Beautifully furnished cottage in scenic surroundings where you can enjoy the peace, the meadows, the lake and the forest. Here in Torsebo, you live perfectly for pleasant forest walks with only 700m to the lake. By the lake there is a pier where you can fish and outdoor furniture where you can sit down and enjoy. There are a number of day trips if you wish. You have 50km to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby. In Målilla moose park you can experience the moose up close. At Axelssons in Aby, you can pick strawberries and raspberries when the season permits. The house has two patios. One with a completely secluded location at the back where you have a magical view. Sometimes you can also see cows grazing outside. The front patio overlooks the yard. The interior of the house feels typically Swedish with inspiration from Carl Larsson's paintings and is very pleasant here. You have a large, beautiful living room with a sofa group. In the kitchen there is a dining area and most everything you might need. You sleep in a bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed and in an attic bedroom on the upper floor with two beds. Note that the bathroom is positioned as a passage room to get to the upper floor. The house is therefore perhaps best suited for a family. The owner of the house, who lives in the large house next door, is previously celebrated for his hospitality, his fine manners and his keen sense of space and tranquility. There are nice swimming spots in Virserum, Lillesjö near Mörlunda and Hesjön near Målilla. You are close to Dackestupet, where there are hiking trails, trail running, barbecue hut, viewpoint, swimming area and mountain bike tracks. Also don't miss More Kastell, the eight km long mighty gorge. It is 50 km to Oskarshamn, here there are nice bathing spots by the sea, restaurants and shopping. There are also day trips by boat to Öland. It is also close to the Kingdom of Glass. Virserum (10km) has a grocery store, art gallery, beautiful herb garden, café, playground and here you can go dressage cycling.

Stay in a charming and carefully renovated croft from the end of the 19th century, where rural idyll meets seaside tranquility. Here you live with a large patio and spacious garden, just 600 meters from the beautiful sea environment and beach meadows. The croft is efficiently planned with a nice living room that has a spacious sofa group, armchair, TV and fireplace (fireplace not allowed). On the lower floor there is a bedroom with two beds, and the kitchen is fully equipped with a cozy dining area, even if the dishes are done by hand. From the kitchen, a steep staircase leads up to the loft where there are four beds. The opening to the loft can be closed with a hatch, but keep an eye on children when it is open. In the hallway next to the living room there is a small work area with a door, perfect if you need a moment of privacy for reading or computer work. In the basement there is a pantry. The house has two entrances, the front of which is at ground level with only one low step. As a genuine croft, the house offers charming details and low doorposts, something to watch out for for taller guests. The garden has outdoor furniture and a barbecue, and from here you are close to both the sea and nature. A short walk takes you down to the place that the locals call “Källan”, the old spa town where you can enjoy the open view of Kalmarsund. From here you can follow the Möreleden path along the water to Ekenäs, about two kilometers away, with its picturesque buildings, guest harbor and fine bathing area with sandy beach, jetties, kiosk and artisan bakery (limited opening hours). At Ekenäs there is also a wood-fired sauna for rent, with a bathing jetty and barbecue area next to it. For the family, Vita Sand is a popular excursion, just half a mile away, with a shallow sandy beach, large bathing jetty, playground, trampolines, cable car, mini golf, street food and ice cream parlor. The area offers many walking trails and hiking trails, and in the fall there are plenty of mushrooms in the forests for the connoisseur. Nearby you will find the nature reserves of Värnanäs, Högasand and Ölands Alvar, which are a World Heritage Site. If you want to make day trips, Kalmar, Öland, Kristianopel, Karlskrona, the Kingdom of Glass and Blomlöfs fish smokehouse in Brömsebro are within easy reach. You are also close to several restaurants, including Stufvenäs Gästgiveri and Spa, Villa Famiglia (seasonal) with its Mediterranean-inspired menu and Möre golf course with its associated golf restaurant. There is room for up to six people, but the house is most comfortable for two to four. The bus stop is just a minute's walk away, making it easy to get to Kalmar or other excursion destinations. The nearby road (old E22) is used by both local and some through traffic, but significantly less than when it was a main road. A cozy cottage with history, sea breeze and proximity to both nature and experiences, perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy the Småland coastal life.

In the fantastic highlands of Småland you will find this newly built fantastic cottage. With a wonderful view from the living room, dining room and the large balcony, you will spend the days here with advantage, whether in summer, spring or autumn. 30 meters down you have the lake and your own private jetty, the rowing boat is also included in the rent. Bathe, fish, swim to the local swing area 200m away and use the jumping tower that’s there. Or just enjoy looking out over the beautiful little lake. The house's common areas, such as the kitchen, living room and dining room, all face the lake and the large balcony. A large part of the balcony is under cover, so if the weather is against you, you can still use the lovely patio. Garbage sorting and recycling is applied here, see more info about this in the house. On the first floor, you have a bedroom with a double bed 160 cm and a bedroom with a pull-out bed that is 80/160 cm. (this bed is mainly intended for children and has slightly thinner mattresses than the other beds) Here is also the large bathroom, with washing machine /dryer. Upstairs you have a sleeping loft with two single beds (90cm) that can be placed next to each other if desired, as well as a 120 bed. In the small guest cabin, which has its own small patio, there is a sofa bed that is 140 cm wide. The rowing boat is included in the rent and there is also a range of different life jackets to borrow if needed, both children and adult sizes up to 90 kg. There is fiber in the house as well as a smart TV if you feel like watching something other than the fantastic view. With this wonderful location, it may happen that you have everything you need for your holiday right here. But should you fancy an excursion, Jönköping is a little over 40 km away, Isaberg Mountain Resort and High Chaparral 80 km away, and Astrid Lindgren's host about 100 km away. There is also a lot to do in the immediate area, experience nature on foot or by bike, there are cozy restaurants and cafes here. And also take the opportunity to visit Boda borg in Sävsjö, only a little over 20 km away.
