We had a great stay in a very well-maintained cottage in Alkmaar. The host was extremely friendly. He welcomed us with open arms. We received a lot of information; it was just like having a guide for the city. It was fantastic!

Nice old house with good facilities in a central location. Yes cares great on arrival and on departure to the guests. To the North Sea ists also not far.Gegen street noise should be insensitive, a very busy and very noisy street leads directly in front of the bedroom.

A spacious home with a charming atmosphere! We particularly appreciated the rooftop terrace, where we spent many evenings enjoying the sunset, The proximity to the train station made day trips to Amsterdam a breeze, Would definitely recommend!

Very nice landlord. Typical Dutch house with steep staircase and 2 terraces on the canal. Modern decor, however with some minor flaws. Because of the central location is in a few minutes in the center. Egmond aan zee is only 10 km away. Overall ok, but nothing noise-like.

Very warm and timely reception by Mr. Jan Wokke. House is centrally located - ideal. Features practical and complete. Terrace and balcony could be improved (garden furniture \/ flooring). Good tips for trips and sightseeing by Mr Wokke proposed, who was also at all times.

Reception was very friendly and welcoming. The house is nicely decorated and has a good and a short distance to Old Town and train station. Alkmaar and the surrounding area has much to offer. The terraces are sunny and beautiful on the canal. The only downside is the busy and therefore annoyingly loud street on side of the parents bedroom.

We spent a weekend with 5 adults here. The house is not really suitable for this. Bathroom is only accessible through the master bedroom. Mattresses from the beds very hard. Location on the edge of the city center on a busy road which is very noisy.

We had a great holiday in Alkmaar. It is very beautiful with lots to do and convenient for the beach and Amsterdam. The house was in a brilliant location and very comfortable and clean, with everything we needed. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend this holiday, in fact we'd love to go again!

The house is beautifully situated directly in Alkmaar on the canals. In the city center is only a few minutes walk. The main street in front of the house is very heavily traveled and therefore the leaking windows, the noise level is quite high.

"T Singeltje is a perfect house for spending a cozy (girlfriends) weekend. It is within walking distance of town and the house lacks nothing! John and Esther are also very helpful and welcoming, great fun. Overall, great weekend!

everything you need is available. It is a house that lived. but that also makes it very homely. The beds were fine. House is indeed on a busy road. so for small children less suitable. For young adults, adults an excellent location to noor Holland unsafe and explore the polder.

What a (sunny) top weekend we have had in Alkmaar! "T Singeltje is really a must, it has something authentic with a terrace on the water and it's so close to town. We all slept very well. All the amenities we needed were present.
