This spacious holiday home, located outside of Eskilstuna, is ideal for two families or a large group of friends. It is set in a quiet area about 20 kilometres from the charming old town of Eskilstuna. The house was built in 1860 and completely renovated in 1973. It has always been owned by musicians, which you can tell from the interior. It is tastefully decorated and furnished, with furniture from different periods in history. There are all of three living rooms, one of which features an open fireplace and a grand piano. You will also find a TV and a DVD-player in one of the living rooms. Free wireless internet access is included. The kitchen is equipped with all of the amenities you need for a comfortable holiday, including a dishwasher. There's also a separate dining room. The house has five bedrooms and sleeps a total of eleven people in two double beds, one bunk bed, and five single beds. There's also a cot should you need one. The house features one lavatory with a WC and a washbasin, and one bathroom with a WC, washbasin, shower, and washing machine. The gigantic garden plot is 6000 square metres. There are many lovely beaches within 10 kilometres of the house, by lake Hjälmaren and lake Börsöknasjön. Golfing is popular in the area and there are all of five golf courses around Eskilstuna, one of which is Strands GK. Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is 112 kilometres away, a distance which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes by car. The lovely old university town of Uppsala is also within driving distance. This magical location is hard to beat if you want to experience real archipelago life! Here you live close to the sea, in the house on the mountain, it's just the stairs down to the jetties. Up here there is a terrace with a grill and cozy fire, a kitchen and a built-in family bunk bed with a wider underbed. There is also an outdoor shower on the terrace. If you go a little further out by the water there is a lovely large electric sauna with a shower and your own jetty. If you go the other way there is a fine-grained shallow sandy beach with a barbecue area and table. The beach belongs to the residents on the cape. Since the entire plot is mountain there is no water toilet, the toilet is a dry toilet with a view of the water, cozy. The rent includes a rowing boat, there are several shallows within rowing distance, so you can fish for dinner yourself. If you don't get any, you can row to the fisherman who sells freshly caught fish, both fresh and smoked. If you walk 300 meters on forest paths from the house, an archipelago boat goes to Dalarö, among other places, if you want to go shopping or discover other islands, but if you come by car, you will be picked up by boat by the owner. There are nice walking paths on the island for those of you who want to get around on foot. Living here is simple, but fantastic!

There is a sleeping alcove with a custom-built bunk bed. The kitchen is charming and fresh, equipped with a fridge and freezer, a small stove with two burners and an oven, and a small dining area. Cooking and washing up become a joy with the view over the lake. On the lake side of the cottage, there is an exit to the outdoor patio, which naturally becomes the perfect spot for meals and relaxation. In the guest house, you'll find the cottage’s toilet – an incinerating toilet – as well as a sink and shower. The guest house accommodates three people with a sofa bed and a single bed. Out by the traditional outhouse, which is freely available for use, you'll also find the cottage’s firewood storage. The area around Solvik offers plenty during the summer – from flea markets and a glassworks studio to forest hikes and walking trails. Put on your bathrobe and start your day with a dip in the lake. The cottage consists of a large living room with a well-equipped kitchen area and a dining space by the window where you can gaze down towards the waters of Hjälmaren. There is a soft and comfortable sofa where you can relax after the day's activities, perhaps watching something relaxing on the TV. At night, the sofa transforms into a comfortable bed. Additional sleeping places are available in the alcove, where there are two beds with comfortable mattresses in a bunk bed. From the alcove, you can step out onto the terrace, which has garden furniture and a grill. This is a great spot to sit in the evenings and enjoy the lovely views. The cottage's bathroom is equipped with a shower, sink and incineration toilette. Put on your bathrobe, pack a picnic basket, and take a short walk to Hjälmarebaden, where you'll find a large beach with a sandy shore, a kiosk for ice cream and sandwhiches during the summer. Explore the Sörmland area, which offers many hiking trails and nature reserves. You can drive to the Hampetorp ferry terminal and take the ferry over to Vinön. A tip is to park your car on the mainland. Vinön is an island that invites you to enjoy wonderful walks and cozy swimming spots. There are also restaurants on the island, so you won’t go hungry.Vingåker is nearby and offers a good range of services, shops, and restaurants. Welcome to cozy Årsta havsbad, an idyll in southern Stockholm, located right by the sea. The house is close to swimming and the boat jetty to Utö, here you have a sea view from the leafy balcony. The owner loves flowers and has built a fantastic oasis of roses and other fragrant and beautiful plants in the garden. There are also apple trees, pear trees, plum trees and cherry trees here, just to pick and eat. There are plenty of tomatoes growing on the large balcony, which you can also enjoy eating. The house is a 2.5-storey souterrain house. The entrance goes via a conservatory into the kitchen (note low ceiling height), from here you also get out into the garden. Half a flight of stairs up you find the two bedrooms, one with a 140cm wide bed and the other with a double bed. On this level there is also a walk in closet and a bathroom with a washing machine. Another half-stair up from here is a living room with access to the balcony. In the living room there is a Smart TV with a sound bar and selection of chanells from Allente. The house has air conditioning. There are several balconies at different levels and in all directions, around the house, totaling over 70 square meters. One is under cover and has lounge furniture and a fridge. On another spacious terrace of 30 square meters there is both a charcoal and a gas grill. In the area there are several nice baths and hiking trails and within walking distance there is a nice restaurant and kiosk. Just below the house is the bus stop. Stockholm city is approximately 30 minutes away by car. There is space to park two cars at the house. Welcome!

