On the ground floor, you’ll find a bedroom with a single bed and the option to add an extra bed if needed. The floor also features a large dining room with a grand piano, available for musically inclined guests to enjoy. The kitchen is fully equipped, and there are generous common areas for cooking, dining, and relaxing together. On the beautiful Adelsö, one of the Mälaren islands, you will find this cozy house. In the large house there is a living room and kitchen with the facilities you need for a comfortable holiday. Also a lovely modern bathroom with a steam sauna, washing machine and drying cabinet and a double bedroom with access to the large balcony. The balcony has many cozy seats, a hammock to slowly swing in and a wood-fired hot tub. At one end of the balcony is a shed with space for three people. There is no water and toilet here, only sleeping places. The plot has a wonderful and large lawn for fun activities, the owners have a kubb and croquet that you are welcome to borrow. Two hundred meters from the house there is a rock swimming pool and if you want a sandy beach there is a family swimming pool at Hovegården which is four km from the house. Adelsö has a lot to discover, from Hovgården there is a boat to Birka, with interesting Viking finds. If you like hiking, there are many nice hiking tours on the island. There are old burial mounds and rune stones on the island. You can get to the island by free car ferry that runs a shuttle service during the summer months. There is a small grocery store at the ferry, if you want a larger store there is one in Ekerö center, where there is also a gas station and a system company. There is a bus to Stockholm, so you don't need to take the car, but there is also a large shuttle parking lot at Ekerö center, from there you can take a boat into central Stockholm, a nice boat trip.

Nature here is stunning and there are many lovely places you can make excursions too. Harge Uddar is set by the shore of lake Vättern and offers a breathtaking view, a grill area, and a lovely ,rocky bathing spot. Don't miss the castle Stjernsunds Slott which is only five kilometres away and offers guided tours every day. Another lovely place you can visit is the picturesque town of Askersund which is 11 kilometres away. Here you will find shops, a mini-zoo, a little chocolate factory, a beach, and a lovely harbour. The boat M/S Wetterwik offers plenty of cruises in Vättern. The town of Olshammar is 15 kilometres from your holiday home. It has a rich history. Here you will find Birgittakyrkan. Saint Bridget and her husband Ulf Gudmarsson spent some time here in the 1300's . You can also visit Olshammarsgården where the writer Verner von Heidenstam was born. Other places to visit are Medevi Brunn with it's park concerts, theatre, and museums. Don't miss the nature reserve Tivedens Nationalpark, 30 kilometres away. A wonderful holiday home with a high, nice and private location on Rådmansö. Located north of Stockholm and about 15 km to Norrtälje. The cottage is located in a nice cottage area with a heated communal pool and a children's pool. The interior is bright and nice with an open plan between the kitchen and living room. There is a wood-burning stove that can be lit for cozy moments together on a chilly evening. Two bedrooms, one of which with a double bed is spacious. The other bedroom has a bunk bed. Bathroom with shower and toilet. Next to the cottage there is a guest cottage with bunk beds that may be suitable for older people who want some time to themselves during the holiday. The cottage is located on a nice hilly natural plot with trees at the corner. A wonderful terrace for those memorable summer evenings, good food, close company and easy-to-cook barbecue dinners, that's what you want for a pleasant relaxing holiday. Down the hill about 1km you have the common pool area with a pool for adults and a pool for children. Booking this cottage also gives a little extra joy as the owners work with development work in poor countries. There is some information on site about her work in Africa. With its many bays and lakes, Rådmansö has long been a favorite for well-to-do Stockholmers who long for peace and quiet, sun and swimming. During the summer there is a wide range of activities for the whole family. Driving distance to several nice beaches along the Baltic Sea coast. You have very good communications to all of Stockholm's nice attractions, by car it takes an hour, you can also take direct buses from Norrtälje. With the Stockholm Card you have both transport and entrances at a reasonable price. With the Åland ferry you can also put together a shopping cruise to Åland without any problems. Norrtälje has all the services and a picturesque city center with several interesting museums. The sea cannot be seen from the cottage.

The shower and toilet are outside, so lovely to shower outside in the summer. The toilet is a dry toilet in a small house next door. The house has a large terrace; half with a roof and half without a roof, nice to sit outside regardless of the weather. A large green plot with outdoor furniture and a grill for nice evenings. The house is high and partly protected from view. One km from the house there is a nice beach, there is a bus to Stockholm 200 m from the house. A grocery store and pizzeria are 1 km from the house. On the Mälaröarna islands; which consists of several islands, there is a lot to see and do, feel free to bring your bikes and discover the islands by bike. This house is for those of you who want to live genuinely in the middle of nature, close to forests and hikes, but still close to everything.

The cozy cottage on Värmdö is located in privacy on a mountain with gnarled pines and beautiful rocks in the open with moss and stone plants. There is a small lawn in front of the house. The house has a nice patio with a roof with room for 6 people. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with a built-in family bunk bed. There is also a daybed in the spacious living room. The kitchen has a lot of character, there is a dining table for 4 if you prefer to sit inside and eat. It is a slightly different and smart solution for the shower and toilet, as there was no room for a bathroom; the shower cabin is in the hall and the electric toilet is in the small hall at the entrance. On Saltarö it is never far to the sea, about one km from the house there is a nice beach with a jetty, sandy beach and shallow water. A parking permit is required to park your car there, it is in the hall for you to borrow, don't forget to put it back when you go home, so the next guest gets the same benefit. There is a bus into Stockholm just 400m from the house. In the area around the cottage there are nice walking paths and lots of nature. Sometimes the moose come up to the plot and slurp the apple tree in the garden. It is quiet and restful here, as the house is located on a turning point, here you will have a nice holiday!

This magical location is hard to beat if you want to experience real archipelago life! Here you live close to the sea, in the house on the mountain, it's just the stairs down to the jetties. Up here there is a terrace with a grill and cozy fire, a kitchen and a built-in family bunk bed with a wider underbed. There is also an outdoor shower on the terrace. If you go a little further out by the water there is a lovely large electric sauna with a shower and your own jetty. If you go the other way there is a fine-grained shallow sandy beach with a barbecue area and table. The beach belongs to the residents on the cape. Since the entire plot is mountain there is no water toilet, the toilet is a dry toilet with a view of the water, cozy. The rent includes a rowing boat, there are several shallows within rowing distance, so you can fish for dinner yourself. If you don't get any, you can row to the fisherman who sells freshly caught fish, both fresh and smoked. If you walk 300 meters on forest paths from the house, an archipelago boat goes to Dalarö, among other places, if you want to go shopping or discover other islands, but if you come by car, you will be picked up by boat by the owner. There are nice walking paths on the island for those of you who want to get around on foot. Living here is simple, but fantastic!
