Welcome to a cozy accommodation with only 50 meters to Lake Örken. This cottage is one of three built in 2002. The cottage is also called "Uttern" and has an open floor plan between the kitchen and living room. The kitchen has most things you could need. A perfect accommodation for the small family who wants to live with the lake next door and close to the forest and the tranquility outside. In the house there is only cold water, fresh and clear from its own well.The plot is audibly lush natural plot with a view of the lake between the trees. One bedroom has a double bed and in the other there is a bunk bed. Adjacent to the living room is a covered terrace. The bathroom with sink and separett-toilet. Access to shower is available in onecommon space about 30 meters from the cottage. Örken is a good fishing lake and a nice swimming lake with several sandy beaches. It glimpses the lake between the trees from the cottage. A rowing boat is available for rent SEK 500 / week. Fishing license required. High chair and babybed are available to book on site. For the adventurous there is the opportunity to go zipline through LittleRock Lake which is a nature center in the area. If you want to make an excursion it is about 1 hour drive to Astrid Lindgren's World and to the Kingdom of Glass in Kosta and Orrefors. Here you'll have lovely fruit trees and a lawn. You may rent a row boat from the owner and you can also buy a weekly fishing permit in the village. Close distances to both Vimmerby and Västervik. In Vimmerby you'll have Astrid Lindgrens theme park which is a wonderful experience for the children. Västervik is a local costal summer town that hosts an annual folk song festival.

Here you will find a country house with 70’s-style interior design. The house is in a peaceful area close to nature where it allows you to enjoy the solitude of the countryside. The surrounding area offers several nice walking trails. In Lake Djupsjön, 1000 m away, you can go for a swim during a hot summer day or relax for a while and go fishing. On a vacation during late summer and autumn you may go hunting, but the host needs to be contacted regarding this in advance. Kindly observe there is no rental to groups of young people!

In Skruv, you will find a nice bathing lake where you can also buy a fishing license and go fishing. The kitchen is a compact kitchenette equipped with hotplates, a coffee maker, and a microwave. In the living room, there is an open fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere and invites you to relaxing evenings if the weather turns chilly. The cottage dates back to the 1800s and has preserved its historic charm. The ceiling height upstairs is 185 cm, typical for houses of that time. Please note that the staircase to the upper floor is steep. Upstairs, under the sloping ceiling, you will find two bedrooms: one with two single beds and one with a double bed. The fresh bathroom was renovated in 2003 and includes a toilet, shower, and washing machine. Outside in the garden, there is a lovely patio where you can fire up the grill on a warm summer evening — and with a bit of luck, you might even spot a moose at the edge of the forest. An excursion to the various glassworks in Emmaboda, Kosta, and Nybro — with shopping in several outlet stores — is usually a popular activity. In Lessebo, you can shop and also visit the old paper mill to see paper being produced in the traditional way. You will be staying in the famous “Emigrant district,” an area strongly influenced by Wilhelm Moberg’s story The Emigrants and the lives of the people who once lived here. Your house has a practical interior, with kitchen and living room downstairs and a stairway leading up to two bedrooms, as well as a pleasant balcony with great views over the lake. A rowing boat can be rented weekly for nice fishing trips on the lake. A lovely beach is available with grill area and kiosk. Your holiday location is a very nice area with lots of lakes close by. Fishing licenses can be bought at the nearby boat center. You can also try guided cultural and fishing trips, which you will find more information about in the house.

The living room on the ground floor has a pull-out bed with place for two. However, the maximum number of people in the house is 6. The large terrace with roof is a wonderful place to sit and cuddle. Here you can look at the game and the cattle that walk on the other side of the small road. There is also a horse paddock further away where children can pet the horses. The house has free wifi via fiber. Visit Kalmar with Kalmar Castle and cross the Öland Bridge to beautiful Öland with its large summer country and Zoo. A full day excursion to Astrid Lindgren's world at Vimmerby is an appreciated excursion for the children. The archipelago islands along the coast in Östra Småland are a wonderful experience as well as the beautiful old Strandvägen to Mönsterås. The nearest lake is Hindsjön (approx. 10 km).

This spacious holiday home, set in the small village of Odensvi, was renovated in 2017. The floors are new, wooden floors. On the bottom floor, you will find two entrances, one of which has a veranda. The large kitchen features the necessary kitchen appliances. In the living room, you'll find a sofa and a flat-screen TV. The bathroom was built in 2017 and features a WC, a washbasin, and a shower. There's also one bedroom on the bottom floor, it is equipped with two single beds. On the second floor, you'll find two bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with two single beds . Both bedrooms have a lot of wardrobe- and storage space. The spacious garden is all of 2000 square metres and has a lovely lawn and many fruit trees. The lake is only 600 metres from the house and this is where the boat is docked. Why not go fishing for pike and bass? You can buy a fishing permit in town. There's a public bathing area about five kilometres away, in Odensvi. It has a sandy beach, bathing docks, a bathing ladder, and shallow water. The sea is 18 kilometres away, a 20-minute drive through the scenic landscape of Småland, with it's beautiful forests and open landscapes. You have good chances of spotting elk, deer, and fox. The forests are rife with berries and mushrooms and there are a number of pretty lakes in the area. The closest grocery store is in Odensvi, five kilometres from the house. The picturesque town of Västervik offers a shopping centre and many different events in the summertime. It's 46 kilometres away. Vimmerby is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? The Kingdom of Crystal, Glasriket, is another interesting destination. Visit the author's childhood home before stepping into the world of her stories. Småland is lush with an untouched, natural countryside and multitudes of hidden coves out on the lakes, A fisherman's dream with plenty to catch, the cottage is complete with an outside grill set to cook your catch. Welcome to live a stone's throw from the beautiful lake Örken. In the summer, the lake quickly warms up and with simple steps across the road you are there. The cottage is one of three located next to each other. Each cottage has its own plot with lush nature next door. The cottage is called The Goose by the homeowner and you see the wooden sign that welcomes you. The cottage is red with white knots and has an open floor plan. Decor is of a slightly older style and homely. The kitchen has most things you could need. Hot water can be boiled in a kettle. One bedroom with a double bed and the second bedroom has 2 single beds 90cm wide. The bathroom is a modern variant of seperate. Shower is in the common building which is shared with the other three houses about 20 m away. You can glimpse the lake through the trees and you are easily there for a morning or evening dip. Magical sunsets and find the serenity that ensues. The nature reserve Braås park is a well-visited and popular excursion destination with varied nature. Here you will find pebble sauce, pastures, deciduous forests and coniferous forests. Welcome!
