The fireplace was the highlight of our stay, especially during chilly evenings, The house was well-furnished, and we felt well taken care of throughout our visit,

Spacious and serene! The area is peaceful, and we could easily access the forest for some hiking, The house itself was clean and well-maintained, making our stay quite enjoyable,

We had a very enjoyable weekend. The venue is beautifully situated, and spacious enough for our party. The house is a little dated, but very charming. Bedrooms in good order, no complaints. Plenty of room for the children to play, also outside. For those who like to cook: the oven is great, but we found the fires a bit below par. There were few wine and champagne glasses for a large party, everything else was sufficient.

House where you go back in time and an almost fairytale atmosphere prevails. Nice large private terrace for the sunny hours. Beds slept fine. Beautiful area with lots of greenery and good location, exactly between Ghent and Bruges.

As we entered the house, we paid our eyes. The house was a museum in itself. Everything was provided and was not possible, we could catch up with Genevieve, the house bazaar. Genevieve was a very friendly woman and very helpful.

A little exciting a small country road, where "savonds passes by. At the end a parking lot forbidden to call the house called at the house, no hearing .. After walking the owner found .. Everything worth it! Great house, a lot rooms, two large group rooms, a play / sitting terrace.

Beautiful quiet location in nature. Beautiful area for walking in the woods. Warm welcome by the lady of the house. Beautiful large spaces in the style of an "old" country house. Beautiful natural garden. Downside is that some beds deserve new mattresses.

Spacious house, with all necessary facilities, but worn out and full of unnecessary things that are unnecessary for the tenant, such as paintings, souvenirs, cupboards, old sofas, etc.

There is a lot I can say about the house. Let"s start with the positive. It is a very big house that, in our case, easily fitted 13 adults and 9 small children. The house is situated in a green environment close to multiple forests to go for walks and a short drive away from lovely cities such as Gent and Bruges. Our kids loved running around the house and playing in all the different rooms and with the toys and stuffed animals that were present. The kitchen was cozy and had more than enough plates, glasses, cutlery etc. Overall we enjoyed our time together here. However, there is also definitely a lot of room for improvement. First of all, this house is not for the neat freaks among us and that is an understatement. It is filled to the brim with stuff and just isn"t very clean. Apart from the dust, we found old cookies under the beds, candy wrappers in side tables, and dirty cotton swabs. A lot of the mattresses are very old and have holes in them and one of the beds fell apart, literally. You are supposed to bring your own sheets but that also means that the sheets that are already on the bed for protection are clearly not washed between stays considering the hair and stains we found. Finally, about the hospitality, there are notes everywhere around the house directing what guests should or shouldn"t do, and friends of ours who arrived 30 minutes before us together with their two small children were under no circumstances allowed to enter the house before we got there to pay the €500 deposit.
So overall conclusion: did we enjoy our stay? I guess we did. Would we advise against staying here? No, I guess not. However, know what you can expect! :-)

We have spent the Easter weekend at this residence. You're really going back in time, which gives a warm feeling. The owner of the house is very friendly and very helpful. The mansion is old but very nice highly recommended. The house is very spacious and fully furnished as it was 60 years ago, chandeliers, large paintings and antique furniture. Keep in mind that it's all going according to Belgian standards, short set your requirements and you have a great holiday. I say a must.

We (party of 21pers) find that this property should be. Not let It was not really dirty rather dingy. The garden and the terrace was our feeling for years done nothing. The furniture was old, that in itself is not so bad as we thought, but the plants on the windowsill were at least as old. The lady who rented and also also lived next was again super friendly and very pleasant. No address to make! Advertising

The kitchen exudes not a luxury, but is very well equipped with very good gas hob and oven. Also nice that you sit at a large, wide table with large group. Large lounge where everyone can sit together. Sleeping area can not say enough, many rooms and lots of beds, but double beds are mainly doubters (120cm). No wifi, only wired internet and then in the hallway on the first floor. With 10 students who do some work for school had a problem. Table tennis is in the garden, sheltered though, is useful but not really more professional (scheefggetrokken by moisture).

We go every year at the New Year off with a group of friends (12 adults and 8 children, now between 7-13 yrs). This location was daarvor suitable, especially the lovely large dining room where we were seated. Easily with its 12 and 1 table The location is well situated for visiting both Ghent and Bruges. The care around the house fell against (especially given the description on the site). The unexpected costs (related to heating, water, waste tax, etc) fell against better participate in the rent. We had a wonderful weekend with our entire family, which consists of a total of as "one of 25 people existed. The house is fine for as" a big group, but because we had lovely weather we could get a lot out of life. There was no TV so everyone was obliged to entertain some very nice moments entailed, in another way it was old-fashioned fun games doing. Peacock at the house brought a lot of atmosphere and the kids loved the animals around the house beautifully. The only disadvantage was the very dated kitchen and hygiene in the home and kitchen. This was our view far away. Separating waste was very extensive / deliberately done for each waste was a bag / receptacle. Because the house has its own water supply, and therefore one had a quick shower. Sometimes the water stopped just ...

We were here mid-week with the family. (April) Age 56-76. It is a fantastic house with lots of atmosphere. A (small) downside is impractical kitchen, where we actually have the humor have recognized. The location of the house is beautiful tranquility and beautiful nature. Also the terrace we enjoyed amazing. We hiked, biked, and one day to Bruges before. The upper floor is noisy, not a disaster for a few days. A must!

Fine, very atmospheric, great and although still pleasing home! All antique furniture and paintings give it a very feudal atmosphere .... More than enough sleeping with generally good beds and adequate sanitation. We visited the home as part of a family reunion and there was also something for everyone. Plenty of opportunity for sporting activity enough games available and a cozy, well-working fireplace! And since we are also a vibrant and musical family, we were very pleased with the well-equipped kitchen (even though it was very used to the butane gas stove) and PIANO! One aspect we did not, however, absolute delight: COCK that infernal every morning at half past five income charge went crows! That you can not do your guests!

We have a very nice family weekend behind in REDPOOL.De Friday night was not everyone arrived. We had dinner in the pleasant kitchen and made a lot of fun. The other days we ate in the dining room. Cool. The piano in the hallway has not stood much. A few family members can play the piano and a lot of kids would like to leren. We had no luck with the weather. Rain, rain and more rain. But the more luck with the house. A fantastic salon, cozy, with a sea of u200bu200bruimte.De owner is super friendly. And pistolets Sunday were fine. A real aanrader.Hilde and famimie (25 people)
