Great home for grandparents brother me and our 4 children (1-11years old) and two dogs! great kitchen, lovely home and each room has its own en suite shower! Plus an extra bath and big shower! Lovely outdoor space and spectacular views.

Arrival and departure at our convenience, excellent welcome! The house is well equipped for 14 people (dishes, glasses, equipment, pots etc.), it has character and is full of nooks and crannies to keep everyone occupied! The +: billiards, jacuzzi, lounge with wood fire, space, excellent Wi-Fi connection, walks, small grocery store a few hundred meters away (order your croissants and pains au chocolat from breakfast !). The -: the house needs to be refreshed (but that does not detract from its comfort), a WC at the "cellar / jacuzzi" level would have been practical, and ... the fanciful switches (no need to try to understand what switch off which lamp), but that's part of the charm of the house :-) A word of advice: ask the owner to show you the album of the origin of the gîte, the transformation is surprising!

The holiday home is exactly what we needed for our family getaway, It was clean and well-equipped, providing everything from a cozy fireplace to a fully stocked kitchen, The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having multiple bathrooms, which made mornings a breeze, The location was peaceful, nestled in the woods, yet close enough to the town center to explore, A few minor issues with the heating were promptly addressed by the owner, who was very friendly, A practical choice for anyone looking for a relaxing retreat

With a group of young adults we had a great week. Nice house where you can get lost in beautiful, lots of crazy alleys and corners. Outside you have a lot of space, a BBQ and a large table. The wellness area and movie theater are also a big plus.

Beware of navigation via Google Maps. This sometimes sends you via a gravel / mud path over the hill instead of the "normal" road. First keep the village (Weris) and then the address. Furthermore, the arrival is fine, the owner was already waiting for us (but only speaks French).

We were kindly received in a great house. We were just "young people off", so we asked if it would be a problem to rent this house. This was not a problem. The house is excellent for us. Spacious set up so that everyone can do his thing and can withdraw as necessary, jacuzzi was lovely, nice outdoor area where you can bbq "and. Also in the area there is plenty to do all within fifteen minutes / half hour to drive in. All in all a top holiday!

The owner was already present on arrival, very friendly and helpful, the jacuzzi was filled and heated ready for use, it looked good and clean, the beds were good, two-person rooms had private shower and sink, nice area from the house, we lacked nothing. Nice environment with hiking trails o.a along the Dolmens and Menhirs, which were mainly used by many hikers during the weekend. There is one convenience store, for a more extensive range in Barvaux (8 Km)

Fantastic house! many doors and corridors where you can get lost endlessly D We had brought lamps ourselves since previous visitors had indicated that many lamps were broken, but that was not the case with us happy. The location of the house is wonderful on a large field and wooded area. The neighbors (owner?) Are on the other side of the house, where you never actually come and do not look out. The house has everything to entertain you both inside and outside table football, sauna, cinema (tip take your Chromecast, that works very well on the Wifi there), pool table, barbecues. The Wi-Fi signal is particularly good and can be accessed outside.

A very nice house with lots of spaces and a playful layout. We were here with 8 small children and they have great fun. The jacuzzi is very nice, even though not all beams work well. Also with us the fire alarm was triggered at night without any reason, something may be done about it. Furthermore, a beautiful, complete house with spacious bedrooms. The host is friendly and gives a good tour at the beginning. At cleaning costs, costs for electricity, gas, water and wood (for the beautiful fireplace) we were in a week in the winter about 400 euros lost. The environment is very nice, in Durbuy was also a nice Christmas market. All in all it was a nice holiday.

We have spent a wonderful 2 weeks in the summer holidays in this house! The owner who you receive unfortunately only speaks French, but was already waiting for us at the attached house. He has very kindly showed us around the house and with hands and feet you will get along fine. As soon as he's gone, you'll be lost for the first few hours, because the layout is very different. We really liked that. It's true that not all burners on the stove work. That's a shame, but really not a disaster because 5 of the 8 do work and you also have a microwave, large oven and 2 BBQs. I have read in previous reviews that the house would not be clean on arrival. When we arrived it was fine and you could still smell the cleaning agent. Yes, there are still some cobwebs here and there, but that's all. It is a gigantic house and the price for the final cleaning is really very reasonable. I don't expect shiny walls and that doesn't match the atmosphere of this old building at all. It was really clean enough for us, we never had the idea that we were in a dingy holiday home. The garden is huge and so is the roof in the garden where you can sit in the shade. During our stay we have been here alternately with 4 to 12 people and it always felt spacious, with plenty of opportunities to retreat. What we did regret is that the billiard table (not a pool table, be aware of that) is not heated. As a result, the table does not run great. However, that has not stopped us from playing billiards every night. Neat choice and balls are present. We had such a good time that we are considering booking this house again next year. It is ideal with a group of friends or family, also because 4 of the 6 bedrooms have their own shower and sink. Maybe useful for coming guests: We need about 375 euros for a stay of 2 weeks in the summer
