The owner lives across the street and came straight to the key and gave a tour of the house. The house is really nice and there was nothing missing. Everything was fine.The home state, etc. in a small quiet village with no shops. The area is worth the it.I would recommend to anyone.

Wonderfully quiet location! When we even got 20cm of snow it was a real winter wonderland. Fine wood stove. Only minus is that there is a pump running 24/7 that you hear in the house. Would be the only thing the owner can still solve. Also the sauna is a must if you come home from a cold walk. And do not forget to have some nice beers in the house!

We were warmly received by the owner. The house is new and clean. Lovely sofas and dining chairs. Kitchen very compleet.Het was unclear just what it needed bedding. The two single beds both have one mattress and a duvet, so double bed nodig.Jammer that there is no washing machine, there is room enough in the pantry. Especially in combination with the lovely sauna would be nice. Houffalize is nearby for groceries. The village itself represents really nothing voor.Plaatsen as Durbuy, La Roche, Bouillon (medieval festivals) Bastogne are worth visiting. And canoeing is worthwhile for young and old!

Upon arrival we were given a tour of the cottage, in French. That is not our strong point and she went for it in English if we did not quite understand it. The house is exactly as it is in the picture. The beds were lovely, and a nice bathroom and sauna make it complete. If we want to visit this area again, we would certainly go for this house. It was perfect in terms of decor.

We had a wonderful holiday. The weather was excellent so that helps. It is a beautiful spacious villa so everyone had enough space. We were well received and communication during the stay was also in order! Of course I would also like to mention the less good things. I should have read the reviews a little better beforehand because that does help .... I'm certainly not a nitpicker, but I want to mention these points anyway. - The house was not really clean. It was clean at first sight, but when you put your stuff there and start cooking, you see that not everything is really clean. The cupboards were dirty. Dirty glasses, cutlery, ... We first had to wash this before we could start. None of that is a problem for us, but I think 80 EUR for a cleaning is a lot. Then you expect it to be spick and span ... - The dishwasher is a bit defective. The door opens way too far down and you have trouble rolling the bottom drawer out and in. The door also shoots open so you can sometimes hurt yourself. Have a technician make this and it bolts new right away... Small effort in my opinion. - You will be prompted to sort. No problem at all. But they only supply 1 bag of each. We are in the villa with 8 people and eat and drink there in the afternoon and evening. So there was way too much washing up for these bags. They can safely put a number of bags somewhere so that this problem does not arise. We sent a message and they delivered 2 extra bags for green waste, but you have to walk for it again.... - The rooms are fine. Only in the summer you are awake together with the light. There are simply no blackout curtains. There are shutters (in some rooms just white ones) that let the light through completely. This really shouldn't be allowed... Hang a decent curtain so you can sleep.... - The villa is very nicely presented on

We had arrived earlier than arrival time mentioned but Mrs was in the house next door inside and it was not a problem. The key was reached and our vacation could begin. A beautiful house with everything on it. A lovely garden where you can enjoy the beautiful walks you can make there. One of the best recommendations is the chocolate factory Cyril in Samree, very nice people !!

Have had two wonderful weeks in this nice house! We were welcomed by the owner. We did not speak French, but you are coming together everywhere and it was clear. The cottage is just the same as in the pictures! Lots of space, cozy and everything you need. The garden is lovely and we could sit in the sun from morning till evening. You can use for a fee, there is a lot to do in the area, the village itself does not matter, there is a new swing device within walking distance. We were here with 2 young children (3y and 9mnd) and many can walk with kids in the Carrying bag, went to Monde Sauvage (wildlife park), swam at Maboge beach, climbing ruins, indoor playground and much more. In the house there are many leaflets of sights, but you can also enjoy the rest here! Great with a washing machine, cot, chair and playground in the garden)

A beautiful and modern home! We arrived a little early, but after a call the house owner arrived immediately. He speaks French and was very helpful. Show the property and explain where necessary. The property has everything you need. The sauna is very tasty. And the lawn at the back is very nice for the kids.We have been to Houffalize and La Roche. Unfortunately, it was not the best weather and many shops were closed this week, but we have been enjoying ourselves.

Upon arrival, the first thing to notice was how spacious it is. The accommodation is very spacious, practically furnished and the quality is quite good. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet.

Cottage was good, especially for a family with children. Spacious, which is good. Environment is somewhat more difficult with small children, check carefully if there are many things that the little ones (read 2- / 3-year olds) also have something to. Tip for the administrator put something from a folder with information about things in the neighborhood or something. It is always nice to have that sort of thing at a glance, and there is always something in between that you did not find out on the internet anyway. All in all, we had a wonderful week!

Stylish Holiday Home in Houffalize with Sauna, Patio, Garden
This stylish holiday home with 4 bedrooms is located near Houffalize. It's ideal for families with children or a group of 8 and it features a very spacious garden and a sauna.
In Houffalize, you'll find shops and restaurants. The area around Houffalize is perfect for active tourists �it has more than 100 kilometres of hiking and mountain bike trails. The brewery in Achouffe is 7 km away and the Rocks of Le H�rou are 14 km from the city. The bison farm in Recogne is a short drive away. Durbuy the smallest city in the world at a distance of 47 km is also worth a visit.
The holiday home is cosy and comfortable and is equipped with all modern conveniences. The wonderful wide view through the large windows in the living room is very nice. In favourable weather, you can enjoy a fine glass of wine or Belgian beer in the evening sun at the patio.
Check-in before 4 PM is not possible. The check-in time begins from 4-6 PM and check-out can be done anytime between 9-10 AM.
A surcharge of €20 will be applied if the arrival time is not respected.
