We had a wonderful stay in the cozy chalet and lacked nothing. The cottage is clean, and you immediately feel at home due to the atmospheric decor, relaxed chairs, the sun-drenched terrace, and the beautiful view over the wooded valley. During the cold evenings (which you still have in April), it is lovely to sit by the wood stove and feel the warmth. The chalet has plenty of books, games, etc., to keep you entertained. But there are also plenty of things to visit in the area, such as a castle, a steam train, and a boat lift. You can immerse yourself in French life by picking up your own baguette at the nearby bakery. Finally, it was nice that we were warmly and personally welcomed by the owner, who is eager to help make your stay as pleasant as possible.

First of all, we were welcomed by friendly owners who speak very good German and English. They explain everything carefully and have time for a friendly chat. They do not live nearby but you can always call them. The view is beautiful and the sun is long on the terrace where you can enjoy quietly. The house is complete but a bit full. Bedroom is spacious with a large bed which is wonderful. You have upstairs and downstairs a toilet and a bath (somewhat old) and a great shower in the basement with a nice washing machine and dryer. The area is beautiful but very quiet really relaxation. People also often speak German. The bakery at the end of the village there you can order bread and drink a delicious cup of coffee which is roasted by the local roastery and where they also make whiskey, rum and other drinks. There are also some places of interest in the area, but otherwise not so touristy. We loved to stay despite the less beautiful weather.
