Welcome to this attractive holiday home, set in stunning surroundings, in the heart of Sweden. It is located in in a quiet residential area, only a short walk from several lovely bathing spots. The cottage features an open-plan kitchen and living room. The stylish kitchen features all of the amenities you need and the living room has a comfortable sofa bed for two. There are two bedrooms, one of which has two single beds. The other bedroom has a bunk bed. In the bathroom, you'll find a WC, washbasin, shower, and washing machine. The spacious terrace features a bath barrel for eight people which you are welcome to use from May through August. If you are visiting during the rest of the year, please note that you must book the bath barrel separately and pay the fee directly to the owner. The terrace also has outdoor furniture and there's a great barbecue area in the garden. Use of the carport is included in the rent. The area offers excellent fishing possibilities. Please note that you need different fishing permits for different lakes. The closest village is Örserum, where there's a grocery store and a restaurant. Gränna is a short drive away. Gränna is a charming little town that is known for it's stripy, hard candy canes, “Polkagrisar”, and you can visit the small factory and see how they are made. From Gränna you can catch a boat to the charming island of Visingsö, where you can ride in a horse-drawn carriage all around the island. Welcome to this wonderful holiday home!

Welcome to this lovely cottage with a fantastic view over the beautiful lake "Vättern" and open fields. The cottage is located on the farm: Vretaholm Säteri. For those who are interested in animals, there are cows in the pastures around. The lovely garden has plenty of place to play and hang out. The house consists of two floors. On the first floor you will find the hall with a comfortable armchair. Two bathrooms, in one there is a shower. All four bedrooms are located on the first floor. There are two single beds in each bedroom. Upstairs you will find a large family room with an open kitchen with complete equipment. There is a door to a large balcony with a fantastic view of Lake Vättern. In the family room there is a cozy wood-burning stove with a comfortable sofa group and plenty of space to socialize. The room is hunting inspired with stately trophies on the walls. Fiber is available in the house. Nearby you will find the wonderful city "Gränna" with its famous polkagris production and cozy atmosphere. From here you can also take the ferry out to Visingsö if you want to make an excursion. In Gränna and on Visingsö there are farm cafes, flea markets and cozy shops. If you want to do other excursions, the Bauerleden, Grännaberget are recommended, visit Girabäcken and take "magical boat tours" in Bunn. Keep in mind that Vretaholm is an active farm, so tractors and people moving in the yard. Cottage guests do not have access to the barn, other outbuildings or the main building. Welcome to Virsjödal, just outside the beautiful coastal community of Figeholm! The entrance to the house goes through the cozy and mostly glazed porch. The house contains a living room with a comfortable large sofa and flat screen TV with many channels via Viasat. Nice, fresh kitchen with small dining area. Two bedrooms, one slightly larger with two single beds and the other slightly smaller with a single bed. Inside the house there is a fully tiled fresh WC. Wall to wall with WC is a large shower area with washing machine which is accessed via a separate entrance from the end of the house. Also here in the shower area there is a separate WC. The cottage is thoroughly renovated and everything is well maintained and nice. The patios will surely be favorites, partly one glazed at the entrance with sun deck in front and certainly the other at the back of the house. Here is large outdoor furniture, ball grill and absolutely wonderful views out over the beautiful small spring lake that lies below. This is probably the place for early breakfast and lovely balmy evenings with dinner and sunset. Around the house there are large open lawns for play and games. To the well-kept and family beach it is about 1.5 km on the other side of road E22. Small nice village roads lead down to lovely sandy beach, bathing jetties with bathing ladder, jumping tower, barbecue area and toilets. If you want to swim in the Baltic Sea, it is about 6 km and here too a nice and nice beach. It is 6 km to the town of Figeholm and here is a shop, restaurants, service and tourist info and to the city of Oskarshamn, about 13 km south and there are many events in summer, shopping centers, restaurants and a genuine city center. Around the area there are large forests, many small lakes, hiking trails and nice bike