The cottage is surrounded by a big, beautiful garden and lake Gölen is just 100 metres away. By the lake, you will find the rowing boat that is included. Fishing for pike and bass is free of charge. The small lake lays behind the trees but you can glimpse it during colder months. The area offers plenty to see and do. Visit the elk park, Vrigstad Älgpark, which is 16 kilometres away! Or make a day trip to Boda Borg in Sävsjö, 14 km, fun for people of all ages! IThe charming town of Vimmerby is 110 kilometres away. This area is the setting of many of Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books such as Emil of Lönneberga. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World. Katthult and Bullerbyn are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? For a nice swim in the sea, just follow the path down to the shallow sandy beach with a bathing jetty. There are wonderful walkways along the sea for relaxing walks and beneficial runs. The house has a stylish modern kitchen with dishwasher and most of what you could possibly need. Meals can be enjoyed on the terrace where there is a dining group with position chairs with comfortable cushions. Blankets are available for slightly cooler evenings. An awning is available if shade is desired. There is also outdoor furniture at the back where you can enjoy the secluded location and the beautiful natural view. The dining area has a large dining table with plenty of space and a fantastic view. The living room has a spacious fresh sofa with armchair where you can cozy up in front of the stove with a lit fire. There are also 2 comfortable reading chairs to lean back in. The house has 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. A folding extra bed is available that can be placed in the room with the double bed or in the living room. The fresh bathroom has underfloor heating, toilet, washbasin, shower cabin as well as a washing machine and a laundry bench with sink. There is a chest of drawers full of board games and a box out in the garden with various racks, balls, croquet that attracts board games. There is a lot to explore in Timmernabben which is a small idyll in itself. There is a fantastic fish smokehouse with summer restaurant 1 km from the house, where you can enjoy good food and drink in the genuine archipelago environment. Good pizzas can be found at the pizzeria 1 km away. The campsite with larger bathing area, playground and mini golf is next door. Popular paddle courts are available before the campsite (Stranda TK). Outdoor gyms and exercise trails are 2.5 miles away. Also visit Timmernabben's pride, the small caramel factory "Råsnäs Confectionery" where you can buy fresh freshly made sweets. Picturesque Pataholm is an enjoyable excursion destination with small shops in unique old-fashioned surroundings. You are also close to Oskarshamn, Kalmar and Öland. You live in an idyllic, scenic environment with the sea right next door and can take a trip down to the sea in just your bathrobe to enjoy a morning swim down by the jetty with a bathing ladder or at the charming little sandy beach if desired. The perfect place to experience nature's spectacle across Kalmar Sound with Öland on the horizon and the island of Garpen with its beautiful lighthouse. You have two glazed conservatories equipped with infrared heating where you can enjoy well into the evening. The one with a magical view. In the living room there is a dining area and armchairs to lean back in. Here there is a simpler kitchen part with a kitchenette equipped with a bench stove, two hotplates and a fridge/freezer. There is plenty of equipment for cooking and crockery. Water is not in the kitchen area, but in the house's separate washroom. In the main house there is a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. There is also a pull-out bed under the bed if needed. There is a smaller walk-through room with sliding doors where there is a built-in bunk bed with junior beds that are 180 cm long. If more beds are needed, there is a simpler small guest house on the plot with two bunk beds. Toilet with sink, wc and shower of a slightly simpler standard. In the garden there is outdoor furniture made of plastic, a couple of sun loungers and a barbecue grill. In the pleasant cottage area there is a summer restaurant, kiosk, mini golf course, playground, football goal, barbecue area and large swimming area. The nearest town is Bergkvara (4.6 km), where there are more restaurants, a grocery store and a paddling hall. Skäppevik is perfectly located for various excursion destinations if desired. You are close to the sun and the windy island of Öland for sun and swimming as well as Öland's zoo. Kristianopel, 16 km away, is a small town well worth a visit with its small shops, restaurants and popular cafes. Kalmar offers attractions such as Kalmar Castle and the Kalmar County Museum. Skälby farm with fun playgrounds and close contact with the farm's animals is usually a popular excursion destination for families with children. The world heritage military town of Karlskrona has a lot to offer. 11 km to Möre golf club for those interested in golf.

