It is located in the middle of a 3-hectare park, private and fenced. The authentic layout is the work of the owner, an artist and collector. Optional heating for the months of May to the end of August: 45 euros / night. Ideal for large families and groups: 8 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. You won't really want to leave the grounds with their shady spots and the pleasant saltwater swimming pool ... Want to do something? Here are a few tips :
- Visit the castle of Saint-Aubin-sur-Loire -Relax for a day in the large wellness complex "Celto Spa" in Bourbon-Lancy (5km)
- Rent a bike in Bourbon-Lancy and take a ride on one of the cycle paths, for example on the banks of the Loire.
- Take a hike in the beautiful surroundings - Rent a canoe in Dompierre-sur-Besbre and take a trip on the river - Visit the amusement park and zoo Le Pal (20km). It is suitable for all ages!
- Visit the charming town of Moulin-sur-Allier On Saturdays there is the market in Bourbon-Lancy. Of course, you can buy the best Burgundy wines in the surrounding area to accompany your convivial evening barbecue ... an unforgettable holiday!

We had a wonderful time at this castle. It is very well equipped for large groups, with a lot of decent kitchen equipment that makes it very nice to cook with the entire group. (we are 14). All bedrooms have an en-suite bath room. This is of course a castle, so do not expect a very modern interior, but a very cozy decoration in each room, a good fit to the house. Responsiveness from the owners is extremely good We had an issue with the electricity, not related to the house, but to EDF Stephanie asked immediatelly, contacted a technician that came by in 20 minutes and even the mayor or the village came by to check if everything was ok We stayed during the end of year period, the castle was nice and warm We would highly recommend this holiday house for larger groups, families, etc, both in winter and in summerseason.

We arrived early with a sick family member and given immediate access to the house. The bedrooms are fine, the first view and the building is impressive. There is sufficient material present in the kitchen. The owner is a very charming dame.Het entering the house faster (immense and so there is really need time to polish), was the cleaning lady also immediately signal to leave, which was really unfortunate. There were a lot of spider threads (not really one week), the sheets stuck in the kitchen .. I wanted to tell the dear lady that she has a beautiful building, but that it puts her a ride. But the cleaning lady remained studiously at the interview site and its relationship with the landlady seemed rather amicably. So, they have to figure out yourself, thought ik.De gardens, the pool, however, makes a lot of good. The magnificence of the building and the property of the bedrooms, with good beds.

We had a fantastic week at the chateau in Saint-Aubin-sur-Loire. It is beautifully situated and suitable for larger groups who want to enjoy a week of tranquility in and around an attractive chateau. When the weather is nice, the swimming pool offers welcome refreshment and entertainment, but we also enjoyed ourselves indoors on rainy days in the large, bright conservatory and spacious living room. The building breathes history and everything is there to cook for a large group for a week. There is also not much to do in the area but that was no objection to us given the entertainment available. Despite the fact that the country house is located on a road along the edge of a village, we had a good sense of privacy and we did not have to be afraid of causing noise nuisance at the pool. The maintenance leaves something to be desired; the paint is peeling from the ceiling, the house is covered with grubby carpets and much of the furniture is creased. The beds are not necessarily comfortable and the bedding needs to be replaced. Considering the price you pay for a week, a thorough refurbishment wouldn't be too much to ask; cleaning the mold in the bathrooms would be a good start. When checking out, we were greeted very kindly by one of the owners. However, in our opinion, he was too critical of the state in which we had left the house, especially given the sub-optimal state of hygiene in which we entered the chateau ourselves the Saturday before. Fortunately, this did not cause any problems with the handling of the deposit.

Charming and generously equipped holiday home in authentic style (18th century) with nice swimming pool. The house could use a makeover and especially a thorough cleaning (even by French standards): hygiene in bathrooms is ok, but dust and cobwebs are different everywhere. Not for people who get dirty easily. Location is quiet, but not much to do in the area.

First the positive: the very large country house is beautifully situated in a large, walled domain. Safe and ideal for families with small children. The - somewhat small - swimming pool is childproof. Unfortunately it was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait until the following afternoon to find the welcome cooling. The house was a disappointment. Large, indeed, but old and dingy. Stuffed with - in our eyes - clutter that only collects dust in a holiday home and is completely unnecessary for the uninitiated in the history of the home. All the 'interesting flea market' aside, there is also real rubbish: broken beds, worn curtains, dozens of rusted keys, corkscrews, po "s ... you can hardly imagine if the rooms are or are full of them. There was also dust everywhere, spider webs decorated all corners and edges, we even had to drive away 2 bats from the bedrooms, carpets and mats are there, there are sagging, unattractive couches, dozens of useless cupboards and tables ... We left most of the rooms downstairs neat because of too dingy and (for our children) too "creepy". The bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor can continue, although here too many mats and rugs, hanging curtains, totally unnecessary paintings and photos. Get rid of those things, freshen up the rooms with a lick of paint, nice curtains, and leave the floors free of mats (allergies). But the worst and completely unacceptable are the two attic rooms. Dirty pink floor coverings, curtains that are not worthy of the name and moreover hanging loose, dusty seats, a stuffed, old bookcase with books that nobody reads, rickety beds ... and most importantly: no shutters at the window and that at temperatures of 40 degrees. .. that was sweating at night and little or no night's rest. And then we have to talk about "the worst of the sausage" ..

The château has long been used as a guest house, but has long since lost its old allure. Everything is old, messy, dingy and absolutely outdated. The sanitary facilities can no longer be rented out in this condition.

We were here in a cool week in May and it was very cold inside, it was barely possible to heat it. The owner turned on the heater in the basement, but this had to be paid separately (and it remained <18 degrees).

Contact with the owner is good, very friendly and helpful, but that does not compensate for the complete lack of comfort in all areas.

Finally, we booked this location with 15 people (our extended family), but the dining room cannot accommodate them, nor does the conversation room. The garden room is uncluttered, we could not use it. The landlord or BelVilla should have communicated this much better.

In short, our company is good, the food is delicious, and we all laugh again at this farce of a location

We were 14 adults and had a very pleasant stay in this huge house in which many see is it seems like a museum with all the old furniture and stuff. The garden is lovely what a room and what a rest (we have but just do not have the jets which flew over a few times), sun and shade abound everywhere. A couple of negatives. One of the showers (Chamber 1) did not work properly, the water in the pool had the last few days a weird green color. Furthermore, a new dishwasher would be no luxury, this did not wash clean. Anyhow the house shows or any maintenance.

Nice and pleasant garden breakfast, dinner under the trees ... nice quiet pool ... Spacious rooms, decent and sanitary fittings sufficiently large fridge freezer is somewhat limited for drinks and meals for 14 personen.Tof that there is a pool. Too bad that is very worn. Spacious seating area. Too bad the seats are worn out and even stale ruiken.Voldoende material and kitchen utensils but the bags, glasses, pots ... had not had enough clean gemaakt.Wij luck we could still sit outside. In wet weather, the dining area is too small inside. Then the porch certainly worden.Algemeen into use we surely must be very happy and also as athletic cyclists have enjoyed the spacious surroundings with nice flat bike paths along the Loire but also of steep climbs in a green, spacious small omgeving.Een little more care (maintenance) and renewal of some business (billiards, seats ...) and the removal of excess
