The property was clean and spacious with everything we could ask for - the gas ran out and was promptly replaced when we advised the caretaker, who also took the time and effort to warn us about scorpions, which was very much appreciated!

A clear directions needed to find the house. GPS in the rental car could do anything with it because we just got the GPS coordinates. With the help of friendly villagers we could eventually house vinden.Wifi not found! Continue nothing but good fine pool, air conditioning in the house was top. I would have some better pictures "Taking pictures of the house and the pool. The reality is better than the current photo 's show uitschijnen.Prijs quality is definitely in proportion!

Prima holiday home with excellent swimming pool. The accommodation is very difficult to find and an adventure to drive there. A small point is that it's almost impossible to sit outside, many fly by day and at dusk a lot of mosquitoes. But to see such a beautiful starry sky, take the mosquitoes with it. Ideal for people who keep calm.

Despite me and my family really enjoyed being at Quinta do Couto, we have some important complaints to make, which were not solved during the period of our stay and persisted during the entire week we spent there:
a) The TV channels only worked a couple of hours a day, with no apparent reason;
b) The internet sign was nonexistent, which caused me grave inconveniences, since my work depends on me being online most of the time;
c) None of the beds had sheets (problem solved during the second day of our stay, with the housemaid, after some pressure on the owner and several phone calls);
d) The air conditioning malfunctioned in the living room (if turned on long enough, it would pour water into the ground);

Unfortunately on arrival showed broken filter can make use of swimming pool, therefore shortly after virtually gone away because the repair could take many more weeks. Furthermore delightful surroundings peace and privacy. If pool is made, I would definitely go again.

We enjoyed our vacation in which real cottage. interior is neutral - bathrooms (two available) fine - clean - pool is certainly okay - the route is a real country road but also a good indicator that you really lies secluded - you messages you here what opvoorzien - friendly welcome by a French-speaking Maria - only minus is that there is no wifi is present although this is indicated on Belvilla state that it is present. Sorry so if you want to read the newspaper or online must check in online for your flight. Nearest wifi is to the church in Vimiero itself some few kilometers of your lies.

Very nice and quiet. Kitchen is elementary. No towels for the zwembad.Afgelegen (bumpy road) but all the privacy and yet beautiful view of the natuur.Heel spacious and nice rooms, good beds (not too hard) .No light pollution, so good to admire the stars.

Very friendly, we were received. 3 weeks have flown by what is beautiful. From the house you could immediately start walking. Hiking trails are well marked. The house was very cozy and immaculately clean. The bedrooms were spacious and the mattresses were fine. The two bathrooms and three toilets were fine. The kitchen was complete and the cozy living room, the washer and dryer came good with three children. Outside plenty of space for sunbathing. We have had a superb and highly recommended for other guests.

It was a wonderful week in August, quiet in the house and in the area. Vimiero is a very small village with very limited possibilities for shopping. You will all be in the area but you need definitely need a car. Evora was a bit disappointing but the discovery was Mavao, the eagle nest. Definitely worth it. Also Lisbon and Syntra (near Lisbon) are absolutely worth to visit The caretaker of the cottage was very friendly and helpful. In the beginning, the pool was not 100% clear but she immediately made every effort to make this. OK

Upon arrival, no tap water, pool unusable (filthy and inadequate water), not cleaned house. After many phone calls and more than 24 hours. after arriving back there was water and a few days later the pool was back usable. We are sorry ...

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta-do-Couto. You can enjoy the tranquility and it is also a great base for excursions in the area. The house is equipped with every comfort. Super Good beds! Lovely pool. We spent a number of holidays in Portugal. But this was our first encounter with Alentejo! Beautiful area, good wines, good food. In Vimieiro the restaurant Antiga Moagem an absolute must! Very friendly hosts!!