Here, you'll live on a farm where the owners have free-range chickens and also run a summer café, where on some evenings, various events are held that guests are welcome to attend. In a barn, the owners have built a large gathering space/bar in Viking style. The cottage is charming and has a simple kitchen for cooking, with hot and cold water in the kitchen, as well as a dining area that also includes a sofa bed for two people. In the living room/bedroom, there are two separate single beds. In a separate building, there is an electric toilet in a fresh building and a separate outdoor shower with hot and cold water. A private patio with a charcoal grill is available for you as a guest on the farm, charcoal for the grill can be purchased at a gas station or a larger grocery store. If you're traveling with a dog, you're welcome to bring your friend to the cottage; just remember to keep your dog on a leash. From Nykvarn, you can easily take the train into Stockholm if you want to experience the city for a day, and there are parking spaces available at the train station. In the area around Nykvarn, there are large forests where you can hike, pick berries and mushrooms, or simply go out and enjoy the tranquility. If you want to take a dip in one of the nearby lakes, you can do so, it's about a 10-minute drive to a couple of alternative areas where you can find both sandy beaches and swimmings piers. There are 4-5 golf courses within 40 km. A lovely house to socialize in, enjoy the sea, and recharge your batteries. Mickrum's pier a few km away has a seaside restaurant and boat fuel. There have been cases of wells drying up in the archipelago. We therefore kindly ask our guests to be careful with their water consumption, considering availability and the environment.

Here, you will stay wonderfully in the middle of the Södermanland landscape with proximity to Stockholm, which you can reach in about 1.5 hours if you want to experience the city buzz. The house is very fresh and was built a few years ago with a large furnished terrace in the best sun-facing position, offering a lovely view of the lake and greenery. Inside the house, there is a spacious living room with a dining area and a cozy sofa corner, as well as a kitchen area. There is one bedroom with a double bed and a smaller room with a child's bed for children up to 50 kg. The bathroom has a shower and toilet and is also equipped with a washing machine. From the living room, there is a loft ladder leading up to a sleeping loft with two beds. This is not suitable for small children as the ladder is very steep. Right below the house, you have a private dock where you can swim, sunbathe, or simply sit and enjoy the view of the lake. Around Lake Båven, there are several hiking trails and nature reserves. Put on your hiking boots and go for a hike or rent a canoe in Skebokvarn and explore the lake. If you are a golfer, the beautiful Stjärnhov Golf Club is about a 20-minute drive from the cottage. Pets are welcome in this house, but please keep your dog on a leash as there are other dogs in the neighboring house. The house has three bedrooms, which have no doors but curtains that can be drawn. There is a nice kitchen with a dishwasher, induction hob, and good work surfaces. There is a bathroom with a shower and toilet in the hall. The house's patio wraps around the entire house, so you can follow the sun or shade, whichever you prefer. The property is a forest plot located high up with a view of a bird lake, where a pair of swans have lived for several years. Other bird species and wild animals can also be seen in the meadow. The house is located between Järna and Nykvarn in beautiful Sörmland. The house is secluded and quiet, offering a peaceful vacation in the countryside. If you want to experience more, there is plenty to do; the Sörmlandsleden trail is nearby if you like hiking, and Lake Yngeln is 5 km from the house, where there is both nudist and regular swimming. The beach is wonderful and shallow, with swings for the children. If you want to go to Stockholm, the easiest way is to park your car at Järna in the long-term parking lot and take the commuter train to the big city. Cycling in Sörmland is nice, there are many small roads in the countryside.
