Well-known excursion destinations include the Stainzer Warte, which offers a wonderful view over western and southern Styria, the power station in Arnstein (also a mountain bike highlight), the Bad Gamser Weinbergwarte, the Teigitschklamm and the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen nature park. The Grebenzen - St. Lambrecht ski area offers a total of around 27 kilometers of slopes, beautiful landscapes and varied runs. A real natural ski area and is located around 1.5 hours by car from Sankt Stefan ob Stainz. In summer, the Wildon bathing lake, the Nymphenweiher bathing lake in Niedergams, the natural bathing pond in Stainz and the outdoor pools in the area offer plenty of bathing fun! The holiday home offers a cozy living/dining kitchen with a separate sitting area and a kitchenette, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, a terrace with garden furniture and a large lawn with deck chairs and a large barbecue. In the thermal spa and volcanic region of Styria, the springs of the 5 thermal spa resorts of Bad Radkersburg, Bad Gleichenberg, Bad Loipersdorf, Bad Blumau and Bad Waltersdorf bubble up; each thermal spa is a specialist in a different area of well-being. Gersdorf an der Feistritz and the surrounding area also offers a large selection of hiking and cycling trails. Well-known excursion destinations are the Feistritzklamm, the Riegersburg, the Herberstein Zoo and the Keltendorf (first prehistoric open-air museum in Styria). In winter, the small ski area Teichalm offers lifts (approx. 30 km by car) over 6 kilometers of slopes, and in summer the Stubenbergsee, the warmest swimming lake in Austria, and the outdoor pool in Gersdorf offer lots of swimming fun! This modern, detached premium wooden chalet for a maximum of 8 people is located in St. Georgen ob Murau in Styria and is located in beautiful surroundings in a small holiday park in the immediate vicinity of the Kreischberg ski area. The holiday park is quietly yet centrally located in the middle of beautiful nature. The valley station of the Kreischbergbahn takes you directly to the Kreischberg ski area with a total of 42 kilometers of slopes. Other ski and cross-country skiing areas in the immediate vicinity include Hirnkopf-Flattnitz (Glödnitz) in Central Carinthia (approx. 20 minutes) with 8 kilometers of slopes and 5 lifts, Turracher Höhe, one of the most diverse ski areas in the Southern Alps with 43 kilometers of slopes and 15 cable cars and ski lifts (approx. 30 minutes), the Prebersee high-altitude cross-country ski run in approx. 30 minutes and the cross-country skiing area in Schönfeld - Innerkrems (approx. 40 minutes). The regional capital Murau can be reached in 5 minutes by car and offers many shopping opportunities and there is also a swimming pool. You can cycle on the very popular Murtal cycle path. From the chalet you can also easily reach many excursion destinations with the Murtalbahn, as the Kaindorf Süd station is only 200 meters from the house (in winter it also serves as a ski bus). There is also a golf course and a large riding stable nearby (1 km). Bread delivery service can be arranged on site. In short: everything for a wonderful holiday.
