Welcome to a fresh cottage built in 2019 in the nice, coastal cottage area of Adriansnäs in the middle between the towns of Västervik and Oskarshamn. Welcoming hall, open plan with family room and kitchen. State-of-the-art kitchen with all equipment such as dishwasher and kitchen island with bar stools for e.g. an early cup of coffee, large substantial dining table with plenty of space. The common room part has a cozy seating area and flat-screen TV. There is also a large glass area with access to the large balcony (approx. 30 sqm). Perfect place with outdoor furniture and barbecue for both sunny, lazy days and warm pleasant evenings with dinner. The house has three bedrooms, one slightly larger with a double bed and two slightly smaller with a bunk bed in each. WC/shower room with plenty of space, underfloor heating, washing machine and very tastefully decorated. At the front of the house there is a garden and on the other sides of the house smaller grass areas for play and games. About 400 m from the house there is a public playground with associated soccer field. The well-arranged sandy beach with sauna is about 1 km on small village roads. The beach is very child-friendly with a long shallow sandy beach, jetties, jumping tower, playground equipment, seating, outdoor gym and nice grassy areas. Here at the swimming area there is also a sauna that can be booked for the cottage area. It also includes a simple rowing boat which is about 1 km from the cottage. Bring your own life jackets. There are also 2 bicycles (for adults) belonging to the cottage. Please bring bicycles for the children. Please note that the cabin is not rented for more than 6 people and not for hunting or fishing. It is also important that guests bring their own sheets and duvet covers. Not allowed to charge electric cars. In the area there are many pleasant hiking trails and paths in wonderful nature close to the sea. Along the coast there are several small charming communities and villages. The cities of Oskarshamn and Västervik, both about 35-45 km away, are well worth a visit with both shopping and picturesque city centers. Notice, that there are no grocery stores near the cottage, so (if possible) shop in advance at least for supper and for breakfast the next day. Not too far to the "Glasriket" with several classic glassworks. It is about 80 km to Astrid Lindgren's World. Perhaps a must for the slightly younger ones. The dining area is comfortable and from this you can sit and look out over the road to the surroundings of the house. Adjacent there is also a dining room for setting up a nice dinner together, just as you did in Småland in the past when you had nice visitors. Down here there are also 2 living rooms, one with a comfortable seating area where you can sit down and watch TV or take a midday nap and the other with comfortable chairs where you can sit down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a good book in hand or with relaxing music in your ears. On the ground floor there is also a toilet with sink, as well as a sauna and a separate shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. One has a nice, big one double bed and in the second there are 4 good single beds placed. In the hall between the two bedrooms is there also a day bed if someone in the party feels like recuperating a bit in the middle of the day. About 2 km away is a fantastically beautiful lake and a very well-arranged small swimming area with both a sandy beach and jetty. In the forests around your house, there are plenty of mushrooms and berries. In addition, you have a very good chance of encountering the forest's king, the moose. Short excursions can, for example, take you to the alpine hill Isaberg (40 km), which is also worth visiting in summer. Longer day trips can take you to the big cities of Gothenburg, Borås and Jönköping as well as to Astrid Lindgren's World on the east coast. Welcome to this red croft in Småland's cozy forests with a wonderful view of Lake Kvistagyl. The house is perfect for those interested in nature or for those who are looking for peace and quiet. Here you can take the day as it comes, angling down in the lake or go hiking on the fields. When you enter the house you are met by a spacious hall and from there you have a bedroom on the left with a double sofa bed and an extra bed. The living room has TV, comfortable furniture and a beautiful wood burning stove from 19th century that gives a cozy atmosphere if any evening would feel a little bleak. Here you can sit down with a good book and really relax. Please note that there is no wifi in this cottage. From the living room you move on to the kitchen which has both induction hob, dishwasher and even a wood stove. and bedrooms. At the kitchen table you can go out on the large terrace and enjoy your breakfast there while looking out over the lake. The bedroom is bright and feels spacious, also here you have a view of the lake.The bathroom is bright and airy with toilet, shower and washing machine. The lake below the house is not a direct