We were welcomed by the owner who spoke English well. It is an apartment on the first and second floor with a small roof terrace. It was very clean and comfortable, including good beds. It seemed recently renovated or refurbished, some details were not (yet) finished, such as baseboards and a bathroom window that does not close properly. The TV could receive many satellite channels, but not Dutch, such as BVN. For the children there was a playground in the street. We had a nice holiday.

The owner was very friendly and nice. The accommodation was completely fine. He still needs to improve a few things, but over time he will manage it as well. So we were satisfied, and our children were too. Close to many swimming spots and from PlÃ¶n where there are shopping options. There were also many restaurants to choose from, reachable in a few minutes by car. Thank you very much for that, and maybe until next time. Best regards, the Holm family.

The apartment on the first and second floor is very spacious and light. The beds are wide and very good. The house is clean and equipped with most conveniences, such as a dishwasher and a washing machine. The roof terrace is also nice. Unfortunately, there is no parasol there, so it is actually too hot there between 11 and 3 pm.

The apartment could use a makeover here and there, but inside it's mostly small things. What we found very unfortunate is that the covered veranda in the garden (which is in the photos) has collapsed. It can no longer be used. The garden that is mentioned is also not really usable, because no seating areas have been created It's a bit of a mess in there.

The environment is beautiful. Plön is nearby with various supermarkets and it is wonderful to relax on the lake. The beach at Hohwacht and the city of Lübeck are also recommended.

The description of the holiday apartment does not quite match the actual condition. The bathroom has an unpleasant smell, even though the window is open all the time (the window is old, black with moisture, and doesn't really close). There is no hairdryer, even though it is mentioned in the description. The bedrooms are fine, the bed linen and towels/bath towels are included in the price and are very clean. The kitchen is not so badly equipped overall, but there is very little cutlery; we only had four teaspoons available, among other things. The garden cannot be used, as chickens and ducks are kept there, although garden use was not important to us because we were out and about a lot. But I think guests should be informed about this in advance. The PlÃ¶n area is super beautiful!! We enjoyed being out and about, there is a lot to see and a lot of "water" :) My conclusion: even though the apartment is quite cheap, the description should be adjusted to reflect the facts.

The landlord is very nice. The apartment has aged and is partly not particularly nicely furnished. Unfortunately, there are neither seat cushions for the terrace chairs nor for the hard wooden kitchen chairs. There are also no fly screens on the windows, and since the apartment heats up a lot during the day in the sunshine, one has to sleep with the window open at night. As can be seen in the pictures, there is no way to darken the windows. What is not visible in the pictures is that the balcony floor is very badly damaged, making it difficult to sit there. The lawn with the pond and the little house is also unusable because chickens and ducks are kept over the entire area. For us, this was not so bad because we were out a lot and have a nice garden at home, but for people who plan to spend time in the garden or to grill there, they will unfortunately be disappointed. Since the accommodation is quite inexpensive, one cannot have such high expectations, but the text and the pictures should definitely be updated.

No hot water in the kitchen, mold on the shower curtain, bathroom window could not be opened or closed properly. Summer blankets despite cold weather, outdated or incorrect furnishings, blackout in the sleeping area not possible. Main entrance could not be locked, the listings did not indicate that the landlord lives in the house or that animals live on the property. Balcony was not usable. Hairdryer not available. Bathtub not usable for bathing as there was no plug. Faucet continued to run during shower function. Dryer not available and no means to use the washing machine or dishwasher.
