Welcome to a beautiful red cottage with white knots in a classic Swedish idyll, the cottage is a so-called Dalslandstorp. The house is located in rural charm with the forest next door. Here you can enjoy the peace, starry nights, the tranquility in a beautiful environment. The cottage offers a perfect holiday for a family with children or a group of 6 people. The advantages are many and there are several nice swimming spots near the cottage. You are welcomed into a farm where the cottage is located. You enter a small hall with space for outerwear. Be careful if you are tall as the ceiling height in the doorways is slightly lower than normal. Directly to the left the large kitchen opens up. Here you can find most of what you could need and seating for 6 people. Good with storage areas, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and a microwave. You can light a fire in the small wood stove but be careful. Inside is a living room with a tiled stove. This too can be lit carefully. In here there is a double bed 180 cm wide. Straight ahead is the living room with a comfortable sofa, TV to stream movies for the evening. The bathroom was newly renovated in 2025 with a shower, sink and toilet. Up the stairs you get to the sleeping loft with two bedrooms. One room with two single beds and one room with a double bed. Up here there is more sloping ceilings. Outside the house in the yard there is plenty of space for playing and relaxing in the sun. There is a ball grill and a larger fireplace. In the small house outside in the yard there is a sauna for 6 people. The stairs up in this annex lead you to extra sleeping places. Perfect for those with older children or where the group does not want to live together in the main house. The stairs up are steep so you have to be careful. It is important to show consideration and that all tools and the other houses on the farm are for private use only. If you have a dog, you are welcome to bring your four-legged friend but do not let the dog run loose in the forest and land, as it is an area rich in animals. There are plenty of deer, hares, moose and foxes in the forest behind the house. If you want to find nice tours, there is plenty to do. A visit to charming Nuntorps farm is a must with locally produced, stone oven baked pizzas and locally produced food. Brålanda offers second hand and ICA. Mellerud has nice trails in the forest, plenty of fishing spots and swimming is a must in beautiful Vänern.

If you want to take a dip in Laxsjön, the steps down to the lake are just a few minutes from the cottage. The water has a sandy bottom and is great for children if they can swim. There is no beach. The municipal beach (Kampudden) is only 5 minutes away by car. The terrace is partially covered and has outdoor furniture (4 chairs, 1 table and 2 sun loungers) and a barbecue available from May to mid-October. The area is home to both summer guests and some year-round residents. Parking space next to the house. Please note that each house has its own plot and is privately owned. When walking in the area, do not cross anyone else's plot, but use the streets in the area. Just a short drive away is the charming Baldersnäs Herrgård, nestled in a beautiful park and nature reserve, with hiking trails suitable for the whole family. Welcome to "Bustadgården" in Södra Löten, ideally located near the Sälen mountains, the Norwegian border, Långberget, and Branäs in Värmland. Here you stay in an idyllic setting with nature right outside your door. You will be accommodated in a traditional, cozy, and spacious house that enjoys sunshine throughout the day. An old timber barn and a historic storehouse frame the courtyard, providing plenty of outdoor space for play and barbecues. Surrounding the house are berry-rich forests, and you are close to beautiful fishing lakes, streams, and wetlands. The house is large and spacious, spread over two floors, recently renovated while preserving its traditional style. On the ground floor, you will find an entrance hall, a large country-style kitchen with modern appliances—including a dishwasher—and the original cast iron stove that adds a cozy warmth on a chilly morning. There are also two living rooms with comfortable seating areas and a fireplace perfect for relaxing after a day of outdoor activities. Upstairs you’ll find the bedrooms as well as another new and fresh bathroom equipped with underfloor heating.
