This villa is a solid option if you're looking for a comfortable place near the beach, It was clean and had all the necessary amenities, including a nice pool that we enjoyed after a long day at the beach, The location is convenient too—restaurants and shops are nearby, and Zahara de los Atunes town center is just a couple of kilometers away, While nothing particularly stood out, everything functioned as it should, A practical choice for families or groups

Contrary to what was on the website (now modified), the pool was not open late September and for our children is too wild surf of the Atlantic coast. This was really a disappointment. The house itself feels stale and a number of issues, such as the refrigerator and the washing machine to be replaced. It was opposite our hotel in week four nights live music that lasted until midnight. Please also note that by the end of the season, which is from mid-September, many stores (among others bakery around the corner) close. The complex is well maintained, the caretaker helpful and the location perfect for day trips to the hinterland or larger coastal towns. All in all we had a nice week but we found the price / quality disproportionate in the postseason.

Superb environment Costa La Luz pretty complex. Unfortunately stood administrator would not be there between 1700 and 2000. No aircon poorly cleaned and inexpensive light faded decor. Nice pool, beautiful beach within walking distance.

Wonderful holiday at La Casa Azul. Well located for beach and pool. Little more is the music of the hotel "in the evening. But that is at 12 am" last night. And cleaning could be better (smelled dog, a lot of dust on the floor and kitchen cabinets with fingerprints). Unfortunately, so do yourself a bit expected to get started, but then enjoyed it very much.

Jardines de Zahara is the best of the complexes in Atlanterra - great pool, lovely houses. This house had a double bed in the basement and great patio furniture in the back - really good. Close to Melia hotel so can pick up wifi signal (extra cost).
Noise coming from the road and the Melia hotel. No oven.

Super stay at Casa Azul, with our children and grandchildren! (3 couples and 3 children aged 5 and 2 years). Zahara / Atlanterra is a prime location for those who want to do a variation! Activities At 5 minutes from the beach and if you do not want to bring your own chairs and umbrellas you paying deckchairs (€ 10 for 2 seats + umbrella - we found really no exaggeration!) Right on the beach! Blowing viento de Levante? then there is an excellent pool, with lifeguards who take their job seriously! The coast is also perfect for surfers! Lucky ... like the wind! An hour's drive you also cultural options Cadiz, El Puerto de Santa Maria are worth to visit! A little further you find Seville and Ronda ... beautiful places! Rather what nature? Row then just inland, with the beautiful Andalusian countryside, vast bull and horse farms, small villages, the many walking possibilities (question explanation senderismo). The tourist office in Zahara itself gives good information! Between urbanization where the "Casa Azul" (or how my grandson called our Blue House) is located and Zahara you find along the coast a few Chiringuitos and cozy bars with your feet

Casa Azul is truly a wonderful holiday. The park is large, therefore also has a beautiful large pool, unfortunately only at 12 hours open until 9 o'clock avonds.Het wide beach 2 minutes walk is wonderful, is not suitable for small children because of the high waves of the Atlantic Ocean. Very nice to bodyboarding! The beach in front of the house has some rock plateaus in the sea, below the zand.Restaurantjes or cabanas are not many but a few really nice. A delicious German bakery nearby with blessed bread (not open earlier than 10 hours) The environment is fun! In terms of nature, the interior is really worth a day trip. The white mountain villages are so lovely with all those beautiful churches. The sierra is overwhelming. From Tarifa a few hours with a whale boat along. And truly, you will see plenty of dolphins and various walvissoorten.Tarifa is also nice to walk around. Inside old town with nice restaurants and winkeltjes.Cadiz really a fun day trip waard.Het of this area is that it is so real Spanish, you get almost no other European tourists from! Very much spanish toeristen.Echt nightlife starts very late, and we have no experience with it. Honestly

Tip from the houseowner
Directions: Malaga (Airport) - Zahara de Los Atunes
While you are waiting for your luggage, call Mari Carmen, our concierge, on +34 670 27 68 22 to tell her that you have arrived and what time to meet in Zahara de los Atunes to collect the house keys.
Pick up your luggage, follow the signs for Salida and head to the arrival’s hall or down the ramp for car rental.
From the airport, follow the signs to Algeciras / Cadiz (N340). On the N340, continue straight on past Torremolinos. Just before Fuengirola the road splits up: to the right, the N340 continues along the coast: straight ahead: Paeje (Toll highway) to Algeciras.
Take the Paeje (more expensive but much faster) straight ahead and drive past Fuengirola and Marbella via this toll road (pay 3 x toll at the toll stations) and via 4 tunnels to Algeciras. (Just before Algeciras you can see Gibraltar on your left, exit "La Linea").
At Algeciras the Peaje ends and it becomes N340 again. Follow it through the city towards Tarifa / Cadiz. Follow the N340 through the hills with the hundreds of windmills to Tarifa (at the top of the hill on your left is a lookout with cafe where you can see Morocco on a clear day).
On the N340, do not turn to Tarifa, but continue to Cadiz. Continue the road for about 35 kilometers past the villages of Facinas and Tahivilla until you see the exit sign for Zahara de Los Atunes on your right. Turn left into this road (CA 2221) and follow the road to the end and enter Zahara de Los Atunes via the roundabout.
Drive through the village and follow the signs to ATLANTERRA which take you left through the village towards the new building. You are now driving parallel to the beach past the camping site towards Jardines de Zahara. Continue straight past Pizzeria MamaMia until you see a building on your right with "Grupo Q" on it. Take the first road immediately after this building (in front of the Hotel Melia Atlanterra) and you will drive straight to the blue house. Number A-62. La Casa Azul.
Total time: 2 to 2½ hours depending on driving speed and traffic.
Directions: Seville (Airport) - Zahara de Los Atunes

Pick up your luggage, follow the signs for Salida and go to the arrival’s hall or to car rental.
When leaving the airport, immediately take the (toll) highway to Jerez de la Frontera and Cadiz (Peaje with one toll station). Just before Cadiz, the highway turns into the N340 provincial road. Follow this all the way to the town of Vejer where you see the turn on your right to Barbate. Take this exit and follow the road to Barbate.
When you enter the town (Lidl on your left) take the roundabout three quarters (note: everyone takes precedence over the roundabout but officially only the one on the roundabout has priority!) Towards Zahara de Los Atunes.
Follow this road and you drive out of the town and parallel to the beach towards Zahara. Arrived here, turn right at the roundabout.
Drive through the village and follow the signs to ATLANTERRA which takes you left through the village towards the new building. Upon arrival the English speaking caretaker will provide you with the key's to the house including the remote for the automatic gates to the garage under the house. In the house you will find a practical guestbook full of tips, hints and ideas for daytrips and 'must sees'.
