For the 2nd time we have enjoyed the rural setting and the comfortable cabin. Our two Labradors have a wonderful week can run loose and we all came to rest. For those who appreciate privacy and tranquility highly recommended. For dog owners it is very nice here. However, keep in mind that the "enclosed garden" just with barbed wire is deposited (which was broken here and there) so that small dogs and runaways can easily go off. One of our labradors was quickly escaped from the garden, but fortunately there are around the garden around only orchard and some pasture, where the dogs may just run around. We will definitely come back again.

Nice house with lots of peace and privacy. Everything you need is there. The house is clean and has a spacious garden. The fishing lake nearby (about 800 meters) is also nice, where there are lots of fish and where you can also swim. Walking is also possible in the area. There are also many nice trips to nearby attractions. such as Briare with its canal bridge and the Templar chapel in Chambeugle. A day in Orleans is also doable.

The reception was very good: the friendly owner welcomed us and explained a few things. Beds were made and towels I quickly requested via whatsapp. The WiFi was unfortunately quite weak: maybe 1 person could use the internet at a time, but in fact all four of us used the internet via 4G from our phone. Too bad that wifi is still often so bad in holiday homes! The house was fine: a bit old and old-fashioned but everything worked fine and it was clean. Living room was very dark. Luckily we sat outside most of the time. Apart from the fact that the house was very nice and we had a very nice holiday, still some tips for the owner and Topic: 1. The description is incorrect. There are no playground equipment and no trampoline.2. There is no bidet. Description must be adjusted.3. Teapot was missing from the house as well as hooks in the bathroom to hang your towel on. Also, screens on all windows would be a godsend against the wasps. All these are just small points, but it makes the stay enormously pleasant! The Senseo device was broken.5. Cushion for the garden furniture at the garden table would have been more comfortable. I would advise homeowners to invest in the relatively inexpensive upgrades such as a teapot, plenty of hanging hooks, other kitchen utensils and pillows, and in the Wi-Fi. That way you can also ask a higher price for your huis.Furthermore, a fact remains that the swimming lake was fine: we and our dog enjoyed it. The large lawn with shade and sunbeds was also great. In the area we visited Guedelon Castle, Auxerre, and Montargis. You can safely skip the last one: nothing to do. Auxerre is very nice!

Well-kept house with a spacious garden. Friendly owners who are very helpful zijn.WiFi is acceptable.The large swimming lake at 5 minutes walking distance is beautiful but has no shelter.In the immediate vicinity there is not much but half an hour by car takes you to beautiful places and sights.

the accommodation is good. although it is dated, it was clean. the garden is fenced, on some pieces with barbed wire. the managers are super friendly. we had 1 problem (wasp nest outside the window of the bathroom) and after contacting them this was solved perfectly. if you like peace and quiet, this holiday home is for you. we enjoyed our vacation. if I can name one downside then it is then there are few (open) restaurants in the area.

Friendly welcome by the landlord. The apartment is spacious with lots of space around it. Good wifi in the house. Kitchen is large with all amenities and a large fridge with a freezer compartment.

Nice, quiet house. A real GITE, the view was formidable. If you are looking for peace, this is the place. Enough to see in the omgeving.Only there were a few pans in the kitchen, that was equally compromise, but otherwise we were all very satisfied.

The arrival was fine around the beautiful view beautiful! Upon our departure, however, something went wrong! The owner did not show up (maybe because his wife had given birth?) We have been allowed to stay in this house for a week. It is a beautiful house in a beautiful place. Earlier reviews talk about overdue maintenance, this is still the case. In different places you look through the wall from the inside to the outside. The exterior also looks somewhat dilapidated. Hygiene leaves something to be desired. Furnishing is what you can expect from a French home, just fine. The space around the house is wonderful, our boys have cycled countless laps. They miss that the most. On the farm there is daily exercise with tractors and agricultural vehicles, also nice for the boys. The cottage is in the countryside, but really in the countryside. It is very quiet and you have to drive a bit to get to civilization.

Friendly reception. Nice old gites, but with some delay in maintenance. The location is perfect, very quiet, nice view. Visit of fox, owls and roe deer. Good heating and wifi available. Large TV with French channels so just watch the laptop and watch movies. Very nice private lake at 10 min walking distance, for swimming, fishing and sunbathing on the grass. Montargis is a nice town in the neighborhood. Briare is also worthwhile.

If you want peace and nature, then this is the place to be. House is neat and full of character. Very friendly reception. Inside, everything is there, in the style of the house. The places inside are dark because of the small windows, but they belong to this type of country house. Outside was a picnic table, some garden chairs would have been welcome. Great for cycling, little or no traffic on the roads. Top location

The cottage is old, exactly as described. Cracks are filled with silver foil and here and there is a kind of hole in the floor. The previous tenants broke the wood stove so we could not make extra heat. Not only was I really looking forward to that, but the electric heaters were actually just not enough. We bought a fleece blanket in the supermarket.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. The living room is spacious, but some lamps are missing in important places (above the table). We only used the bedroom downstairs. Good bed, just a bit short. There is only 1 small waste bin in the house, and no place to throw the garbage in a container. Glass had to be taken to the village. The cottage has a fly problem. New flies came out of the beams every day? There were also dead flies everywhere (cleaning could be a bit more thorough).
Very nice hostess who gave us all the privacy we needed. Plenty of space around the cottage.
We enjoyed it, but we will not be back.

A quiet place with private lake. Super nice young owners who speak English. We had our dog along which the grass garden was lovely. Every evening we were enjoying a glass of wine spectacular sunsets. Towns of Auxerre and Montargis are fun to visit. The kitchen in this house I found very fine and extensive. We'll be back!

We have two weeks, enjoyed the tranquility of the countryside in this comfortable house. beautiful walks and enjoyed swimming in the nearby lake. Also, our dog enjoyed the space and freedom around the house and could cool off in the lake. Owner is very friendly and helpful, we could ask him anything. In the area a few nice towns like Orleans and Auxerre visited and some chateaus. Baker in the village and supermarket 15 minutes.

Lovely house with a great garden. "At night you only hear the cry of an owl and the song of the cicadas, a place to relax and unwind. The area has a lot to do, but you can also at the lake entertained all day with swimming, fishing and boating. Our children would in any case not to huis.De owners are very friendly and speak excellent English. Large supermarket is a fifteen minute drive away and has everything you need
