The cottages are worn and spartan, giving them a rustic feel. The upper cottage, which is located near the entrance to the owner's residence, has a kitchen table and chairs with a nice view as well as a simpler stove and oven, and a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The second cabin, located about 30 meters closer to the water, offers sleeping places with a bunk bed and an older sofa bed for two people. There is also a wash basin here, but please note that the water is not drinkable in this cabin. Despite the simpler accommodation, the location is absolutely fantastic - wake up to the tranquility of nature and birdlife, with a heron that can often be seen peering from a rock in the fjord. Perfect for those who want to experience a secluded and close to nature stay at the coast. Onsala and Kungsbackafjorden are perfect destinations for those looking for a scenic and relaxing experience by the coast. Here, the beautiful archipelago environment is combined with a rich range of activities. Visitors can enjoy cliff bathing, crab fishing, SUP paddling or sailing in the calm fjord. The area also offers hiking trails, cozy harbors and charming cafes and restaurants, especially in Gottskär (6km). For those who want to relax there are opportunities for yoga by the sea, and for families there are plenty of child-friendly activities. Welcome to a wonderful summer resort in beautiful Orust! This charming cabin offers a peaceful oasis despite being close to the highway, as it is protected by a mountain knoll and a cozy little forest grove. Santa has a large lawn where the kids can play freely, and a cute gazebo that makes a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, even when the rain is falling. In the leafy gazebo you can relax with coffee on sunny days. Inside the entrance you are greeted by a small kitchen with a serving hatch. The water has that characteristic rural smell and taste, completely safe to drink. If you still want a filtered alternative, a filter jug is available - just fill it up and put it in the fridge. The living room is furnished for comfort with both a dining area and a large sofa that accommodates the whole party. From here you reach the balcony, where outdoor furniture and a gas grill await lovely barbecue evenings. The site also has a large grass area on this side, perfect for outdoor games. The cabin has a bedroom with two single beds and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed. In the annex on the plot there is also a double bed for extra sleeping places. You will find the shower in the unfurnished basement, and it is accessed via an entrance at the back of the house. The incineration toilet in the cabin is easy to use – just follow the instructions on site. Near the cottage are several lovely bathing spots. Småholmarna's bathing area (4.4 km) and Slussen's bathing area (5.5 km), are both very popular during the summer. Henån (3 km) offers all the services you could need with shops, restaurants, system companies and much more. In addition, several pleasant events are arranged in Henån during the summer. If you want to shop, there is Göksäter, a shopping paradise where you can find everything between heaven and earth at fantastic prices. A short walk takes you to the center of Falkenberg. There are many nice little cafes, restaurants and shops here. The fine, large sandy beach at Skrea quickly fills up with bathers in the summer. In the southern part of Skrea beach there is a lovely walking area and a nature reserve that offers rock bathing. For those interested in golf, there are several golf courses within easy reach. The closest is Falkenbergs Gk. Through Falkenberg flows the Ätran, which has great nature experiences and walking paths. Ätran has a nice salmon fishery (fishing license required). Feel free to pay a visit to the small town of Slöinge, which has both a well-known bakery and café, an ice cream factory with service and a brewery with outdoor seating. To the north you quickly reach the fine summer town of Varberg and to the south Halmstad. By car you can also quickly reach Europe's largest shopping center GEKÅS in Ullared.

