We feel very comfortable here with the Schmidt family! The apartment is rustically furnished as described and how we love it! The rooms are very spacious, carefully furnished and very chic. Gerd and Viola Schmidt are very hospitable, warm people without being intrusive. Their need is that the guests feel completely at ease. We enjoy the quiet location, the proximity to countless hiking opportunities and can only recommend this accommodation.

It was our second vacation in the Gläsersberg apartment with the Schmidt family. This time we were again very satisfied with our accommodation. The apartment is well equipped and absolutely child-friendly. We have seldom met such lovely and kind hosts. We couldn't visit all of our excursion destinations on this holiday either and so we will come back to Langenbach next year. We look forward to it and can recommend the apartment to everyone.

We were kindly received by the owner of the house. Cottage was very neat, clean and equipped with all equipment, a large playing field for the children and a beautiful location. Only downside was the many mosquitoes and flies in the house. We had a lot of problems with that on the first day. The next day bought funds for and after that we had no more problems.

This apartment is fully equipped. It is located in a rural valley. We have several evenings cozy with the owners, while enjoying a beer, looked at the sky. In the immediate vicinity you can walk well. Also, "the evening you can still take a walk on the hills. From here we have visited include the great cities of Weimar, Eisenach, Coburg and Bamberg.

Beautiful holiday, everything neatly in order, only for tall people it is occasionally careful not to bump your head on some slanting. Very hospitable owners. Beautiful green surroundings, many hiking opportunities, but a lot of climbing, but good to do.

We had a nice holiday at the Schmidt family. Mr. and Mrs. Schmidt are very hospitable people with whom we go through every night as the day while enjoying a beer and schnapps. We even spent some time with them gebarbecueed.Het apartment is well maintained but not very big by the sloping roof because you do not o vacation is to sit inside is no probleem.Langenbach especially recommended if you like to hike or cycling (or down very steep and far), we every day went out by car and then Langenbach is not an ideal base.

The holidays in Thuringia with Gerhardt and Viola is actually the fifth season .... because according to Gerhardt, there are five seasons .... spring summer autumn and winter Urlaub ... you can for nature to Thuringia and or the nice towns (eg Erfurt). The cottage is suitable for families but also for friends couples (2 pair) ... in short, a aanrader.Ik however, voted against Schmidt family indicated that they have a little note, and that was the WiFi ... his good friend would improve here bring .... and when you arrive you will be invited around the first weeks of May to socialize bbq for the birthday of the host ...

We enjoyed our holiday in the Thuringian Forest. The first day there was Puppenfestival Neustadt / Sonneberg, an annual event with markets and fairs on antique dolls, bears and toys. Fine to visit from Langenbach, where we had rented from the friendly, helpful family Schmidt! Apartment We also have the Thuringer Wald driven through small villages viewed a train journey made by mountain railway in Schwartatal the Feengrotten viewed in Saalfeld and beautiful cities visited as Erfurt, Weimar and Nuremberg. Impressive and astonishing was our visit to Buchenwald concentration camp .... That does not leave you so loose and remains a lesson for everyone. Remember and think about your own values, your attitude towards others ... It was like a holiday with a special edge ...

Our stay lasted ten days. The cottage is located in the Thuringian Forest. The A roads towards Erfurt Coburg or are close (8km) and the baker (3km) and large supermarkets (10km). It is a great base for trips to Bavaria (Coburg and Bamburg) and of course in Thuringia (Erfurt, Weimar, Fulda, Gotha, etc.). The landlord is very friendly and very welcoming. If you love drinking beer than you to speak every night contact him. The cottage is clean and looks like new and is fully equipped. The cottage is located on a farm fixed but here you only notice early in the morning when everyone of what is going to work. The old farmer (the father of owner) has three horses. More. From this apartment you can directly lopen.De different routes owners are very friendly and hulpvaardig.Op approx 1 hour drive to visit such as Erfurt, Eisenach and Weimar.We have us in the week we were not bored are several beautiful cities . We had a balcony and a nice terrace on the ground floor. The only downside we found was that you looked directly at a large parking lot from the balcony. Outside you looked at it "green ". There was no noise from the parking lot.

We 5 (2 adults and 3 children under 11 years) have felt very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and have wonderful way to help. A wonderful accommodation, less suitable for 4 adults (too small). Schmidt family are very welcoming and open people. The accommodation is an excellent base for sporting activities for bikers and hikers. The eastern German influences in the neighborhood still noticeable.
