Smooth contacts dealing with landlords, quick responses and smoothly arrival, we were allowed our musical earlier post in the house so that we had to leave in the car zitten.Huis very spacious, neat, perfect as omschreven.Rustig village, beautiful environment.

Everything was fine. Extensive kitchen utensils. When we arrived, the fireplace was already lit. Cozy. Mrs. Sabine said this wood is free and afterwards it costs 15€ for refilling. We ordered a load twice because it was so cozy in the evening, so we thought that would be an additional 30€, but when she made the bill, it turned out to cost a total of 60€. 3 times 20€. Can she just change this? It clearly states on the papers 15€ per load. We didn't get anything back from our deposit and had to pay extra for our 9 nights, which we found quite a lot since we were usually only there in the evenings and out for the rest of the time. But all in all, we still had a very good holiday. I didn't even want to mention this fact. But a few days ago, we received a text asking why we took a duvet. Which we definitely did not do. We called back. The duvet they meant was just lying downstairs on the bed. It wasn't to our liking. She then went to check and had overlooked it. So everything was fine. But still, a nasty experience for us.

This is a nice traditional house with a lot of space and friendly owners. The house has a lot of bedrooms, 2 toilets and 2 bathrooms, which makes it perfect for larger groups. We had a very pleasant stay.

Only comment for other guests is that cleaning is not included, even though it says it is included. So there is additional expense - were charged for cleaning/wood/electricity etc. Other than this - we had a great time. Description should be corrected/brought up-to-date.

We were very well received and shown around the house. The accommodation was perfect for our family. The area is quiet, little wooded, open. A recommended brasserie des eaux vives, nice tour and tasting of 2 tasty beers in the adjacent village. Small specialties are also available.

We had a weekend away with family. When we arrived the fireplace was on, by the madam of the house we were shown in a nice Christmas market where we went the other day. The house is very spacious and everything is there, to be repeated!

It was a large and fully furnished house, however, the house is not clean. In fact, under the long cabinet in the living room, there was a dead mouse. We therefore do not understand the cleaning costs.

A beautifully furnished and equipped house. New modern kitchen with all necessary appliances (including induction cooktop and fryer) that does not detract from the authenticity of the former stable that the house actually is. The house is the middle one in a row of three, and although it is somewhat noisy from and to the neighbors (permanent residents) on both sides, this was not bothersome in our experience. In the (fully paved) garden, it is lovely to sit, despite its location on the main road. (But in a fairly remote village, so it is definitely not busy.) With the BBQ next to it, a great evening can be enjoyed there. The owner lives in the street behind and directly opposite the back door and is friendly and involved. The church next to the row of houses is no longer active as a church but is, as we understood, used as a cultural center. So no crowds in front of the door on Sunday mornings! The bells in the bell tower are still functional. They chime every hour and at 8:00 PM they ring a bit longer. However, the tower is located on the other side of the building relative to the house and does not sound very loud. We brought our dog. Walking her was always a bit of a hike since there is almost no greenery in the village itself. Just outside the village (three streets down the slope. Note; you have to come back up again ;-)) is a long but dead-end side street where dogs can run free. Two cars can be parked in front of the door, but since that piece of asphalt is shared with the neighbors, they quickly feel (subjectively) in the way. And since you don’t want to keep looking at your car while enjoying the garden, we regularly parked in the square behind the church, 50 meters away. That is quite manageable. We had a great stay in Gymnée. It is a bit further away (half an hour drive) from all (tourist) activities, but that also brings peace. And you can enjoy lovely walks in the immediate surroundings.

The house is located in a quiet village. The forest is close by. There is a nice garden, the garden table is a little small for 9 people. The house is large enough with enough sleeping space but very poorly insulated. You hear everything is the whole house. With baby's this is a problem. The owner is very comfortable, you will feel at home right away.

Pretty nice house, attractive and complete, but really in the middle of nowhere. Hostess is very friendly but does not speak a word of English or Dutch, so with my little French I got there. Firewood is apparently required to purchase and costs 5 euros per bag more suddenly, so 20 instead of 15 euros. Unfortunately, the promised baby box was not present, a little bit, but it cannot simply be lifted down. This was really very much of a problem with a 2.5 month old baby
