Brilliant hosts Jorge was extremely helpful and we were made to feel very much at home, the property is well located with easy reach of the main tourist spots.
The quinta is secluded and offers plenty of space particularly for our dog, the accommodation is confortable and has everything you need for a stay holiday we love it and will return

A lovely house within beautiful gardens. There are two rental houses and the house of the landlords. The landlords are very nice! A beautiful pool with sunbathing area is also part of the complex. We came with a dog. The whole property is fenced. The three dogs of the landlord family got along very well with our smaller dog. For someone who doesn't get along very well with dogs, the rental houses are rather nothing. We can recommend the house with a clear conscience. Two years ago we went on vacation in the other rental house and this house was really good.

Also this second time we stayed here it was lovely. We were now in the other cottage on the property. The grounds on which the houses are located are heavenly, the owners Maria and Carlos are very friendly and helpful. Maria regularly brought us eggs from her own chickens and string beans from the vegetable garden. You have to like dogs, because there are also three small adventurous dogs who came to visit us regularly, but listened carefully when we sent them away. We made friends with Pascale, Fred and Bart. The area is not touristy and beautiful if you like peace and quiet. There are beautiful trips and there are also many opportunities for beautiful walks. The kitchen is small, but almost every day we went somewhere to eat a nice fish at lunchtime. With pain in our hearts we left for the Netherlands after 2 weeks.

The cottage was a delightful getaway! We loved the communal pool and the serene garden, It was perfect for our family of four, and the kids had a blast playing outside, The nearby Ponte de Lima town offered charming shops and restaurants, making our stay even more enjoyable

Carlos and Maria make sure that you feel right at home. They like to tell you what the best places to visit are, where you can eat well and are always ready for you, just for a chat. Maria occasionally brings nice fresh eggs, fruit and vegetables from their own estate. The cottage is small, but fully equipped and is cleaned weekly. Plus is that there is also a washing machine, especially if you are a little longer there. The estate is beautiful, you imagine yourself at a resort. On the estate there is another house, so you 'share' the environment with other guests. The pool is beautiful and also suitable for small children. Being a dog lover is a must, because the 2 cute dogs who walk around like to come along for a hug or a dog biscuit. In terms of environment you have everything in the neighborhood. Culture, day at the beach, adventure or walk through the forest everything is about half an hour away from the house. We have in any case enjoyed the holiday very much.

Apartments in historic buildings, in a beautiful, very well-kept garden with swimming pool. Romantic setting / surroundings. Friendly, welcoming owners, who speak Spanish well, are also good at speaking Spanish. Only the woman speaks English enough. Location is difficult to find and detailed directions can be entered via Belvilla or GPS coordinates in a navigation system. Indispensable. The beds are hard and relatively narrow (but the latter may be just one plus for young couples).

The cottage is cute and clean. Very sweet host and wife. Nice reception with a bottle of wine and pastries from the region. 2 nice dogs that watch the food from your mouth. Very nice environment. Very quiet with nice pool. We had a good time with 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Everything you need is there. Only not very suitable for tall people. And too little to do for adolescents. The bed is Poor and very small. Low kitchen block. Because it is cool in the evening it is a shame that you do not have a nice living room. The garden furniture is somewhat outdated and small. fun for family with 1 or 2 small children. For people who love the beach this side of Portugal is not very suitable. Very cold water. Well nice coastline. Porto and Vigo (Spain) are very beautiful cities and very worthwhile. The coast of Vigo is slightly warmer if you still want to go to the beach.

Casa da Adega fully met our expectations and needs. A lovingly maintained property in which history is visible is a small aqueduct, remains of an old stone walls and large rolling. The owners live on site and it is very nice they gave us all sorts of tips and information. Nice base for fine towns in the area.

A prime location, where you can relax. Too bad the owner has nice 8 dogs, 4 of which, incidentally, sweet dogs, constantly roaming. Despite his offer to "lock" them, which we declined out of courtesy, their bark is (especially "at night) annoying and unavoidable against.

A very warm and welcoming owners. Small "but appreciated touches like a bottle of wine, a flower, or a cake with coffee. At the least problem a prompt solution. Tip from the houseowner
Casa da Adega is a beautifull cottage framed in the Quinta de Chão de Zil a 9 acre property spoken in extremely ancient legends. It has a monumental entrance, which is accompanied by a manor house of the sixteenth century, which is coupled with a garden of 2 acre, and the largest collection of camellias in the north of the country with more than 400 plants, which provide an explosion of color in winter.
Inside the property you will find all the charm and mystery of Alto Minho.
