Ferry Waterpoort is around the corner and takes you (by bicycle) to various other beautiful places, including the Galathese harbor with pavilion and nature playground. Within 10/15 minutes you can drive to the Grevelingenmeer (diving, surfing). It is also a good base for further exploring Goeree-Overflakkee, the cozy Middelharnis, the large harbor and family beach in Herkingen or a 30-minute drive to the North Sea beach.
