase ... ..No, our impression is not good .... what we do find very attractive is the fireplace with stove. A plus is that it is quiet and you can walk from the cottage. 4 G sometimes works and sometimes not. TV was doing well.

We know that we need not look for the luxury chalet Richard. We go there for peace and conviviality. Yet we find that the owners eg something more would be allowed to invest in their chalet. no plug in the sink, faint or broken lamps in the lighting (we ourselves go and buy a LED lamp to have more light), continues as in last year broken bottles holder door refrigerator. These are not luxuries, but basic which should be present. For the rest, we again have a very nice and calm green holiday behind us. The location of the chalet was lovely and in the area is enough to find ways to relax. I was looking for a quiet place in nature for me even with my two dogs to pull back and it showed this cottage perfect for. The forest garden is fully enclosed so that I could let my dogs play freely with confidence. Note that if you have a large (r) high dog that can jump over the fence on the side of the forest can be a little on the low side, because in principle they can jump over. But they have not done mine. Also beware of the large fallen conifer, for it is to easy climb dogs but once it can no longer turn and he intended to as "n 6 meters high. Dangerously so. The kitchen was clean and the stove was good to use . However, it would be nice if there was like a piece of soap or something located in the kitchen or in the bathroom. There was, except detergent, nowhere present in the house cleaner.
