Great ski resort in Gautefall only 30 km away; here there are great opportunities for everyone, both slalom and cross-country skiing, and in summer you can cycle or walk in the same area. Himmelriket is an easy walk that suits most people. It is 45 minutes to drive in the direction of Åmli to Jettegrytene in Nissedal. 45 minutes to Fyresdal (gravel road over the heath) to the famous Hamaren activity park and Tretoppvegen. 1.5 hours to Dalen in Telemark where you can follow in the footsteps of the Rui girls, enjoy a lunch at a historic Dalen hotel or jump on the boat to Skien along the Telemark canal.
