What a wonderful immersion of the holiday feeling is the Biotoop! An incredibly warm welcome in advance with a thoughtful hostess who already called before our arrival to be able to take care of down to the last detail. The house has wonderful facilities such as the luxurious bathroom, fireplace and the atmosphere is top notch. The cottage is nicely styled with plants, baskets, hanging chair etc, and that on the couch with the stove on makes you feel in a real relaxed holiday atmosphere. For our youngest a cot with sheet and baby bath was provided, super nice! And for the 2 year old there was plenty of toys, a nice bedroom and a nice children's crockery, games, books, everything has been thought of! And facilities such as being able to use a washing machine and dryer are a super nice extra addition to the holiday. The beach is within walking distance, off the street and over the dunes, but with the small kids we moved to the beach at beach bar Woest, past the center. Also doable on foot if you have enough time. (20 to 25 min walk) All in all; we really enjoyed it! And would love to come back again.

We enjoyed with our daughter and two dogs a wonderful vacation week here! The house is clean, very lovingly furnished and fully equipped - we felt very comfortable from the arrival. Around the pretty house several terraces and garden places are laid out, so you can walk with the sun. The entrance to the house with the parking is not fenced to the street, the garden is separated with fence or a thick hedge. We have used the open front for a fine workout with our dogs so they do not run to the road. It is however also only a very small narrow one-lane access road, so even if the dogs ran out of here actually hardly risk. The quiet location on the outskirts (also August!) Was ideal with the rented bicycles - we could in a few minutes from the house directly the beach, the village and the supermarket. The bikes we booked from home on the Internet and we were delivered directly to the house on the day of arrival and picked up there again on the last day. We used our car only for sightseeing trips to Den Helder, Enkhuizen and cities nearby. The beach is fantastically beautiful, although dogs in the Netherlands during the day to be led on the beach, the beaches were mostly so small that we could let the dogs at the sea free play. Beach cafes and the restaurants in Callantsoog are all very nice and we have always excellent food and were very friendly served.

Individual and tastefully furnished house with enough space for a family with several children. Stylish bathrooms where we did not find any outlet (Dutch building regulations?). The kitchen is very well equipped for intensive cooking though triggers the fire alarm from ... That is not visible from all sides of land acts in the photos may be somewhat larger than in reality, but that was no problem for us. Very nicely distributed around the house seating so that you can draw with the position of the sun are. Quiet, somewhat hidden location on the outskirts of Schagen whether that is in high season different if the neighboring cottages and the campsite are full, we can not judge, since we were at Easter there. The center and the beach is just over 1 km on foot / bike paths. For moving the site they recommend (or brought lending) bikes (at least 3 - 4) can be safely stored in the lockable storage. All in all very pleasant and absolutely empfehlenswert.Die was handed over solely by the release of a code for the key safe. Since we had no need for support, can not be assessed if and how the communication would have designed. however, was unusual that we had to make the beds themselves.

We enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely house, attractive, furnished with attention. The kitchen has a very extensive inventory. And then there is also a lovely garden with various places to sit together. I hope to return again!

We had a great time in the Biotope! It is a very nice house with a pleasant atmosphere and nicely decorated. In the house there is really everything you need, including games and books. The garden is very private with several places to sit, an oasis of calm indeed. It was very hot when we were there, but there are plenty of shady spots. And for inside there are three fans for cooling. Communication with the owner was very pleasant. We felt very welcome!

Lovely house, where we come with a group every year. Since this year a new owner, who contacts personally to discuss the arrival day. Everything is taken care of. Unfortunately 2 pillowcases were missing, but she came to fix this personally and quickly. Very customer-friendly and involved. The house remains lovely and is suitable for all ages. It's clean, spacious and just too good not to come back. It is just over 2 km to walk to Strandpaviljoen Woest and 1.5 km to the center. Perfect to do. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic long weekend at De Biotoop! The house lacks nothing and it was a real pleasure to enjoy the high level of finish and beautiful styling of the house. Really recommended! This house is on our favorites list :) Distance to the beach is fine, a 15 minute walk.

What a lovely house! Finely furnished and decorated, quiet in the middle of the trees, well equipped, with comfortable beds and sofas. The beaches and village are a few minutes away. Communication with the owner was perfect. We had a very relaxing week and will definitively consider coming back.

A lovely house with a nice garden. The house is really well equipped! Although there are bungalows in the area, you do not notice that when you are in the house or garden. A lot of privacy! Shops and beach within walking distance (15 minutes / 20 minutes). Also rented a few days of cycling. A lot of environment (beach, forest, nature Zwanenwater, tulip fields) seen. Magnificent!

What a lovely place for a family vacation! The kids enjoyed the trampoline while we relaxed on the terrace, We appreciated the thoughtful touches throughout the house, especially the heated mirrors in the bathrooms, The fact that the beach is so close is a major bonus!
