This old country house is really beautiful and very clean and attractive. It offers a lot of space and also outside there is a beautiful terrace and a wonderful view over the countryside. It is very quiet and you immediately feel relaxed. The owner is very friendly and helpful and is immediately on site if you need anything. I would recommend this house to anyone and hope that I will come back again myself.

Very nice, very large accommodation, a real chateau. Big rooms. Huge, park-like garden, with terrace, deck chairs, barbecue and garden furniture; also suitable for dog owners. Very friendly landlord. Environment absolutely quiet. Good value for money.

It looks just like the photos. If you love the photos you will love this place. It is so peaceful and quite. The gardens are so tranquil and there is so much bird and animal life to remind us city dwellers what it is really like to live in a small country town. There are plenty of very nteresting and very different towns and villages within a 45 min drive and we even jumped on a fast train to Paris for a day without any hassle or issues (45 min drive and 2 hours on the train) The only negative is we did get caught out a few times trying to find somewhere to eat when everything was closing at 1.30pm and many not reopening until 7pm. (plan ahead) The house is huge and I would recommend it for larger groups otherwise it may feel a bit empty (we had a party of 6 people) The owners are lovely and although they speak very little English we managed communication between our two cultures. 5 star holiday.

We spent a wonderfully relaxing week (7 days) in this charming, peacefully located manor house – and we are simply thrilled. The house impresses with its historical charm, stylish and loving decor, as well as spacious rooms that offer plenty of space to feel comfortable. The location is simply dreamy: quiet and idyllic, right in nature – yet we were flexible in our travels. Good shopping options in Decize: In just a few minutes by car, you can reach a small town with an excellent selection of shopping options – from well-stocked supermarkets to bakeries and charming local shops. Here we found all the supplies for breakfast, nice souvenirs, and regional products without any hassle. Bicycle rental nearby: Right on site or very close to the house, there is the opportunity to rent bicycles at fair prices. This was ideal for exploring the surroundings on our own – whether for relaxed bike rides along the Loire, to picturesque villages, or to remote viewpoints. A perfect combination of exercise, nature, and flexibility! Whether for relaxing, shopping, or sporty explorations – this manor house simply offers everything you could wish for a restful vacation. We really enjoyed our time there and can recommend it without reservation. We will definitely be happy to return!

We are very pleasantly received by the owners. Everything was present in the kitchen, by that I mean, even a pack of coffee, sugar, etc. The house is full of antiques, an eldorado for antique enthusiasts like us. Beds were blissful. The house is really huge.

Beautiful house in a very beautiful (remote) location. It meets all the modern requirements with the exception of the wifi. It works almost no. The garden with large pond is perfectly maintained. Ideal for rest and by car there is always a trip nearby.

If you are looking for peace and green and you like to stay in a sturdy and robust building with history, this is highly recommended. The owners are friendly, sweet people who give you peace and respect your personal privacy. You can walk around freely on the domain and you can look from far away. Very relaxing. Decize, the Loire, Le Canal de Nivernais are close by. You can walk there and it is ideal for cycling. Shopping? In less than ten minutes you are at the department store with the car.

Very warmly received by the owner who also neatly had a belvilla sign posted along the road. Otherwise you would drive past the enormous driveway in the woods! What a fantastic house and garden to relax! All very spacious rooms and we (family with 2 boys aged 19 and 21) have made grateful use of the billiard room every night. We found the area more suitable for cyclists than for walkers. There is forest but not really good walkable paths through it. Well see deer and squirrels on own plot !!

A beautiful country house with large garden and pond. Ideal holiday for those who love some peace and tranquility.
The house is divided into several large living areas, each decorated with authentic furniture.
very nice for those who like it. Cozy and quiet terrace overlooking the large garden. The owners live in another part of the house but are very friendly and let you enjoy yourself.
One downside, especially with children, is the WIFI or the telephone range. Since it is somewhat remote, there is little coverage.

This was a wonderfully quiet region with good cultural attractions at relatively short distances. Autun, for example, was a direct hit with, among other things, the event full of Flemish artists. The very spacious country house was very comfortable and stylish (only the last additions with ikea-like frills were dissonant). With the friends billiards, nicely cooked in the kitchen, slept well with a lullaby by the dwelling bee-eaters ... The next-door owners were very cordial but discrete. We could greet their hunting dogs on a daily basis. The heat was great but that was everywhere this summer. A nice place to celebrate holidays with friends or family!

We had a pleasant stay at this mansion, but it was quite straightforward, The house was clean, and all essential amenities were present, The bedrooms were comfortable, and the kids enjoyed their space, The location is peaceful, making it great for a family retreat, but don’t expect too much in terms of luxury, We found the terrace nice for some quiet time, though we didn't use the barbecue facilities, A good option if you're looking for somewhere calm and functional

Prima accommodation. Beautiful large garden with both sun and shade under the beautiful trees, where our dogs also had a great time. We enjoyed the breeding stork, the singing of the many birds and at night even a night owl with a concert. Friendly owner (Unfortunately, only French). Nice place 6 km away for the groceries with fine bakers, butchers and Various supermarkets (Decize) and beyond Moulins, Nevers to visit.
