Very nice house! Beautiful surroundings. It was perfect for our group. Beds were nice and the host was very helpful. Unfortunately we had some problems with the dishwasher, but that was neatly solved by the host.

Had a very good stay last weekend. Accommodation was clean, good location, nice to sit outside, enough space to eat with Zen all inside or outside, enough frigos, sanitary, ... Also the communication regarding arrival and key went very smoothly.Enige minus point was the wifi which did a little less well, otherwise great stay for a large group!

Wow! We had a great weekend! It was a very nice location fully adapted to our group. A large building with enough bedrooms and enough beds. The kitchen was well equipped and was equipped with all necessary materials. Necessary products were present in the kitchen which was very handy. The landlords had provided a handy folder with walks and documentation. In addition, a nice environment.

Well situated. Spacious holiday home that is very well equipped. Everything we needed was available. The spacious cozy shelter on the side of the house was very nice to be able to eat outside with less weather, etc. Good communication with the landlords before departure and their telephone availability for any problems was also very reassuring in advance.

La Scierie has everything you expect from a holiday home in the Ardennes. In terms of design, everything is available. If the weather is good, it is wonderful and atmospheric to eat and sit under the covered terrace. The location is ideal for very nice walks. Furthermore, many possibilities in the area (caves of Hotton, Adventure Valley in Durbuy, etc.).

With a large group of people we have had a wonderful stay here. The kitchen is completely top-notch with plenty of work space, powerful stove and more than enough stuff and crockery to make a lot of food with a couple of people. Tasty outside at the BBQ and in the evening in the cozy sitting area by the fireplace, with everyone at the breakfast table went well in the living room downstairs.

Beautiful surroundings, quite centrally located near Hotton, a nice little town. Excellent bakery within walking distance. The cottage seemed a bit "outdated" but was quite pleasant to stay in with a group. The rooms were a bit noisy. The beds were of good quality. The recreational options made up for a lot.

Het huisje is ideaal voor een verblijf met een vriendengroep. Het dichtstbijzijnde andere huis lag minimaal 100 meter verderop. Daarnaast waren de faciliteiten zoals een tafelvketbal, biljarttafel en bar prima.
Minpumt was de hygiëne. Het huisje was niet echt schoon toen wij arriveerden. Hebben zelf nog het e e.a. schoon moeten maken.

The cottage was pleasant, well-equipped with materials. The beds are comfortable, and there are enough showers and toilets. The pergola with the barbecue was welcome since we had some rain: we were able to take shelter there. The small negative points: a dishwasher that struggled to handle the load, an outdoor area that wasn't very pleasant (construction fences), the accommodation is a bit outdated. We had a very enjoyable time, the cottage met our needs.

The house is wonderfully sized with a nice covered terrace, large kitchen, dining room, lounge, bar and recreation room.
The only point of recommendation for improvement is the waste policy. It is good that the waste must be separated, but it would also be nice if the collection bins offer space for the waste. On arrival everything was almost filled to the brim, and from arrival the email address of the landlord was unreachable.
All in all, highly recommended given the size in the Ardennes.

The holiday home was well laid out and large enough to stay there with 14 people. Unfortunately, it is outdated and offers less comfort than we expected for that price. In the kitchen, only 3 of the 6 burners worked, there were musty old kitchen cabinets. However, a new dishwasher. Living space was dark, wooden floor was black with dirt, seats had stains and holes in them from cigarettes or something. Few bright spots. The fireplace makes it cozy. Nice that there is a tap billiards and football table, only the bottom is loose from the table, so that no decent game can be played. It was also impossible to get warm in the play area, heaters did not get warm there even though they were set to 3. In the bedrooms, wallpaper is coming loose, skirting boards are gone. Bunk beds are unsafe for younger children, beds creaked and squeaked, fortunately good mattresses. You sit with your nose against the door in the toilets downstairs. The shower room is handy, there are 4 showers next to each other. The water had the right temperature. So it would be ideal if the house got a decent makeover.

Welcome to De Zagerij, a charming and spacious holiday home in Rendeux, Belgium, once a historic sawmill powered by a waterwheel. Nestled beside a small stream, this unique property consists of two separate houses, each with its own living room, offering comfort and privacy for families or groups traveling together. Ideal for nature lovers, scenic walks begin right at your doorstep. Enjoy day trips to picturesque towns like Durbuy, La Roche-en-Ardenne, Hotton, Dinant, and Rochefort. Whether you're exploring the Ardennes or relaxing indoors, De Zagerij is your perfect base. Inside, the home is warm and inviting with heating and a cozy fireplace. Enjoy amenities such as board games, table football, and a bar in the left house. Smoking is not allowed indoors, but ashtrays are provided at outdoor exits. Waste is sorted into two bins, black for general waste and green for compost, and collected every Tuesday. Parking is available on-site. Please respect the peaceful setting: refrain from using the radio after 20:00. For safety reasons, electric vehicles must not be charged via the domestic power network; doing so may incur extra costs.
