We were warmly welcomed by the owner and our beds were even made, what a luxury! The cottage was fully equipped and the kitchen was very well equipped. We enjoyed the beautiful weather on the two terraces.

Communication with Mr. Hofmann was very good, he also knows many tips for a relaxed holiday experience on Ameland. The accommodation has met our expectations, the pictures speak the same language as the impression on the spot. Very clean accommodation, of course, after registration with dog no problem.

Warmly received by the owner. What a charming cottage. Cozy with a nice full kitchen. We sat outside and enjoy the sunshine on the terrace of the wind through the windshield. Slept, good beds. All facilities in order. The cottage is centrally located between the beach and the center of Nes.

The Skries cottage is comfortable and fully equipped. The kitchen equipment is very complete. If you do not want to cook for yourself, there are several Takeaway and Delivery restaurants in Nes in Corona time. Sandman is a must, within walking distance down the road. We were 2 people and it was a pleasant experience. With 4 people it should also be doable, but 6 people seems too much to us. On the terrace a kind of special "chickens" scratch around. What kind of chickens I am not saying, that must remain a surprise. For the other birds, please bring bird food with you.After corona time we will gladly come back here!

On arrival there was no personal contact with owner, the ferry had 2 hours delay! Well, tel.contact, Miss had to go back to Friesland and left the key in the lock for us. The house was a lot of space inside and outside. From all the conveniences The surroundings were fantastic in a word! So highly recommended!

On arrival Mvr Hofman was there and we were warmly received.De accommodation was good en compleet.De area was very quiet and within walking distance the coziness of village Nes, easy to rent a bike and beautiful for cycling through dunes and polderlandsschap. Successful.

Owner was waiting for us. Very friendly lady, explained everything. The cottage was clean, everything was thought of soap on the toilet to the service good. What was wonderful was that the beds were made, then your vacation really starts. The only downside was that the bedrooms were very small, we were six adults. Living room and kitchen were fine. The terrace was lovely you could sit out of the wind, and in the morning and in the afternoon you had sun. Surroundings were beautiful close to the sea and the mudflats. And many bike paths that we have used full-pump. And ten minutes walk from Nes. In short, had a great holiday. Even though the bedrooms were small we would like to come back again.Annemieke

In itself fine house. Well dated. Layout very impractical. You can't watch TV if you sit on the couch. It's in a corner at the back. There are 6!!! Old rattan chairs. If the were replaced by 2 armchairs, TV on the wall above the fireplace and a corner sofa, it is much more pleasant. There are 4 sets in the cupboard. This means no room for groceries. Nice shower, beds, kitchen and garden. Location is nice. Walking distance Nes and beach

Warm welcome. Beds already made. House was not completely clean, but we were able to get into the house earlier, so that went up. Location is good relative center and the beach. Wonderful terraces and garden with lots of privacy. Bedrooms small but with 4 people we could use the 3rd bedroom for the clothes / bags. All in all a wonderful house.

We had to start three days of rain, then the weather was better ,, with sunshine, so that we could put us on the beach. If you like riding, riding a bicycle, jogging or likes to rest, is right on Ameland. The width of the beaches is great. For each there is enough space vorhanden.SP

The house is located Skries wonderful, especially when you have bikes here. It was a pleasure to cook in the fully refurbished, well-equipped kitchen. The shower room and separate toilet were also renovated. Because of the moderately sunny Easter weather, we have used the two little terraces, but in summer are certainly wonderful! The only drawback of the house: the big kids for very narrow and short beds and all rooms very little storage space. However, we would always rent the house again!

We had a very nice stay in holiday Skries. The house was simple, but practical and cozy furnishings. The bathroom and toilet were in excellent condition. The cottage offers plenty of privacy and tranquility, but in the immediate area offers plenty of entertainment as the lively village and the beach and zee.Wij come back here for sure!

The house is located in a dune area, between the town of Nes and the beach. In the area you can take beautiful walks in the woods or in the dunes. The North Sea beach is 1 km away. You can also go horseback riding, take a scenic flight over Ameland or visit a nature museum. For the children there is a playground nearby.
The holiday home has a private garden with a spacious terrace, where you can relax in the open air. The living room has a double sofa bed and the kitchen has a dishwasher. There is WiFi in the house and a maximum of 2 pets are allowed. The entrance to the house is reached via a ramp.
2 cars can park at the house. It is not possible to charge your electric car in the house.
