A really great holiday home! Very stylishly furnished with many great artistic details! The house offers everything you need; Fully equipped kitchen, washing machine (dryer just means a drying rack to hang up), garden furniture with deckchairs and many other amenities...! So everything a vacationer's heart desires. The location can't be beat! You cross the street and you are on the beach promenade. A few steps further and you are in the sand and at the sea! The house is also between two stops of the coastal tram, which takes you quickly to Westende-Bad or Ostend! However, there is a small drawback, parking spaces are only available at the accommodation for a fee and luck... during the high season it really takes luck to get a parking space nearby... in the low season, however, it is not a problem for small money near the house to park. About 11 minutes away on foot, there is probably also a free parking lot, but it was too far away for us

Friendly welcome by the owner. Very quiet area with the icing on the cake, of course, the beautiful house. We all enjoyed the quiet and beautiful framing of the interior. The children read the cozy fire strips and discoveries made through the house. When we had a problem was the owner immediately ready to help, super service on site. Despite the cold outside had a warm experience! We come with pleasure back sometime.

The house, surrounded by quiet dunes, is very beautiful, a gem in the otherwise less beautiful Middelkerke. The sea is everywhere, despite the wall of apartment buildings.

The owner was waiting for us and led us around in his beautiful house. You can instantly see how much love and attention this house is decorated and refurbished. Disadvantage we find that there is almost no parking space at the house. Everything bomby and tie is the whole season like that. Had been nice if the house itself had been a place for at least 1 car. The bathroom is amazing and also all other facilities. We had a lot of time in the kitchen. There was more seating in the living room. Was tight and we were with 6 people. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful and very accessible for accidents. What is not told is that they themselves live on the right side of the house, although it still gave us all privacy. We enjoyed the surroundings and the beautiful stretch of beach and dune area. Buying tipped vials. We bought them ourselves.

The reception was warm and friendly. The one problem was parking. It would be more accurate if the property details made clear that there is no parking at the property. Parking may be available in the street nearby but this is not certain. Sometimes we had to park some distance away. This might not be easy for elderly or disabled people.

Nice house with beautiful elements. Nice and close to the sea and quiet in the dunes at the back. The grinding trams provide a special atmosphere.

The photo is a bit misleading because you only rent the left part of the house. Is special on the inside. And there is no private parking which the description suggests. Is there parking in the area but in high season some searching. Beautiful environment. Friendly owner who also lives there.

We are absolutely very satisfied with Belvilla, but not to mention the homeowner, this woman lives next to the rental holiday home. She kept complaining about the fact that we were one person too many (we had booked for 8 adults and we were 5 adults and 5 young children). This would pose a problem in terms of insurance, but what really mattered to her was the extra water and electricity consumption… which made no sense as we didn't exaggerate in terms of water, the kids often took a shower together. On the other hand, the shower continues to drip for a very long time due to a bad seal… if she solved this it would be better for water consumption. The homeowner, she also always made the comment that she did not need the money, their Delhaize in Westende yielded more than enough ... The house itself is great for a large family or people who know each other well (there is only 1 bathroom), very nicely finished by the previous owners (who were super sympathetic, we had already rented the house 5 years ago). All in all a nice holiday that was partly ruined by the homeowner who went beyond her book and even threatened with the police for 2 young children ...

When we arrived in the house it was freezing cold. The owner had just lit the pelet stove. Our first acquaintance with the house would have been more pleasant if the owner had already lit the stove in the morning.We also had our stay had problems with the stove.The stove in the living room was always turned off, so we do not use this space The stove in the dining room also did not function properly.De owner has been along to the stove to vacuum and then it was beter.De stove in the living room remained uitallen.De bedrooms are ok, but there is only one bathroom adjacent to a bedroom, ie everyone who goes to the bathroom has to pass through that one room, upstairs is the toilet in the bathroom, also a disadvantage.The shower is very comfortable.The kitchen is very small and there is little cooking utensils.The fire works very slow.At the wall in the dining room are chairs that hang together and where you sink in.This is very difficult to eat.In the living room are only two seats, so you can not m et everyone in the living room zit.Middelkerke is utterly ugly. It is full of apartment blocks and in the interior we took a walk, but there was nothing to see on the agricultural roads.

Beautiful house with original features and great for a family or group of friends who know each other well considering there was only one bathroom. The property is unique and the owners are top hospitable people. Definitely consider for the future to repeat.

We were with our five children on holiday. The house is very spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The host and hostess are very friendly. The location is perfect. Near the sea, tram and supermarket. In 20 minutes by tram you are in Ostend. The only flaw we found the parking. The drive does not belong to the house and there you can not stand. Public parking lots are always full. The house is a must.

In Middelkerke, in the vicinity of the house, was nothing to do. The interior was very mediocre. Only the bathroom and kitchen looked comfortable out. Not possible for lounging in the house with 6 people. Too bad that the ground floor was not cozy furnishings. Outdoor seating could only on a dry lawn or on a picnic bench.

The building is impressive and cool gelegen.Voor that price is very simple kitchen stove that barely works, a lamentably small portable oven, little equipment and just a Senseo (no ordinary coffee ...). Bathroom Decor is very basic for that price! We are sorry ...

Monumental art-deco villa in protected dune area 50 metres from the sea
This is a lovely 4-bedroom villa for 8 people in Middelkerke, close to the Belgium coast. There is a private fenced garden to lie down relaxing with a cool drink or to soak up the sun. It is ideal for a large family or 2 smaller families traveling together.
Locally known as Middelkerke Strand, the municipality of Middelkerke is famous for its vast beaches with fine-grained, soft sand. They are a great place for all water activities, bathing and walking. The sea beach is only 100 m away from here, perfect for enjoying a good time together.
There is a pellet stove in the villa for a comfortable stay. All bedrooms are equipped with electric heating. In the kitchen, you have a coffee machine and an oven to prepare good snacks in the evenings. The living room has a double sofa bed to lounge and to relax while having a cool refreshing drink. 2 washing machines and 2 tumble dryers are available. Parking is provided.