swimming lake, but it is up to everyone if you want to swim there. Lake with good shallow bathing area is about 10 km away; Sandören, with jetty and sandy beach. In Häradsbäck 4km away there is a café with a restaurant that is well worth a visit. This delightful holiday home is set outside of the village of Odensvi on the coast of Småland. Idyllic and traditional, yet offering modern comforts, this is a great place for a family. The area offers a lot of fun and entertainment for families with small children. The house features a spacious entrance hall and two family rooms, both located on the bottom floor. One of the family rooms features a large, comfortable dining area, the other features a sofa and opens into the lovely conservatory. This is a wonderful place to dine or to just relax with a cup of tea. The well-equipped kitchen is modern and features a little kitchen table and a dish washer. The bathroom features a WC and a shower. Washing machine included. A winding staircase will take you up to the second floor with it's three large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed. There is also a carport. Fruit trees and a large, beautiful lawn surround the house. It is set rather high and offers a lovely view of the open landscape. The nearest neighbour lives a kilometre away. The forest is right next to you, offering berry picking, mushrooming and animal sightings (elk, deer, fox etc). It's a quick three-kilometre drive to the public beach with it's shallow water, sandy beach, bathing dock and bathing ladder. The coast is about 22 kilometres away, should you feel like swimming in the sea. Småland is known for it's scenic nature with big forests and many lakes. Don't forget to visit the lovely town Västervik which is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World, also circa 35 kilometres away. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? Welcome to this delightful holiday home in the south of Småland! The pretty cottage is set in the small village of Kalvshaga and is surrounded by fruit trees and shrubbery. There's a roofed terrace as well as a garden with outdoor furniture and a garden grill. On the bottom floor, there's a small kitchen with all of the necessary amenities, such as an electric cooker. There's also a wood-burning stove in the kitchen. The kitchen, dining room, and entrance hall are all open-plan. The living room features an open fireplace, which you are welcome to use, and there's also free wireless internet access. In the bathroom, you will find a WC and a washbasin. The bathroom can also be accessed from the outside of the house. The shower is in a separate building, 10 metres from the cottage. On the bottom floor, you will also find one bedroom with two beds. The upper floor has low ceilings (190 centimetres). Up here you will find three single beds. In the village, there's a dock where you'll find the boat that is included in the rent. Lake Åsnen is well known for it's excellent fishing possibilities. You can buy a fishing permit from the next-door neighbour. Bird watchers will be happy to know there's a variety of birds in the area, falcons, eagles, and osprey, for instance. Kalvsvik is four kilometres from the cottage and features a lovely bathing spot with bathing docks. You have access to four bicycles so why not take them to the nature reserve in Bjurkärr? Another beautiful place to visit is Huseby bruk, 15 kilometres away, with it's castle and it's ironworks museum. There's also an inn, a café, a nature reserve, and an observation tower. Here you have three balconies in different climates where you can enjoy. Fire up the grill on a warm summer evening to enjoy a delicious dinner with something good in the glass. The house has an open floor plan, with a large living room where you have a kitchen, dining area and living room in front of the TV. There is a pellet stove here that can be fired with your own pellets (not firewood). There is both Playstation and table football which can be fun for the whole family. You have three bedrooms, one with a comfortable double bed, the other two with two single beds each. Out in the small annex at the back of the house are two more single beds (there is no heating here). The house has a large and delicious bathroom with shower, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a guest toilet with WC and sink. You have only 200m to the sea and a fine sandy beach. As Oknö is an island, there are also several good swimming beaches in different directions from the house. Oknö is a holiday idyll and here there is a lot to do and mini golf, tennis courts. At the campsite, there is a restaurant, playground, bike/scooter rental, sauna, gym and a small kiosk/shop. You also have a jumping tower and a restaurant at the Vass Oknö pub. In Mönsterås there is a slightly larger selection of restaurants, shops, a golf course and a popular water palace. Welcome to this beautiful architect designed holiday home which is build with care and class, with an amazing garden and relaxation area along with a