Cozy living spaces with good entertainment options, toys available for the children, as well as a fully equipped home office with docking station, monitor, mouse and keyboard. There are also training devices such as dumbbells, benches, slings etc. The ski areas in Holtardalen, Tiur, and Vierli have a total of 12 lifts and 26 slopes, as well as 150 km of cross-country skiing trails. The cabin has parking just outside the cabin wall and access to an electric car charger. From the sunny terrace there is a fantastic view of the surroundings and the mountains. Outdoor area with fire pit, barbecue, playhouse and practical outdoor furniture. The cabin owners' skis can be used for a fee. There are also toboggans, skis, steering sleds and sleds for cross-country skiing which can be borrowed free of charge. Rauland is a great holiday destination all year round. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go for great hikes in the forest and mountains, and take your fishing rod to one of the many fishing lakes. Book horse riding tours in the area, cycle in the beautiful countryside or take a trip to the historically interesting town of Rjukan. The hike to the Gaustatoppen (1883 m.a.s.l.) is recommended! For guests with children, we recommend walking to Dansarsteinen or hiking up to Falkeriset; here you walk on stone paths built by Sherpas from Nepal. Just a 9-minute drive from the cabin, you will find Vierli with summer activities such as boat/canoe hire, fishing, animals, playground, frisbee golf and mini golf. In addition to nature experiences, Rauland offer cultural experiences such as local craft shops, festivals and historic sites. The local tradition and culture are deeply rooted and give visitors a unique insight into Norwegian cultural life.

On the same floor, there is an open living room/kitchen with plenty of space in the dining area. Lovely wood stove for cold days; firewood can be purchased from the landlord. One bathroom on this floor. On the first floor, there are two additional bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two beds at 120 cm each. There is a WC on this floor. In Vinje municipality, there are hundreds of small and large lakes and good fishing opportunities. In addition, Rauland has wonderful hiking opportunities, moose safaris and various great activities for children. A short drive of 45 minutes will get you to Rjukan, where you can follow in the footsteps of Norwegian 2. world war and industrial history.

The cabin offers a lovely atmosphere and a good sense of space with high ceilings. The cabin has three bedrooms and a loft with sleeping places. One bedroom with a double bed, and two with family bunks. The family bunks have a width of 120 cm at the bottom, and will be best suited for just one adult, or one adult and a child. In the loft there is a double bed and a pitched roof all the way down to the floor. The cabin has fast internet and two TVs, both with Altibox, so that both children and adults can enjoy their favorite programs at the same time. The cabin offers a well-equipped kitchen with an attached dining area, so that the whole family can gather around the table. Large terrace with a fire pit. Rauland has fantastic skiing opportunities in winter. In the summer, there are many great hiking opportunities, in addition to exciting activities such as moose safaris, children's seats and good fishing opportunities. For those interested in history, it is only a short drive (45 min.) to Rjukan, where you can follow in the footsteps of Norwegian military and industrial history. Please note that the stairs are quite steep. Bed linen can be brought or rented for NOK 100,- per person.

TV in the living room downstairs as well as a TV room on the first floor where you can enjoy a movie (only streaming on the first floor, no channels as on the ground floor). Well-equipped kitchen with dining area, where you can gather over a better meal - perhaps with fish you have caught yourself? The cabin has a large terrace as well as a balcony on the first floor. Please note that the stairs are quite steep and that the rooms on the first floor have partly sloping ceilings. Here you have a wonderful closeness to nature, both in summer and winter. Alpine center and ski slopes only a few hundred meters from the cabin. In the summer, Rauland has many great hiking opportunities, as well as exciting activities such as moose safaris, sculpture walks and good fishing opportunities. For those interested in history, it is only a 45-minute drive to Rjukan, where you can follow the forerunners of Norwegian war and/or industrial history. 4-wheel drive is recommended during winter. Alternatively, the car can be parked approx. 200 m from the cabin. NB: You will need to bring your own bed linen.
