The administrator of the white Rössel came to the agreed upon time to give the keys and gave a brief introduction to the kitchen equipment, as well as where to find something - from the baker to the garbage cellar. The holiday house is very well equipped and leaves hardly any wishes open. In Ürzig, next to a baker, there is also a butcher's shop and a pharmacy, as well as numerous wine cellars and broom shops by local winemakers who are worth a visit. In addition to a steamboat trip on the Moselle, you can walk through the vineyards or visit a nearby climbing garden - it is for young to old something for everyone.

Although it was cold outside, the hostess provided warmth inside, placing a Christmas tree and Christmas lights in the dining room and stube made for a lovely atmosphere !!! Thanks for that!! The accommodation is very suitable for such a large group, we were 14 adults and 2 kinderen.because it was Christmas, many shops in the immediate vicinity were close.Inside we have good entertainments.

Very nice house, all the amenities of a hotel. The bar area was super ok cozy to have a drink. Nice that every bedroom has its own bathroom. The village is beautiful, with the attractive buildings and the Moselle. Surrounded by the vines. There are a few restaurants in the village, great German food. A village further on was a cozy Christmas market. The early checkout on Sunday at 10.00 was disappointing. They also expect the guests to do a lot themselves; make and remove beds. Empty trash cans in all rooms, put trash on the street when they arrive.

Unfortunately there was slight confusion regarding our arrival date/time despite it being confirmed and this led to some delay in getting into the property, but once this was resolved we had no problems. The accommodation is as advertised and suited our group of twelve adults. The place, though slightly past its prime regarding decor, is comfortable and adequately stocked for self catering. Beds were comfortable and there was lots of hot water. There is a large cellar for bicycle storage. The town is very quiet, but there are restaurants within easy walking distance. Nearby is a landing stage to catch a boat up or down the Mosel. Lots of free parking places also within an easy walk.

Very nice holiday. Very nice that each room has a private bathroom. Well furnished with nice bar and sitting area. We are sorry that there is no sofa present is.Enig flaw should be leave the house on Sunday, 10 am, already at 9:30 the owner was there to check everything. Went quiet inside the rooms while we were at breakfast. At 9:45 am we were all outside. This was very unfortunate. We had hoped to be packed full at 10am and first breakfast together.

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und benötigt ganz sicher eine Renovierung. Für unsere Ansprüche war es ausreichend. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet, sodass wir uns selbst verköstigen konnten. Die Zimmer waren sauber, Betten frisch bezogen. Für zwei Nächte war es absolut okay. Darüber hinaus würde ich einen längeren Aufenthalt nicht hier buchen.
Die Gegend ist in jedem Fall eine Reise wert.

Stay 1 week 12 people 16.10 to 23.10.2021 First the positive: That was very good for our family with 6-7 double rooms used for grandparents, parents and 4 children aged 14-18 and the very good atmosphere in the super dining room (old tavern ) was unusual and highly recommended. The house is quite old, worn, a bit musty, and everywhere and everywhere not timely. Leaky toilets and showers and damp walls were due to the age and urgently need to be brought up to current standards. But that didn't hurt us too much and nobody complained. The house is recommended for a week if the demands are lowered accordingly. Unfortunately, this accommodation is not recommended. It really needs to be renovated or completely refurbished here. You don't even know where to start. From a non-functioning heating system to inadequate equipment, everything is really bad here! The house is definitely the "one could make something of it" category. For our group consisting of 3 families (7 adults and 7 young people) it was "perfect". Great location - in the middle of town, across from the tourist information center, surrounded by vineyards and only a few minutes' walk to restaurants, wineries, bakers and butchers. Enough space, many rooms with shower / toilet and a cozy guest room would not be there: cold in the whole house, windows / doors drafty, heating apparently defective, musty smell in the room parts. Not / badly functioning sanitary facilities, showers only boiling hot or ice cold, 2 showers could only be turned off again with father's help, carpets, seat cushions and bedding had to be cleaned - very unhygienic and dingy, WiFi does not work, too few dishes. Whisk, spatula, large cups, salad bowl, etc. not available at all. Cooker and extractor partly defective, window in the kitchen cannot be opened. The "neighbors" reported to us that the house has changed hands countless times since it was a hotel and restaurant has closed - unfortunately none of the former owners had any desire to invest anything.

Ürzig "Zum Weißen Rössel" Positive: Sufficient space available, guest room with enough seats and functioning cooling. In the kitchen, the fridge, freezer, and stove are fine. The house is suitable as a starting point for hikes. Negative: Everything is pretty shabby, beds are partly dirty, duvets and pillows urgently need to be replaced. The extractor in the kitchen takes getting used to, built (probably self-made) for people with a maximum height of 150 cm. After examining the filters, we no longer dared to use the extractor hood. The existing cookware and cutlery are a joke, dirty and sometimes of limited use. 180 € for the final cleaning is appropriate for a house of this size ... if it is done. On request, we did not receive a receipt for the final cleaning either. Unfortunately there was only one key to the house. Overall, one has the impression that the owner is trying to get as much money out as possible and not invest anything.

The ticket said that you should register with the landlord one day before arrival. However, only one AB could be discussed under the number given. So you drove off with a bad feeling and that's how it happened, nobody showed up to hand over the keys. We were now a few cars camping in the narrow streets hoping to unload and were made aware by the nice locals that this is what the "ticket writers" seemed to have specialized in in this place. In a last attempt, we wrote an email and a short time later we got the reply that they would be there in 20 minutes and would bring us the key. I had read in some reviews that the final cleaning and bed linen had to be paid directly, in cash and without a receipt. After a lame attempt on my part to get a receipt, the cleaning lady who was sent to unlock us then explained to me that this was always the case. Hmm, yes of course. To be honest, we were just happy to get warm and that's actually the first plus point of this property. The heating worked well. The second plus was the large lounge. Then we come to the negative: The house is a terribly run-down place. The lovingly built and once run house is in an unbelievably neglected condition. You don't even know where to start. The whole house stinks because the drains and toilets don't seem to be flushed regularly. There is a shared toilet with urinals on the ground floor. No one can climb there because it is impossible to breathe there. Most of the inventory is broken. Room doors cannot be locked. Some of the toilets in the rooms have buckets underneath because they drip. The showers are moldy. House is in a run down condition. Too bad concept fine. The house was not cleaned. Cobwebs everywhere on chairs, tables and in the rooms. For what 180.00 euros. Sanitary facilities were partly unusable. Shower walls, taps on the sinks in the bathrooms and in the kitchen sometimes didn't work. Seat cushions on the chairs and benches were so dirty that you had to be disgusted. Doors in the rooms could not be closed. We have now been there 3 times and will definitely not book this house again. This house in this condition is an impertinence and definitely not to be recommended. Radio was not connected to antenna.

The house is extremely worn and actually no longer for rent. Thank goodness the students didn’t let their good mood be deprived of them and we made the best of it (apart from the condition, the location of the house offers some exciting activities too). The condition of the house in detail: - Musty basic smell - Covers of the chairs in the guest rooms full of stains - Lighting does not deserve the name - Just dim light - Kitchen equipment not suitable for group sizes (for example only a soup ladle) - Pan coatings completely scratched - All toilets, Even those without windows, without functioning ventilation rooms and toilet doors are difficult, if not impossible, to close. It was a nice vacation but certainly with the engine one at radder for too we were walking for round trips but that is not advisable PS for the wi-fi is also a big problem we had booked a week and whole week had no internet so no rides were to search for touring or what to do was we felt sorry for the rest it was ok