rentable sauna and whirlpool. The bright living room is combined with the kitchen, and there is also here where can access the large patio which faces south/west where you can overlook the nature and a large pond, where you can find salmon and crayfish. The owner has thought of the lightning in this holiday home, so as much light possible comes in during the bright month of the year, but there are also many different light sources which makes it very accretive even during winter when it is dark. In the holiday home there are 2 bedrooms with comfortable beds. There is a double bed in the first bedroom and a bunk bed in the second where you can sleep up to three people, two on lower bed (130cm wide) and one on the top berth. Here you can also get access to an extra folding bed. In the beautiful bathroom you can find the whirlpool ready, if you want a relaxing moment or enjoy your holiday. The holiday home is largely suitable for disabled people; it is easy to access the holiday home and move around inside the house, and the beautiful patio is perfectly connected with the living room. One of the best things about this holiday home is the outdoor environment. Your holiday home is located on a large lawn which is perfect for play and games. Moreover are the plot and the neighbor/owners plot somewhat of a botanical garden. The owner is very interested in plants so therefore are there several beautiful areas, places and plantations. So if you are interested in gardens and plants, do not hesitate to ask the owner for a tour. The closest house is approximately 50m away, and there is where the owner lives. The abundant vegetation, the good setting of the holiday home and the large green areas makes this holiday home feel very private. Next to the houses there is relaxing area located where you can find an amazing sauna with relaxing-room on a huge patio, and on this patio there is a big outdoor whirlpool with room for everybody. This whirlpool has always a temperature of 39 degrees. If you wish, you can rent the relaxation area directly by the owner on site. The closest natural bathing spot is by the beautiful river Emån, about 700m away. Here someone has built a swimming area which is perfectly ok for a dip. The closest distance to Emån is approximately 400m and is perfect if you would like to do some fishing (fishing with fishing rod is free). If you would like a bigger beach there is one only 3km away, alternative a 1,5km walk in the forest to the beautiful lake Vallsjön. Your holiday home is located in the lovely village Rödja on the Smålänska highlands. This is a perfect starting point for discovering most of Småland such as “the world of Astrid Lindgren” and the glassworks. It is also located close to the cities Jönköpnig, Nässjö and Vetlanda. The closest city is Sävsjö (10km) and in this lovely town you will find most what you need during your stay. The house is on one level and partly open plan. Two substantial bedrooms, one with a double bed and an extra bed. The other with two single beds. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and dining area. Fresh WC/shower area. From the kitchen there is a partially open part with so-called bar facing the large, pleasant family room. There is plenty of room for everyone with seating, flat-screen TV, DVD and separate fine dining furniture. Perfect for both lovely get-togethers and nice dinners. The family room also has a direct exit to the 49 m² the balcony where about half is covered. Absolutely wonderful place both sunny lazy days and nice warm evenings. The balcony has both sun loungers and outdoor furniture and mini table for the youngest. Partly around the grounds, large, nice lawns for play and games. To one of the area's most beautiful lakes, Vindommen, it is approx. 1.3 km. Feel free to try your luck fishing, the lake has recognized good fishing for perch, pike and zander. Weekly fishing licenses are bought in the resort. Right next to it is the small family beach with a shallow sandy beach, jetties and bathing ladder. The cottage is located with a beautiful view of open fields, meadows and the large forest just outside. In the right season, plenty of both mushrooms and berries. With a bit of luck you see moose, deer, foxes and hares, especially early in the morning. Out it is about 20 km to the coast. Many possibilities for renting a boat, paddling canoe or just swim and roam. Fishing is free in the entire Baltic Sea. As day trips there is a lot to do. Definitely worth a visit the coastal towns of Västervik, Valdemarsvik or Söderköping. All very much picturesque and with many events during the summer. To get to the far end of the sea band with all the islands, you can follow along mail boats that make longer and shorter trips. To the bigger cities Norrköping and Linköping take about 1.5 hours by car and there are big ones here shopping centers and lots to see. A must for the slightly younger ones is perhaps a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby or Kolmården's Zoo and both places take about 1.5 hours by car.
