The accommodation was not so easy to find as there is no proper address (it is on a country road). But we could easily find the way through a phone call. The accommodation is located in a beautiful park. The surroundings are beautiful and the villages and towns are medieval. It is not overpopulated by tourists.

We really enjoyed the house and the beautiful estate. The house was warm and cozy when we arrived and everything we needed was there. I really enjoyed the wood stove and the bath. Our bed was made and we really felt welcome. During New Year's Eve it was quiet and peaceful and that was exactly what we came for. However, our stay really relaxed us. You can enjoy walking in the area and visit some nice places. Highly recommended.

We stayed here with 5 adults, including 1 person in a wheelchair. The house is furnished with great care and attention. Unfortunately, we discovered the high/low system too late, but that is also a plus for the house. We were in September and were lucky with the weather. Even had a nice swim in the pool. Visited cities like Troyes, Nancy and Bar le Duc. If you like peace and quiet and don't mind driving a bit now and then, you will have a wonderful holiday here. There is also plenty to do for a family with children. Caught a lot of fish. Large lawn, table tennis swings. Very friendly and helpful owners. I think we will come back here again.

We were warmly welcomed by the owners and they were ready for any question during our entire holiday, they also gave tips for possible excursions. The house was in very good order. We took a daily walk to the bakery. For the supermarket we drove to Révigny sur Orain. If you are willing to drive for a while by car (each time about 1 hour) you can make nice trips to cities such as Reims, Verdun, Bar Le Duc (only 25 minutes drive) or Chalon and Champagne. During those car rides we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and we searched the forest edges and fields for deer. We also enjoyed the "Vent de Fôret" with marked walks in the forest where you can view various works of art along the way. At Parc Aragonne Découverte we saw wolves and a bird show. and to climb we went to the green recreation park Forêt Vasion. We also covered some km on foot near the castle, looking for deer, birds of prey, ...

The reception on location was excellent. The lord of the castle and lady are very nice people and already a bit older. At appropriate times they sometimes stop by to ask if everything is to your liking and whether you still need something (good host and wife). The cottage is very complete and well equipped, just take a good meat knife with you. The area is beautiful and you can make beautiful walks and geocaching if you like it.

After a short search for the entrance to the park, we were welcomed by the owner. They gave us a tour of our stay. On the table a fresh field bouquet and a jar of homemade jam. Nice quiet area. The accommodation was spotless and equipped with good equipment.

Well equipped and spacious gite in a lovely setting in the grounds of a small chateau. Pool great, well maintained. Very welcoming hosts who have excellent English. Family of four with two teenagers, had all the amenities we needed. We used this as a base for exploring the Verdun area battle sites, and relaxing pool days. Was very hot this August (2018) so didn't use the tennis court, but racquets and balls are supplied. The chateau gardens are open to visitors most afternoons but they were few and far between. The village has a bakery but you'll need to drive 10 minutes to Revigny for a supermarket. Gould family - Exeter UK

the estate was not that easy to find, especially when you arrive in the dark. The entrance, the ironwork gate, is at a crossroads, a bit hidden in the green. You easily overlook it. There are 3 glass containers on the same corner, that can be a landmark. The house was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. We were there around the turn of the year. It was freezing and it was cold outside. The house has underfloor heating and a wood burning stove. The (excellent) wood stove was really needed to heat up the living room. The other rooms were perfectly heated with the central heating. In Nettancourt itself, as described earlier, there is nothing to do at all. We did some shopping in Bar le Duc, a 20-minute drive away. Or a little closer 8 minutes' drive to 2 smaller supermarkets. Chalon and Champagne is a nice city to visit in the area.

Friendly welcome by a lady who lives nearby and was easily accessible throughout the stay. Beautiful domain but you can not walk everywhere because then the alarm goes off :-) Swimming pool is very nice and clean, with beautiful views. Unfortunately, there is a busy road next to the gïte and the swimming pool, so it is never really quiet. The cottage itself is fine but very basic. Unfortunately, the terrace has almost grown over due to the many plants, so that there is almost no view of the castle and the lawn. You then have the feeling of being "a little closed in". There is nothing available (eg sugar, salt, herbs, tablet for the dishwasher, ..) so bring everything yourself or go shopping immediately. There is not much to see in the area, but if you like walking it is a beautiful area. We had a great week.

House was very good. Everything spacious, large accommodation and also lovely that there were upstairs 2 bathrooms (and below one for the less able). Wonderful beds and also great for the disabled in the living room. Nice to drive to your accommodation via a real driveway! Showed very rich !! Huge trees and everything in the first bloom! We were a little early in the season, driving around the huge rapeseed fields was a special, welcome surprise! It was just a pity that the village could offer little entertainment. Fortunately there was a bakery, but otherwise everything was closed (and nailed up). It was also nice that we were unexpectedly invited to the castle. Take a look inside with a drink! Good choice!

It was a very nice holiday in a nice house with pool and the hostess (gentleman) very kind and friendly. We enjoyed it and the weather was excellent. The surroundings are not special but have been very nice with reading at the pool and places viewed. The pool chairs and umbrella should pay more attention to the television channels (no foreign channels too bad!) For the rest a lovely place.

The arrival was a bit confusing, because there are no signs where you had to report or something. The accommodation was fine and the surroundings also fantastic, even though most of the land was mown. There were many different colors to admire.
