It is a beautiful house within walking distance of ski slopes and bus stop to go to Winterberg. 5 spacious bedrooms with 3 excellent bathrooms. The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals. We will definitely come back again.

Great and big house where nothing is missing. Nice large garage, and a basement with washing machine, dryer and dryer closet. Prime living room and kitchen with own own space. Bedrooms and bathrooms are perfectly fine. Surrounding area is beautiful! We will definitely be back here.

Very uncomplicated arrival. Helpful staff and great area. Holiday house well found. A small start package with cleaning cloths, kitchen utensils and toilet paper would have been nice. We had for 8 people 2 rolls of toilet paper and no taps and had unfortunately only once.

Super chill spot! 5 bedrooms mean no one fights for space, Just a quick walk to the slopes and some cute restaurants nearby, BBQ setup is legit for those summer nights, Definitely coming back for more good times!

This cottage is such a vibe check! Cozy vibes and spacious enough for a squad of 10, The kitchen is fully stocked, so cooking up a storm is easy, Plus, BBQ on the terrace hits different, Proximity to the ski lifts is a major win, Just a short walk to restaurants too, 10/10 would recommend!

house could not be that big or in the pictures, everything is present, the bathroom could be better is outdated, shower upstairs was not in order but everything else was good. A plus was the tickets for free bus, train and discount on attractions very pleasant.

Nice house with a nice layout. German country style.dining room chairs near the table are very rickety. Not all bathroom doors can be locked. The fridge smells really bad, as if there is a cadaver somewhere in a place that you can't reach., We have kept food in an electric cool box, because it is too dirty to keep it in the fridge. Hygiene in the kitchen is on the edge. The barbecue is too filthy to handle.

Bad experience unfortunately, a pity that there were not more recent reviews of this house before we went to book. The only positive thing about the house is that it is ideally located. Cross the road and you are on the (small) slope. You will also be in Winterberg in no time, where there are even more ski areas. You can easily park 2 cars in front of the door, the drying room for your ski clothes / shoes is very nice. The house itself is very poorly maintained. Various door handles are broken so that the doors cannot be locked (not nice if you are with 2 families are in 1 house, a child was even locked in a bathroom because of this), a wardrobe is about to collapse (which also happened, the door fell out), the cupboards in the kitchen are hanging crooked, the laminate or tarpaulin is loose, a bathroom upstairs has little water pressure, so you have a miniscule trickle of water, chairs are falling apart, wallpaper is peeling, cove near the curtains is falling apart and there is an unbearable smell of sewage coming from the laundry room on a regular basis, probably from the wells that have already been taped. the mattresses of all beds except 1 very very soft with pits and the pillows are not actually pillows. Everyone had problems with their back and neck, even the children. The house is also not really clean, in all corners and behind doors still dirt and dust on the floor. And the biggest annoyance was that the TV did not work (NL TV did not) and that there was no WiFi as it was stated. The WiFi signal is so bad that it cannot be used. We immediately received a Chromecast from the manager on the first evening after he had spent an hour with the satellite, but he could not connect to the WiFi either, so unfortunately. If you book this house with 2 families: the house is noisy, keep this in mind. In short: the price-quality ratio is not right. House needs maintenance.

This house used as a base during a weekend motorcycle ride in the beautiful surroundings of Winterberg. In the immediate vicinity of the house there are two restaurants where it was gorgeous.