paths. Bicycles can be rented directly by the homeowner on site. Early mornings and evenings you can often see animals such as moose, deer, roe deer, etc. To see moose up close, Virum's moose park is only about 60 km away. Well worth a visit. If you want to do day trips, there is a lot to both see and do. You can visit the coastal town of Västervik (the pearl of the East Coast) with a lot of boat traffic, picturesque city center, many events, shopping, etc. Or take the boat from Oskarshamn to Sweden's second largest island Öland and then continue by car across the bridge, see the city of Kalmar and then home. The Swedish "glass kingdom" with several glassworks and ceramic production is very close. For the youngest, a visit to Astrid Lindgren's World in Vimmerby is probably at least 60 km away. Welcome to a fresh cottage built in 2019 in the nice, coastal cottage area of Adriansnäs in the middle between the towns of Västervik and Oskarshamn. Welcoming hall, open plan with family room and kitchen. State-of-the-art kitchen with all equipment such as dishwasher and kitchen island with bar stools for e.g. an early cup of coffee, large substantial dining table with plenty of space. The common room part has a cozy seating area and flat-screen TV. There is also a large glass area with access to the large balcony (approx. 30 sqm). Perfect place with outdoor furniture and barbecue for both sunny, lazy days and warm pleasant evenings with dinner. The house has three bedrooms, one slightly larger with a double bed and two slightly smaller with a bunk bed in each. WC/shower room with plenty of space, underfloor heating, washing machine and very tastefully decorated. At the front of the house there is a garden and on the other sides of the house smaller grass areas for play and games. About 400 m from the house there is a public playground with associated soccer field. The well-arranged sandy beach with sauna is about 1 km on small village roads. The beach is very child-friendly with a long shallow sandy beach, jetties, jumping tower, playground equipment, seating, outdoor gym and nice grassy areas. Here at the swimming area there is also a sauna that can be booked for the cottage area. It also includes a simple rowing boat which is about 1 km from the cottage. Bring your own life jackets. There are also 2 bicycles (for adults) belonging to the cottage. Please bring bicycles for the children. Please note that the cabin is not rented for more than 6 people and not for hunting or fishing. It is also important that guests bring their own sheets and duvet covers. Not allowed to charge electric cars. In the area there are many pleasant hiking trails and paths in wonderful nature close to the sea. Along the coast there are several small charming communities and villages. The cities of Oskarshamn and Västervik, both about 35-45 km away, are well worth a visit with both shopping and picturesque city centers. Notice, that there are no grocery stores near the cottage, so (if possible) shop in advance at least for supper and for breakfast the next day. Not too far to the "Glasriket" with several classic glassworks. It is about 80 km to Astrid Lindgren's World. Perhaps a must for the slightly younger ones. On the ground floor there is a large, lovely country kitchen that both symbolizes the modern, fresh and that old Småland. The dining area is comfortable and from this you can sit and look out over the road to the surroundings of the house. Adjacent there is also a dining room for setting up a nice dinner together, just as you did in Småland in the past when you had nice visitors. Down here there are also 2 living rooms, one with a comfortable seating area where you can sit down and watch TV or take a midday nap and the other with comfortable chairs where you can sit down with a glass of wine or a cup of tea and a good book in hand or with relaxing music in your ears. On the ground floor there is also a toilet with sink, as well as a sauna and a separate shower. Upstairs are the two bedrooms. One has a nice, big one double bed and in the second there are 4 good single beds placed. In the hall between the two bedrooms is there also a day bed if someone in the party feels like recuperating a bit in the middle of the day. About 2 km away is a fantastically beautiful lake and a very well-arranged small swimming area with both a sandy beach and jetty. In the forests around your house, there are plenty of mushrooms and berries. In addition, you have a very good chance of encountering the forest's king, the moose. Short excursions can, for example, take you to the alpine hill Isaberg (40 km), which is also worth visiting in summer. Longer day trips can take you to the big cities of Gothenburg, Borås and Jönköping as well as to Astrid Lindgren's World on the east