Nice cozy cottage. Very quiet area a few kilometers from the sea. The location is in the middle of many museums and historic places in connection with D-Day. The good care of the owner was greatly appreciated.

A cozy little house, fully equipped kitchen, and a huge garden (you could call it a park). A car is a must, as the house is quite remote. There is a lot to see in the area and everything is accessible for dogs. In short, a recommendation for people with dogs.

a beautiful little house with plenty of space outside and our dog could run freely in the completely enclosed large garden. A cozy little house but big enough for 3 people. Close to the invasion beaches and we visited both Omaha Beach and Utah Beach and also paid a visit to the Airborne Museum in Sainte Mere Eglise; a lovely village just 10 minutes drive from the house. We also went to the American cemetery which is very impressive and makes you reflective. We also spent a day at Mont Saint Michel; a bit further to drive (140 KM) but definitely worth it. All in all, very satisfied with this fantastic stay in Normandy!!

We had already heard from the owner via e-mail that the key was in the door. A nice welcome gift in the form of 2 special D-Day 75-year beers with a bag of caramel sweets was very thoughtful! The next day I met the super nice owners. The cottage was lovely and simple, but everything you needed was there. On the 1st floor 2 spacious bedrooms with good blinding, so that it was "pitch dark at night. We found it very pleasant. There is a private lockable gate to completely close off the huge piece of fenced ground. Lovely for our dog. The very large grounds for the chickens, 2 geese and a funny peacock it was super fun to watch and listen to when you were eating outside on the terrace, went to the large beach of Utahbeach a few times and swam in the warm! visited the town of St. Mère Église and nearby Pointe du Hoc with its high cliffs and the beautiful blue sea (where dogs are not allowed) and the remains of Atlantic Wal, the bunkers and places where the German tanks super impressive. It is definitely a place to return to! We enjoyed this holiday home, the large piece of land and the crowing of the rooster! An absolute must !!

We received a friendly welcome and the landlords were very helpful. The house really has everything and the garden is great. Our dogs had a nice run. The beds slept well and you can completely darken all the windows.

Great house with a huge garden. Nobody in the neighborhood who is bothering you. We are used to bringing a lot of things (how often have you already bought and left detergent?), But that turned out to be completely unnecessary. There is really a lot present. Bad luck on the way there made us arrive late in the evening, but that was no problem at all. The owner, who lives next door, stopped by the next day, as the key was simply on the door upon arrival. In the dark the house was a bit harder to find, because there is no street lighting and it is really in the countryside. This is the first time that we are considering going back to the same place again! Really had a great holiday. Our dog all the way !! Free in a large enclosed garden and also allowed to go loose on the beach.

House with a lot of privacy, large private grounds, also suitable for small dogs as the garden has a good fence. The terrace at the house provides shade in the afternoon. Lots of convenience in the kitchen, everything is present and also functions. Beds are very well maintained including memory foam mattress. Supermarket U plus drive is 4.7 km away with refueling facilities. The vet is next to the supermarket. Friendly welcome. Dutch spoken.

Good reception, very nice environment. Cottage has everything you want and is very cool thanks to its thick walls. A great place for those who want to get the beaches and feelings to realize how the D Day landings ended. Top and top if you have a dog. In short, perfect. If you like reading ... and your french is good? Then you have to stay here for 2 months ... so many books are there.

We have been to this house several times. In May 2016, and in May and September 2018, and now in September 2023 for the 4th time. (Read the relevant reviews from those years) We actually have nothing more to add to this. Peace, privacy, and a friendly owner, and a large enclosed garden, where the dog cannot normally leave. As usual, we enjoyed it extremely well, otherwise we would not be here for the 4th time.

Very nice house with lots of space around the door. If you like a quiet environment, this is the place-to-be. Everything is there in the house. Nicely and cosily furnished. Upon arrival, the rosé with Japanese mix was ready. Outside all space for sunbathing, frisbee and badminton or barbeque. We have had a great time!

Cozy, cozy cottage with a good ligging.Wij were 2 children and 1 dog with 2 adults. The domain is really tip tip for a dog, a completely finished garden so we were comfortable when he went on wandel.Er spacious bedrooms are present. We especially did not like the bathroom very clean. In the kitchen replacement of cutlery and cooking pots is the order. Fine owner who knows a lot about the region.