Discover the Bjäre Peninsula with all its picturesque summer villages and not least Båstad, the wonderful tennis metropolis. Visit the lovely harbor area and the cold bath house. Just north of Båstad are Norrviken's gardens, a popular destination. Laholm has a cozy center with small shops, cafes and restaurants. Here Lagan winds around the town and there is fine salmon fishing and a smokehouse with a restaurant. On Hallandsåsen there are also several lovely hiking trails and a ski resort in winter. Welcome to Svanvik - a perfect house for relaxation and adventure by the sea! Start the day with a short bike ride (4 are available) to the nearby bathing area Frupall (1.5 km) for a refreshing morning dip. Enjoy the evening sun on the terrace and barbecue while looking out over the sparkling sea. The kitchen is a modern working kitchen without seating. The living room has ceiling height right up to the ridge and large windows that offer a fantastic view of the Stigfjorden. Challenge each other at the dining table in one of all the party games available or relax on the large balcony with a sea view. A bedroom with a double bed (140 cm) downstairs (own exit). If you want to charge your electric car, it is fine for a cost that is paid on the spot directly to the home owner. The Santa is a mountain Santa, which makes it charming but also somewhat challenging, so it's good to keep an extra eye on younger children. The Svanvik nature reserve is within walking distance with a rich wildlife and many swimming opportunities. Golden eagles have been seen several times from the house, binoculars are available to look for them! Bridge baths and rock baths with ladders can be found along the entire nature reserve as well as bays that are more shallow. The bath in Svanvik is authentic Bohuslän with rocks and pink granite, which is unusual in this part of Bohuslän. In Varekil (3km) there is a nice range of delicatessens, fish shop, cafe etc. Freshly baked bread is available at Herr Bröd (Vräland 6km). Bryggvingen at Lyr is a nice restaurant where you sit on a cliff by the sea, and the catch of the day comes in from boats right next to it. Slussen's guest house (23km) offers fantastic food and concert experiences all summer. A hot tip is the sauna Tribunen in Hälleviksstrand (22km) with a panoramic window facing the sea. If you are in the mood for shopping, you can go to Stenungsund (20 km) which has a wide range of restaurants and shopping. Welcome to Orust, the whole family will enjoy themselves here!

For those of you who have an electric car, there are chargers in the boat association's parking lot, where you can park as long as you charge, for a fee. Fiber is included in the house, which allows you to stream TV and work smoothly online. Skärhamn, the nearest town, offers a rich selection of restaurants, the popular Watercolor Museum, and has fine grocery stores with a good selection. Fishing boats dock at the jetty during the summer where you can buy freshly caught crayfish. Further up the hill it is possible to rent a kayak to explore the archipelago. The ferry, which runs right below the house every half hour (adjusted depending on the season), takes you easily to the nature reserve on Härön, where Restaurang Magasinet serves both lunch and dinner. This is a home that offers both comfort and stunning views – perfect for relaxation and adventure.

Here you can find everything for those interested in fishing. Bolmen is rich in different fish species, there is the possibility to rent a boat and to book trolling fishing. There is also a very nice fish restaurant and farm shop here. Do you like peace and quiet? Do you like the company of the whistling of the wind and the rays of the sun through the greenery of the forest? Grass underfoot and a path to walk on? There are several nature reserves in the area, i.a. Årshultsmyren, a nature reserve near Lidhult. There are several golf courses in the area, the closest is Rydö golf club, approx. 16 km away.

If you are keen on hiking, the area offers fantastic walking trails and the proximity to the Bohusleden, one of Sweden's most scenic hiking trails. In the immediate area, within a few minutes' walking distance, you reach Gårvik's fantastically child-friendly sandy beach surrounded by picnic-friendly grassy areas, here there are also great opportunities for fishing or launching a kayak for your own exploration of all the bays and beaches of the fjord. In the area there is also a viewpoint with a wide view of the fjord and surrounding landscape, a nice place to enjoy the sun rising or setting. Through Munkedal flows the Örekilsälven, which is a popular river for salmon fishing, many sport fishing enthusiasts have tried their luck over the years. In the immediate area is Torreby golf course, which is Bohuslän's oldest golf course, the course is located in a castle environment with an English-inspired castle park. Between the cottage and the annex is a large lawn perfect for games and all kinds of games. The cabin has WiFi connection. The municipality of Munkedal has very varied natural areas worth visiting, everything from sea and fjord environments to deep forests with lakes and rivers. From Kaserna's canoe centre, an approx. 4 mile long paddling trail runs through lakes and waterways, a great opportunity to explore a beautiful part of the surrounding area. From the cottage you can also easily reach other municipalities and excursion destinations worth visiting, e.g. take the local road past Saltkällan, Skredsvik, Rotviksbro stop at "Två Fröknar" which is a cozy shop with both interior design and clothes. Next door is the restaurant Stallgården, which also sells organic produce in the shop "Stallgården's Pantry". Then continue with some shopping at Torp Köpcentrum or why not a visit to Bohusläns Museum. From the cabin, you can also easily make day trips to Nordens Ark, Havets Hus in Lysekil, Smögenbryggan, fishing and boating communities in the northern part of Bohuslän.