coast. Here you can take the day as it comes, angling down in the lake or go hiking on the fields. When you enter the house you are met by a spacious hall and from there you have a bedroom on the left with a double sofa bed and an extra bed. The living room has TV, comfortable furniture and a beautiful wood burning stove from 19th century that gives a cozy atmosphere if any evening would feel a little bleak. Here you can sit down with a good book and really relax. Please note that there is no wifi in this cottage. From the living room you move on to the kitchen which has both induction hob, dishwasher and even a wood stove. and bedrooms. At the kitchen table you can go out on the large terrace and enjoy your breakfast there while looking out over the lake. The bedroom is bright and feels spacious, also here you have a view of the lake.The bathroom is bright and airy with toilet, shower and washing machine. The house has fishing rights in the lake and also in another lake that the owner can inform about. The lake below the house is not a direct swimming lake, but it is up to everyone if you want to swim there. Lake with good shallow bathing area is about 10 km away; Sandören, with jetty and sandy beach. In Häradsbäck 4km away there is a café with a restaurant that is well worth a visit. This delightful holiday home is set outside of the village of Odensvi on the coast of Småland. Idyllic and traditional, yet offering modern comforts, this is a great place for a family. The area offers a lot of fun and entertainment for families with small children. The house features a spacious entrance hall and two family rooms, both located on the bottom floor. One of the family rooms features a large, comfortable dining area, the other features a sofa and opens into the lovely conservatory. This is a wonderful place to dine or to just relax with a cup of tea. The well-equipped kitchen is modern and features a little kitchen table and a dish washer. The bathroom features a WC and a shower. Washing machine included. A winding staircase will take you up to the second floor with it's three large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a double bed. The second bedroom contains a single bed and leads through to the third bedroom with it's two single beds. The house features a fireplace and two wood burning stoves, wood is included in the rent. There is also a carport. Fruit trees and a large, beautiful lawn surround the house. It is set rather high and offers a lovely view of the open landscape. The nearest neighbour lives a kilometre away. The forest is right next to you, offering berry picking, mushrooming and animal sightings (elk, deer, fox etc). It's a quick three-kilometre drive to the public beach with it's shallow water, sandy beach, bathing dock and bathing ladder. The coast is about 22 kilometres away, should you feel like swimming in the sea. Småland is known for it's scenic nature with big forests and many lakes. Don't forget to visit the lovely town Västervik which is only 35 kilometres away. The children will really enjoy Astrid Lindgren's World, also circa 35 kilometres away. Katthult and Bullerbyn, well known from Astrid Lindgren's beloved children's books, are also close. Or why not take a daytrip to Mariannelund and find out how sweets were made in the olden days? There's a roofed terrace as well as a garden with outdoor furniture and a garden grill. On the bottom floor, there's a small kitchen with all of the necessary amenities, such as an electric cooker. There's also a wood-burning stove in the kitchen. The kitchen, dining room, and entrance hall are all open-plan. The living room features an open fireplace, which you are welcome to use, and there's also free wireless internet access. In the bathroom, you will find a WC and a washbasin. The bathroom can also be accessed from the outside of the house. The shower is in a separate building, 10 metres from the cottage. On the bottom floor, you will also find one bedroom with two beds. The upper floor has low ceilings (190 centimetres). Up here you will find three single beds. In the village, there's a dock where you'll find the boat that is included in the rent. Lake Åsnen is well known for it's excellent fishing possibilities. You can buy a fishing permit from the next-door neighbour. Bird watchers will be happy to know there's a variety of birds in the area, falcons, eagles, and osprey, for instance. Kalvsvik is four kilometres from the cottage and features a lovely bathing spot with bathing docks. You have access to four bicycles so why not take them to the nature reserve in Bjurkärr? Another beautiful place to visit is Huseby bruk, 15 kilometres away, with it's castle and it's ironworks museum. There's also an inn, a café, a nature reserve, and an observation tower.
