The house has several patios in different directions that can be varied according to the sun's position depending on whether you want sun or cooling shade on the hottest days. The open plan of the house provides a pleasant atmosphere for cozy moments together in front of the fireplace. In connection with the fully equipped kitchen there is a dining table that can be adjusted according to how many of you are at meals indoors. Another very nice and bright living room is with a wood-burning stove and sofa group for shared moments. In one of the bedrooms with adjustable single beds there is a skylight and an opening glass section out onto the terrace. In the second bedroom with a double bed there is also a loft for those who want to retreat for a moment of their own time. The fresh bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The guesthouse, close to the entrance of the house, has bunk beds where the lower bed is 120 cm wide. For football fans, Mjällby's home arena, Strandvallen, is located in the nearest neighboring village, Hällevik. Daily boat trips from Nogersund to the unique Hanö are recommended. Skärsjön, only a few kilometers from the accommodation, is a popular swimming spot with a jetty, outdoor gym and barbecue area. Many lakes in the area are available for those interested in fishing but require a fishing license that can be purchased from a local agent. The nearest sea bathing is in Nättraby a quarter of a drive south. From here you can also take the archipelago traffic boats out among the islands and to the naval town of Karlskrona center. In Karlskrona, the Marine Museum is an experience for both children and adults. An excursion to Barnensgård with a water slide, games and outdoor activities is recommended for families with children. In the area there are flea markets to visit and farm stands selling meat and accessories to take home or eat on site.

The plot can be said to be naturally divided in the middle, and the homeowners, who sometimes visit the third house, do not use the guests' part when the accommodation is rented out. A must-visit! For a longer swimming getaway, the municipal swimming area in Svanesund (5.7 km) is recommended with piers, diving towers and lawn. At an airfield nearby, there is the opportunity to try helicopter flying - a unique experience! As it is an area with a lot of oysters, swimming shoes are a tip to pack! Close to restaurants, entertainment and other services in Svanesund. If you are keen on shopping, Stenungsund has around 60 shops that you can easily reach via a free car ferry. Also take the opportunity to experience the archipelago and the small fishing villages around Orust. Feel free to take the ferry to the picturesque islands of Käringön or Gullholmen. Orust is the island of events with festivals, jazz days and lots of activities for both children and adults. The small rowing boat which is included is located next to the grass pier and from it you can get out on the lake, if you want to fish, recreational fishing is free in Hjälmaren. There are also life jackets for 4 persons. You can swim after the beach, but it's not a prepared beach. Bathing shoes can be an idea to bring for those who want to swim directly from down by the pier. If you want a larger bath with jetties and sandy beach, Hampetorps Camping is recommended. It is about 3000 meters there, it is possible to walk on smaller roads, but also easy to take the car out on the larger road. The campsite has a mini shop with ice cream and groceries open in the summer and a restaurant section that often has different music performances on weekends. There is also Hampetorp's marina. Take the ferry one day out to Vinön, it departs according to schedule from Vinögatan. Out on the island there are several different bathing places and restaurants. If you need to refill the pantry, Vingåker has well-stocked shops, here is also Vingåkers Outlet where you shop for everything from clothes to porcelain. Julita Gård, run by nordiska museet, is worth a visit.

The cottage is beautifully situated with some views of Flisbysjön, pasture land, the church and the surrounding gardens. The cottage is the old Klockaregården with a plot of 2000 square meters that has a lawn with various seating areas and a trampoline, triple hammocks in a birch grove, horticulture with spice land, leafy vegetables and cut flower cultivation (mostly dahlias). The cottage has two floors, on the first floor you have the kitchen, carefully renovated so that it retains its charm but still has the amenities you need. The newly renovated bathroom is also on this floor, as well as a bedroom with a double bed and the living room. On the second floor there are two bedrooms, one with a single bed and one with two single beds. If you want to go on an adventure, you will find Skullaryd elk park about 6km away, in 1 hour and 15 minutes by car you can get to Astrid Lindgren's World, and 50km away you have Jönköping with shopping, restaurants and cafés.
