Renovated old farmhouse which offers plenty of space and comfort. Especially for cool evenings, a wellness room (sauna, steam room, ...) with open fireplace. In the area many opportunities for hiking and tourist destinations for young and old. We really enjoyed the week stay.

Very friendly owner who took the time to explain everything. Nice environment and also a pleasant place to stay. The only thing that was missing in function of the wellness is a jaccuzi. The area is quiet and beautiful.

The house is beautifully situated in a very quiet hamlet. It has a large private area with views of the river and the hills on the other side. The house has a very pleasant, authentic atmosphere with beautiful old wooden doors and floors. It is very spacious. Despite being with many, we had enough living space. There are several showers and toilets, so also in that respect we never had to wait for each other.The surroundings are beautiful and wonderful to wandelen.De owners are very friendly and helpful.

A nice French speaking lady where we could get the key, the meter positions and the house was for us! It was a fantastic weekend partly due to the beautiful weather. (Sorry we could only get in at 17.00) We actually lived outside in the beautiful nature at and around the cottage. There are nice walks and mountain biking can be very good . The coo falls are within walking distance.The cottage was cozy with lots of space. And oh occasionally a spider web or a cracking floor that belongs to such a house. The sanitary facilities were clean and also the floors. We also enjoyed the sauna and the steam bath. I would like to give some tips for the kitchen! In the dishes was not everything clean, if you do not use things, they will be a bit messy, and some of the pans we have washed before we used them. Maybe a tip to keep it all the time in the dishwasher We laughed every morning at the table knives that were so bloody !! There were 2 beds on the first floor bad, so maybe worth a visit! But that does not mean we have had a lovely weekend in the Ardennes, already 10 o'clock departure was a bit early, an hour later would be more relaxing with 9 people !!

Excellent accommodation, with all the comforts. We were kindly received by the owner. The description of the accommodation is true to reality. There are various bicycle and hiking routes directly from the house. The house is close to COO where there are also various other activities. With our family with children aged 10, 13 and 15, we have enjoyed our two weeks.

The accommodation itself was old and cracked. Nevertheless, it was a very nice and spacious house. The garden was big and enough to sit outside with his sisters. The view is breathtaking. Very very beautiful, have all enjoyed. The owner is very strict regarding the water and electricity positions. Upon arrival, all meters had to be ejected.

It was a cozy country house with a Turkish bath, sauna, solarium. Dishwasher, washer and dryer and Wifi. Together with the sofa bed there are a total of 10 sleeping places that are spacious (all single beds that can be pushed together to a double bed. So very suitable for groups. We brought our own duvets and pillows, but wardrobes we found sufficient duvets and Pillow so actually only bed, bath and kitchen linen would suffice.Also very nice that we could wash and dry our clothes and towels. The owner was on a short holiday on our arrival but we were well received and guided by the neighbor. The owners came to know a few days later after returning from the holiday and gave us a special apple juice from their own orchard. The surroundings are very nice, you can go hiking, kayaking and mountain biking. Nearby is Coo with Plopsaland and the cozy restaurants (Le Baron is recommended by Dutch owners and delicious food) at Coo you can live at Adventure a Activities like the Rope Challenge books, fun activities but very pricey, kayak rental was a very bad explanation, afterwards the owner of our cottage told us that the water is low in the river by default so that you get stuck with the canoe and Have to get off to get rid of it. It is then hard to complete the 9km but for commercial reasons it is not told to people in advance. For example, we have taken a father with 2 young children by car because they have been stopped by fatigue earlier and have been left to their fate by fellow residents. Nearly La Gleize, Coo and Stavelot there are plenty of restaurants but these are pretty pricey, but you can also cook a home cooked Bqq / fire pit in the house.

We had a lovely long weekend. Old big house, beautiful location. The on-site sauna and steam room are delicious and tidy.The furniture and beds are a little on the old side, but it was not for us really. The kitchen is neat and compleet.Al all enjoyed, the surrounding area is superb, a short distance are several activities such as cycling, canoeing, hiking and find more.
