The surrounding mountainous landscape is ideal for hiking and cycling, e.g. through the impressive Gorges de la Nesque. Various lavender routes lead from Sault, 20 kilometres away, through the typical landscape of the Provençal high plateau. From Mont Ventoux (1912 m) you can enjoy a marvellous view. Day trips can be planned to Avignon, the Camargue and the Mediterranean coast.
