We were warmly welcomed by the owner in a beautiful and very complete apartment (upstairs, max. 6 persons). Beautiful view, quietly situated with a very large (shared) garden. There is also a lot to do in the area. Good tips from the very helpful owner about this received. In short, an apartment to definitely visit again.

A top apartment in a prime location. Rest, space and privacy in abundance and yet close to everything. A spacious and very cozy apartment, spacious kitchen and good bathroom made our holiday a highlight. Thanks to Sara for the very good care!

We were very pleasantly received by the owner. She showed us around and showed us everything. Even the beds were made, there was toilet paper, coffee and even dishwasher tablets. Maybe small things, but very pleasant. The apartment is super, nice and spacious and fully equipped. Not sat outside on the terrace or in the garden due to the changing weather.

It concerns (like almost all houses in this street) a newly built house in a small hamlet. Please note that all houses in this dead end street have house number 8 - with the route planner you have to pay attention to the lettering. A restful view of the valley towards Achouffe, walking possibilities directly from house or Houffalize. That's where you go to the Ardennes. We have rented this apartment as a group of friends on a 5-minute drive from Houffalize. The first floor is used for this purpose. The ground floor is used by the manager or landlord. We do not know if noise is heard downward, in any case, we have no trouble. The Weber gas barbecue works fantastic and certainly with the butcher's meat from Houffalize is the use of a party. For Ardean terms, the decor is remarkably modern, the beds are excellent. The choice of Ikea device makes it vulnerable in use. Usage tips (1) Please bring your own towels. We use the towels we use at home as a polish. (2) Cutlery is well stocked, take a good bread and meat knife. (3) A lot of herbs and spices have been left in many houses. That is not the case here, so bring yourself,

Friendly welcome. Explained how the equipment in the house works, beds that are well laid out. It is a beautiful area where there is a lot to do. In front of the apartment, a beautiful walking trail of about 10 km, 3 hours, is a must. Hiking map for this is in the apartment. For other activities, you will soon have to go by car. Furthermore, the upper door woman suffered from the drainage of water, which makes us so. There was a sewer truck three times in front of the house, which had a load of 1 time (Water came out of the ceiling on the balcony and the water came out of the toilet). We assume that this is not a normal course of action. The upper door woman apologized for this.

Reception was very good, we were welcomed by the manager and everything was neatly explained and questions were answered neatly. The house looked neat and complete, beds were tidy and an extra bed was added upon request. The view from the balcony is amazing and the surroundings were very nice walking was possible but climbing in some places but that's the Ardennes. Around the house there are not many activities but nearby. Houffalize is a nice town / village with nice restaurants that La Rallye is really recommended. This is a Belgian Brasserie with a Dutch touch and open to other restaurants every day and the food is really good. Shops are recommended to go to the ALDI (24 km away just across the border of Luxembourg), it's a big deal, there is a nice shopping center, Knauf. In our week there were nice conversations with an owner and she also has Tips and ideas given to the area.Leuke trips are oa Caves of Han, Wildpark in Rochefort (about 1 hour drive) - Caves of Hotton (about 40 mins drive) - City of Vianden and visit to the castle of Vianden (about 1 Hour drive) - Walk through Houffalize, follow the half-timber tiles and have a nice walk. All in all, a good and well-kept stay and definitely recommended to book, this is definitely in our memory and who knows in the future again An option for us.
