The house feels spacious despite its limited area, but with high ceilings and the open floor plan, there is plenty of space for the small group or family. Cycle paths are marked with signs around the island. At Andrén's bakery you can buy the morning bread. At Sturkö Kvarn there is a café, ice cream and an exhibition of various artists. Kristina's garden café also has a flea market. The southern part of the island is undeveloped and fine sandy beaches hide in the coves. The beach in Stensvik is recommended. Sanda is one of the island's villages with a small fishing port overlooking Karlskrona town. South of Sanda there is a bridge connection to Tjurkö and the larger fishing harbor Ekenabben.
