The house was in a beautiful quiet place, you had the idea that you were in the middle of a forest. The house had everything you need for a stay. The landlady was very nice and helpful. There are many different walks in the area that you can start from the house. We were there with 5 adults and 2 dogs.

We were very kindly received by the owner. She walked to the house, to explain a thing or other. The beautiful, albeit dated forest house, was beautifully hidden in the woods. Very much space around it, our dog loved it. the interior, although dated, but a spacious utility, 2 toilets, bath (a little bit with shower, no hanging hook), beds made, spacious bedrooms, mattresses doable for 1 week.Verder in the bedrooms a private sink.All the necessary present, dishwasher, coffee maker, Senseo, kettle, fridge with freezer. If you can see through a bit ... see the charms of such a house and do not want too much luxury and sleek interior, then definitely recommended. , or disabled people not so convenient, given climbing stairs to bedrooms above and above no convenient walk-in shower. You really should be able to take a shower. But a lot of space, quiet location in a forest, delicious restaurants in the neighborhood.We have enjoyed tremendously. Parents with 3 young adults and 1 big dog.

We were pleasantly surprised. Spacious cottage, warm welcome, beautiful wooded area. The cottage is neat and is not standard that we like. Our children are well looked after in the nearby forest. The tourist information gives you many tips. Cycle routes are well indicated. Only minus of the cottage is shower in the bath, not very convenient (no possibility to hang the shower head) but that is well compensated by the spacious bedrooms and generous living.

The reception was extremely friendly and welcoming. Everything was well organized by the owner, there was a Christmas tree, there were games for the grandchildren, very nice. The house is large and some fantastic atmosphere is concerned, with a great fireplace, and everything is tasty retro colored and decorated. The area is nice, you walk a few hundred meters into the forest. There is a large supermarket nearby, everything to have a wonderful holiday, and that is what we have been twice over with our children and grandchildren. Small minus a shower in the bath, which is not for everyone.

A very warm welcome from the lady with the key. And there were local products ready. BUT the house is not worth the high rent 695 + 40 cleaning + 30 electricity and oil 765 euros for a weekend! The house is dusty and the bath was dirty, hair in the hole. The bathroom has no hook for hanging the shower (showering in the bath, without shower curtain), the bath is broken and there are no hooks for towels. The light in the bathroom can only be switched on from one of the bedrooms. In the bedrooms only lace curtains, but no curtains, so wake up when it gets light. The fronts of the drawers in the kitchen fall off when you open them. The extractor hood is dirty and falls apart when you slide it on to put on. The furniture in the living room is old and gathered. The photos on the internet look much better than the reality. The location of the house and the surroundings are beautiful! But the price-quality ratio is excessive.

The holiday is very successful. The owner was very friendly and welcoming and gave lovely tips on possible activities in the area. The spacious garden surrounding the house was also much appreciated especially with good weather. Itself we have been there much of the bus to eg. Antwerp, Bobbejaanland, Mechelen what was to do right by the bus stop near and reasonably cheap bus fares. Generally there are no crazy things happen to complain about.

We rented this house to be close to Antwerp lives there, our daughter who had just given birth to her 2nd child. But to our surprise the surrounding area was also wonderful with lots of cycling and wandelroutesHet house is very spacious and could come and stay with our children and grandchildren. We enjoyed the large terrace with beautiful weather we sat outside all day in bad weather, we had unfortunately also, we still looked wonderful on the trees around the house. The hostess is very friendly and helpful and we will definitely come terugkeren.Wat also very useful is that the bus to Antwerp, 5 minutes walk away.

The house offers plenty of space for a large family and is easily accessible by car and public transport via the N12. You can enjoy the peace, space and nature but is still near a big city like Antwerp. There are also plenty of supermarkets in the area. Furthermore, we were warmly welcomed. Overall for us the ideal mix for a successful holiday. Highly recommended!

The weekend of January 8, 2010 with 6 adults Boshuis rented. Was a very nice house, weather is something other than a standard holiday! Very nice surroundings, nice and cozy house to the fireplace had. Sociable a day shopping in Antwerp (20 min by car) and Sunday in the lovely forest walk through the snow, within walking distance of the Boshuis. Only drawback is the bathroom, for the beautiful would be a separate shower and a little more light, but for those 10 minutes on weekends you spend in the bathroom was also not very much. Super nice and relaxing weekend with friends with each other without the kids!

A week in the Boshuis rented. Too bad the house, through the tall trees, in the shade and cool at night so that the heat is ON! Grounds are beautiful. Walking and cycling, which neighbor to rent, you can start for home. At the tourist office in Westmalle get the nice ladies all information and a map! Also, there are hiking trails koop.Brussel and near Antwerp.
