Very nice house. Beautifully located. The washing machine did not work and immediately someone came to fix it. It was impossible to make and that is why a new one arrived today, on Sunday. Great service!!

We have only positive things to say. A very friendly welcome and everything was immaculate. The surroundings and the view are beautiful. If we do have to nitpick, there is one thing that is missing and that is beer glasses, but otherwise everything is there. We have had a great weekend!

We have been received nicely. The house is beautiful. It is beautifully situated at the foot of a ruin that is only open on weekends. It is wonderfully large. Clean. The environment is super. There is so much to do. Rail bike (cycling on an old railroad track), hiking, beautiful places such as Dinant are worth a visit and very cool kayaking on the Lesse. This house and its surroundings are really worth a visit!

We were greeted by the very helpful manager. The cozy house offers plenty of space even for larger families, is located right next to the romantic castle ruins Montaigle and surrounded by beautiful landscape. The valley of the Molignée can be explored with the Draisine and visit the nearby abbey of Maredsous. But also cities like Dinant and Namur, many castles, gardens and grottos in the area are easily accessible and invite you to discover. We felt very comfortable.

We were well picked up on arrival and got a tour of the house which looked very nice. Very well-equipped kitchen, two well-functioning fireplaces, an outdoor BBQ, garden furniture and a fire place in the garden. Beautiful view from the garden. The ruin is right next to the cottage, in a very beautiful and quiet area. On weekends there are more hikers over. In the garage was a larger fridge filled with fresh beer and wine and there was a freezer we could use. There was a good mountain of wood for a great price for the fireplaces. During our stay, the manager was well placed to solve a small problem. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed this house and the surrounding area!

Warm welcome on arrival. The property is in tip-top order. Very spacious and you have several sitting areas so everyone when needed can have some privacy. Equipped with everything you need. The setting is impressive especially the ruins of the castle which is just behind the house. Good base to make several visits, walking, cycling (RAVEL), to a terrace.

We had booked this house in the Belgian Ardennes quite randomly. Obviously read some reviews. They were no exaggeration.We really had a wonderful holiday in and around this house. The house had more to it than was described! In one of the warm weeks of summer 2020, we enjoyed the house, the environment and the many possibilities and would like to come back again.It already started with the arrival, we were met by the very friendly (only French speaking) owner who showed us around and explained. What immediately stood out was the enormous space in the house and the cleanliness. We have almost always been impressed with how clean the holiday homes were, but this one surpassed all, neat and immaculate. The location is beautiful. Onhaye / Falaën is located in the western foothills of the Ardennes, but against our expectations, the area is beautifully rugged with huge rock massifs. The location at the entrance to the castle ruins really gives it an atmosphere. The ruin is open during the day and quite a few hikers and visitors passed by. Because the outside terrace is screened off in a nice way, it is certainly not bothersome and gives something nice. Because the ruin is closed "at night, the adjacent building is the ticket office and museum and the other house is being renovated," you have complete freedom and tranquility in the evening. Yet you really don't feel lonely or deserted: the beautiful country house is located approx. 100m deeper in the valley; the houses 300m earlier at the beginning of the entrance building and the noise of traffic (not bothersome) on the hairpin bends road still give a safe feeling.Atmosphere also give the crickets and the beautiful sound of the fast-flowing river La Molignée, which is 30m from the house. Due to the heat we walked in it every day over the boulders, or went under (no real swimming is possible) or by car 1 kilometer further to one of the water

Excellent accommodation! We stayed with a group of 9 friends at the vacation house in Falaën. Owners were very friendly and available to pick up and drop off the key. Vacation house was very pretty, spacious and clean. Very good locations for walking routes and not far from Dinant.

The house is beautiful, in a valley, overlooking a pond and meadow between the forest and at the foot of castle ruins Montaigle. The house is spacious and the kitchen includes pretty much everything you could wish for. The terrace is nice afternoon in the sun. From the house you can walk a lot. The reception is only in French and the house is enjoyed somewhat gehorig.Wij with two adults and two children.

Wonderfully secluded, but easily accessible. Very green environment. The cottage was well cared for everything was in abundance (crockery, cooking equipment, bbq, etc). There was a tour in the beginning by the key keeper and the showers need some instruction (in French).

A lovely house with all amenities. The house was clean on arrival. The owner of the house very friendly and helpful. We and our four children ranging from 2 years to 9 years have a great time. There is a stream for swimming and in the woods you can make lovely walks. We had a nice holiday.

We have spent a week in this cottage in September, I can not say anything else than that we had a fantastic week's hebben.Huis with all gemakken.In garage was even a large freezer and an extra fridge with some drinks you fee at the end of the week nuttige.Eigenaar could only speak French but we all explained very friendly. You are at the center of a great tourist region! We have bicycles for rent if you want to enjoy the Ravel which passes a few meters!