You go here to get relaxation close to nature. Here are fantastic berry and mushroom forests and wild strawberries along the endless gravel roads. Here you get birds, foxes, deer and even Icelandic horses close by and you live next door to nice birch groves. Around the cottage there are interesting surroundings, including the nature reserve Prästanäset. For those who want more and other activities, it is not far to Växjö which is a city full of activities, restaurants and culture. The owners have preserved the cottage almost as it may once have looked. In the spring of 2021, a completely new bathroom was built. The cottage has a large and cozy living room with a sofa bed and dining table. The sofa bed is best suited for 2 children to sleep in, not 2 adults. In the living room there is no TV or anything else that disturbs, but here there is time for socializing or to curl up on the couch and read a good book in the evening. The bedroom has a double bed and a bunk bed for 2 people. The bunk beds are 105 cm each. Next to the bedroom is the kitchen. Good to know is that the owners of the cottage live next door to the cottage, but you still feel with the help of a fence that you have your own plot with little visibility. Welcome to Ängslyckan as this cottage is called. The cottage is located on a farm surrounded by grazing cows and also has a dance band track right next door. Here is everything a family with children wants. Large lawn that invites you to play, close to the bathing area and beautiful surroundings. You are welcomed directly into the living room which is bright with nice furnishings. There is a dining table with room for 4 people and comfortable armchairs. On the left you have a bedroom with two single beds. To the right is the small kitchenette where there are two hotplates on one side. On the other there is a bench stove with oven which also has two hotplates. Then you have a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Inside you will find the cottage's second bedroom with a bed of 140cm. Outside there is a barbecue area for pleasant evenings under starry skies. Out here in the countryside it is incredibly nice sunset and very open spaces. The homeowners live in the house next door and are happy to help. Inside the barn called "Sägnernas hus" is a dance band lodge / gathering place and you can also pre-book food / café from the homeowners. In the area there is also a magical little museum about the essence of the former "Folktromuséum". This is something for both children and adults. In the area there are fish-rich rivers, lakes and rivers where fishing licenses are required. If you like to walk and roam in nature, there are nice hiking trails. Take a trip to Ekhagen's ancient village in Åsarp or play golf at one of Sweden's oldest golf courses in a castle environment; Ryfors GK. Here you have a place that must be experienced. The closeness to Kalmar and Öland also makes it an excellent starting point for discovering the region.

Now you have the chance to rent the village's old fashion store. History has been created in this house! People used to go here to buy and sew their clothes. The shop premises with its shop windows are still there, but now function as an extra room if you are many who want to live in the house. This is a house for those of you who are focused on exploring the surroundings and are indulgent with the standard indoors. The house is furnished in an older charming style so it's like moving back in time. Good to know is that the house is located in a village near a road but has a secluded leafy back with outdoor furniture. On the ground floor there are two entrances. If you use it at the back of the house, you will enter the kitchen directly. There is a small kitchen table where you can sit and eat your breakfast and enjoy the morning sun. Adjacent is the living room which has a sofa group and a dining table for four to six people. At the bottom floor there are also two bedrooms. A smaller one with a single bed and a larger one that may be used more if necessary. The room is used a bit as storage, but there is a bed. Upstairs there is the house's bathroom with bath and there is a large bedroom with room for two to sleep. In the hall or passage room up here, a single bed is also located. We may recommend the house for four people, but there are definitely opportunities if there are more! There is access to a washing machine and hanging facilities in the house next door. You rent this house if you want to live with a little house around you and want to be close to a service shop. In the village and the surrounding area there are many attractions. A must is to visit Korrö which has a fine restaurant with locally produced ingredients and fantastic nature. From here you can also rent and paddle a canoe. Just two away is Tingsryd and here are several shops and the famous discount department store Börjes. There is also a good swimming area and an adventure pool / swimming pool. For those of you who like to be in nature, it is close to Åsnen National Park where you can cycle and hike among lots of sights. Less than an hour's drive away you are down by the sea and can visit Karlskrona, Ronneby and Karlshamn which are really nice summer gems! If you want to go to a bigger city, it is only 40 km to Växjö.

In the middle of rural, scenic surroundings is this newly renovated small cottage. The cottage is located outside the small community Tenhult. Here you experience rural Sweden but only 20km from Jönköping which is Sweden's 10 largest city. You get the best of both, live with the forest around you but close to town and all it has to offer. The house consists of a kitchen and dining area that is open to the living room. In the living room there is a bed that can be used as an 80 bed or 160, as well as a sofa bed. The sofa bed has a tempur mattress and is according to the owner the best bed in the house. In addition to the double bed in the sofa bed, it is possible to have a small 70cm mattress on the sofa for eg a small child. There is a bedroom with a single bed that you walk through to reach the large newly renovated bathroom. In the cottage there is the possibility for guests to bring your boxer card from home and connect to the TV The patio is perhaps the best with this nice cottage, on the large terrace with glass railing you have a fantastic view of the area as the house is located on a hill away from the other houses. There are horses in the area and there is the possibility of riding by arrangement and at an additional cost. From the cottage you are close to the A6 shopping center, A6 golf course, excursion destinations such as Visings Ö and Gränna. Rosenlund's adventure pool is also located in Jönköping. Other: There are horses in the area. Horse riding can be arranged upon request and an additional fee. Highchair can be arranged on request.

On the eastern coast just outside Mönsterås lies the archipelago island of Oknö. At Oknö there is a fantastic well-preserved nature that offers both hiking and cycling trails.If you are looking for bathing places you have found the right one. Oknö offers child-friendly beaches, jumping towers, marine outings, trampolines, jetties, sun decks and sandy beaches, perfect for those who are bathing. In this charming and modernly renovated cottage you are close to everything Oknö has to offer. The cottage is located in the middle between Lillön and Storön and you are close to water on both sides. Not far from the cottage is a campsite where there is a playground, swimming area, a small shop and a restaurant.In addition, you are only 8 km in to Mönsterås and its range of shops and restaurants.The cottage is small, but well-planned for 4 people, with an airy kitchen adjacent to the living area which also contains the sofa bed where 2 of the sleeping places are. But in the summer you want to be out as much as possible and this cottage takes care of it with a large lovely terrace with great views of the sea.
