Beautiful base on top of the mountain in the middle of nature. Authentic stay with necessary basic comfort. Wonderful experience to cook on the wood stove. Warm welcome. The owners are always ready to give tips and practical information. Extras (wine, olive oil, honey, ...) available on site. Wifi connection not always reliable. Swimming pool is not yet in use in May.

Environment was magnificent. You sit on top of the mountain with a view over the entire valley of the Arno, including 4 villages. The house is at an altitude of 650m, which ensures the necessary cooling in warm weather. In colder weather it can get cooler towards the evening. The climb takes about 10 minutes by car and ensures that everything is a bit far. The house is basic. "Ã la ferme". So certainly not a luxury, but everything is there and works. Old-fashioned in terms of interior. Swimming pool is relatively small, but due to the limited number of guests it is certainly large enough to cool down and allow children to play. It is 1.70 m deep over the entire surface. Plenty of sun loungers and shade at the pool. Very well and correctly received by the host. He speaks Italian and French. Also some English. He has given us a lot of information about the region and the local products that can also be bought on the spot. Every gite has its own limited private garden. You actually only come into contact with the other guests at the pool or to the extent that you want it yourself. You have enough privacy in your own gite.

Beautiful location in the mountains and easy to reach. Be careful, do not use the navigation at the end but the description of Belvilla. Very nice and helpful owner who is happy to tell you about the history of the building (s). We also enjoyed the wine and oil that were for sale, and the tour of the old cellar. Everything is old and not really comfortable, but works. But you get used to it very quickly, except for the seating comfort, the low doors and the shower (in the bath with little space). All together had a great holiday.

It was a short search at the end, but easily accessible. The accommodation was spacious. It looked a bit old-fashioned, but that also had its charm. The view over the valley is magnificent.

Very friendly, personal welcome by the landlord. The apartment is kept simple and very rustic. Furthermore, the experience factor is very high, we had geckos, small scorpions and hard to believe a wolf in 20 meters distance.

Immediately after arrival, a tour was given by the owner. Beautiful old farm! Very friendly welcome. Owner gives a lot of tips on the surroundings. Delicious tomatoes, cucumber from their own garden. He regularly brought fresh fruit. From the house a beautiful view towards the villages in the valley.

After a great climb up we arrived full of olive trees on a beautiful estate. If you want to Tuscany you can find him here. The owner Vanni is a wonderful man who told lovingly about his farm and environment. Truly a must!

We had a fantastic holiday at the Belvedere estate. Closer to the Tuscan country life you can not come. The owner (Vanni) and gardener (Riccardo) are very welcoming and let you share in the daily activities at Belvedere. Practical tips and tourist information on cities and region are regularly shared. The place has a fantastic view over the valley of the Arno and the Chianti wine region and is a good base for trips to Florence, Sienna or Arrezzo. Each apartment has its own private garden with views. The pool is lovely. Really enjoy.

We spent a week in the resort Belvedere. It is located high above the Arno valley next to the forest and has a nice pool. From there, excursions leave to Arezzo, the Chianti companies and comfortably by train to Florence.

The road to the authentic 14th century house is an exciting tocht.Het house is decorated with furniture that fit the house, but to modern times (dishwasher) is also expected. Vanni is a hospitable landlord, who arranged fruit, vegetables and tips will bring / come up. Just a pity that the Wifi / internet did not meet our requirements.

A fantastic view from the apartment. The owner Vanni happy to give a tour and talks proudly about the history of its buildings and furniture. Every morning he brought us fruit and vegetables from his own garden. People who truly seek peace should wait a few years with books, the grandchildren of Vanni are old enough and probably produce less noise. We have not disturbed us, but I can imagine that this is different if you are looking for real peace. The road to the apartment is paved, but not suitable for people with vertigo. Tuscany is beautiful and from the apartment we visited many cities. From the apartment you at least two hours on the road before you can visit. Tourist places Figline a large supermarket Coop. On Saturday incredibly busy. Open even on Sundays.

Lovely house, distinctive decor, great location in appearance, very rustic lots of flora and fauna including hops (bird) boars and pheasants, pleasant welcome by hostess and owner. From this location are all kinds of cultural excursions to do Florence, Cortona, Siena, Montepulciano, Arezzo and San Sepolcro. Well within a radius of 50 km We have seen many were even Hadrian's Villa in Tivoli (or itsy below). It was therefore pleasing to investigate or settle in the serene atmosphere in and around the house Bellevue Acacie. In short, we enjoyed this holiday and the house in the hamlet perched Pulliciano (end of the road), overlooking the valley of the Arno.

We stayed in 'Sud', part of the original house, which dates back to the 13th century. From our windows and the terrace outside our house, there are the most amazing views across the Arno valley, although the drive up the winding road from Castelfranco is not for the faint-hearted. Inside, the rooms are full of old furniture, fittings and pictures, so if you want a taste of the old Italy, this place is for you. The house is at the end of a road (last bit dirt), so there is no passing traffic. The daily sound of the bee-eaters flying over, or the gentle buzz of the humming-bird hawk moths (day & night) are the only sounds to disturb. There is a small swimming pool which is great for cooling off in during the heat of the day it also has fantastic views across the valley. The host is very welcoming and will give you a tour of the ancient house at the drop of a hat. If you want to get to any of the city attractions (Florence, Siena etc.) they all involve a drive of an hour or more. There are several interesting villages and small towns much closer, especially if you are interested in churches and their associated art. This venue is definitely for people who want to 'get away from it all.'

Very warm welcome, Rita is fantastic. Because the house is situated on a hill, it "s very quiet. Also it is less hot. Belvedere is an ideal place to visit Tuscany Siena, Florence, Arrezo, San Gimignano. You can buy wine, very fine olive oil and honey. And let 's not forget the "vin santo"! The Sud apartment is spacious and basic. For us (parents and 4 children) it was very good. After all, we spent all day outdoors. There you have a nice view over the valley. Nice pool. Tip visit Florence by train. There is an in Figline railway station, 20 minutes from Belvedere. We did that and were absolutely happy 30 minutes in the train, a ten minutes walk and you "re standing in front of the Duomo!

The house was decorated Tuscan. Atmospheric. Unfortunately, the mattresses were hard so we have not slept so well. Beautiful views over the valley and nice garden. Pool was small but clean and the kids have wonderfully entertained. Florence was easy to reach by train. From Figline Large supermarkets (Coop and Lidl) in Figline. R nThe road to Belvedere is narrow and up. Last part was kind of gravel.

Farmhouse
If you’re seeking peace, nature, and authentic Tuscan charm, this is your ideal escape. Nestled at 600 meters above sea level on the slopes of Pratomagno, this rustic home lies between the Arno Valley and Casentino, just 30 km from Florence and Arezzo, and 40 km from Siena. Surrounded by scenic landscapes, it’s perfect for walking, cycling, and exploring the medieval villages and castles of the Chianti region.
The house enjoys a stunning view of the valley and the pool, and is just a 5-minute drive from Castelfranco di Sopra. It sits on a historic farm estate with five additional buildings and 5 hectares of gardens, vineyards, and olive trees. The farm produces its own organic wine, olive oil, vin santo, vinegar, honey, and jam, with fresh vegetables from the garden available. Belvedere has been a center for agriculture since the 13th century.
The home’s rustic interior exudes a warm Tuscan atmosphere, with interconnecting rooms and charming small stairways. The living room and kitchen both open onto a garden with outdoor furniture, perfect for relaxing in the countryside. Ideal for 4 adults and 1 child, the property also offers an electric vehicle charging station. Contact the host an hour before arrival for directions.
