There lies a Viking ship, where 246 bodies were found after the Battle of Foteviken. In Falsterbo and Skanör, there are many popular restaurants, cozy inns, and stalls selling fresh fish during the summer. There are also nice walking areas in Ljunghusen, several nice golf courses, mini-golf, and cycling trails. You can also visit at least 2 vineyards. Something to explore while in the area is also Bjärehalvön, which is known for its potato fields, and it's not uncommon for the first new potatoes of the season to be delivered from here.
