A great house in a wonderful place! Very complete and neatly furnished. Around the house are all kinds of places to enjoy the sun. Our favorite was the spot in front of the house, where we had a beautiful wide view of all the beautiful autumn colors. Thanks to the heated pool, you could even swim during the autumn holidays. Within walking distance of the small village of Oupia where "fresh bread can be obtained in the morning, supermarket is a 5-minute drive away. In the restaurant L"Asphodele you can enjoy delicious food, with very friendly service. Nearby are Carcassonne, Minerve, Gruissan and Narbonne. A car is necessary.

Our stay in villa Beau Coupe was more than successful. A comfortable place to stay for 8 adult family members in a corner of France that is less known to us. The rippling tranquility of the rhythm of the Canal du Midi, the green environment that has become less touristy than in other French regions, beautiful sun, .. that feeling that if you don't look at your watch, your holiday will never end. .Highly recommended, all comfort available, nice terrace and swimming pool!

House with a great view, two terraces (1x sheltered from the wind) which can be used depending on the position of the sun, furnishings good and tasteful, living room with 3 two-seater and large dining area very bright and cozy, kitchen well equipped (dishes, glasses) with plenty of space to relax Cooking, utility room next to it (very practical), everything sour and well-kept, storage space in the bedrooms good, beds a bit "hard", nicely laid out and well-kept property, ideal for 4 people as there are 2 separate sleeping and bathroom areas, quiet except for Donkeys nearby :-), fresh baguette available in the village in the morning but also not far to the bakery in Olonzac, for large purchases you should drive a little further - supermarket in Olonzac only mediocre, uncomplicated takeover of the house with a key safe and advance transmission by access code, pool ok but a little restricted swimming because it sloped sideways,

It was a bit of a search for the entrance of the house (could be me), but once the door opened, the house gave a nice spacious feeling. I found it neat and equipped with everything you need.

The house is located in a picturesque village with friendly people and has a magnificent view of the area, especially at sunset.

The only downside is that the house has no air conditioning, so sleeping is not obvious during a heat wave.

Very nice house in a beautiful environment with a beautiful view. We have been here before and also enjoyed it this time. Too bad there were many defects that could have been easily solved. The house was not really clean on arrival. We pointed this out to the landlord and he indicated that he did not check everything properly…..

A warm welcome to our house Beau Coupe!
We hope you have a good time and enjoy our house, the beautiful view and all the good things that French life has to offer. Make yourself at home and treat the house and it's environment with respect. You have probably already studied Languedoc. The walled city of Carcassonne and Minerve are of course the 'must see' places, make sure to get there early as it can get busy. Furthermore are also nice to visit Beziers, Narbonne and Perpignan. If a longer distance is not a problem then go to Pezenas, Montpellier and Toulouse. A little closer and yet a nice place for a few hours: Lagrasse. Le Somail and Homps are even closer and fun for a drink, lunch or dinner on the Canal du Midi. Do you like the beach and the sea, the beaches of Gruissan are about 45 minutes away. If you go to Gruissan don't forget to take a look at Plage des Chalets (beach houses on stilts) and make sure you stop by La Perle Gruissanaise not only for oysters. You get it, even though we do not stop talking about the surroundings, there is much to see and discover. We have not even talked about the nice markets in Olonzac and Lezignan on Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Restaurants are plentiful we only mention two Lo Cagarol in Aigne and La Grange in Bize-Minervois are well worth a visit. If you really want to have a French lunch, go to the cafe on the corner next to the petrol staion in Cabezac, in the back of the shop you can join the Menu Du Jour for about 12 euros including wine and bread. Want to see beautiful (sailing) yachts? Then go to the ports of Gruissan or Cap d'Agde, stroll along boats, terraces and shops. Finally, what is France without wine ..... are you by car and would you like to bring something tasty? Then take a look at CDD a wine shop in Lezignan special wines from 3 euros.
