Here you can experience all the best of Småland. Deep enchanted forests, shimmering lakes and streams, blooming meadows and open fields. Little red cottages, winding roads and beautiful stone walls. Just a couple of kilometers away you also have lake Åsnen, which is a completely unique lake archipelago with over 1000 small islands. In this small, cozy cottage, you have an excellent starting point for exploring the area, but if you want to stay at home, you have everything you need. The cottage consists of a cozy living room with a fireplace, a dining room with a lovely view of the garden and a small but modern kitchen. In the dining room there is the third bed which functions as a day bed/sofa at other times. There is a bedroom with a double bed. In the cabin there is also a travel cot, so you could get 3 people plus a small child who can sleep in the travel cot. There is also a new and fresh bathroom. Washing machine is in the basement under the house, there is also the freezer (freezer compartment is in the fridge in the kitchen) The hot tub may only be used if there is no burning or watering ban. You have a lovely lush garden which is fenced, which can be a big advantage if you are traveling with pets. In the garden there is also the newly built sauna, where you can bathe and look out over the forest. There will also be an outdoor shower and hot tub/outdoor bathtub for 2 people. Outside the garden, the plot is bordered on one side by a country road where there is some traffic. If you would rather swim in the lake, you have both lake Åsnen and Hyllen within a radius of about 3 kilometers. There are lots of nice walking paths in the area to walk on, or cozy little roads to cycle on and discover the surrounding area. There are three bikes included in the rental. The rent also includes final cleaning. Tingsryd is about 9 km away and here is Tingsryd Resort, which has a lot of activities for the whole family. Such as a cozy swimming area, indoor adventure pool, spa, horse riding, fishing school, boat rental, mini golf. Växjö is about 40 km away and here you will find more restaurants, cafes and shopping. Towels are included when booking bed linen.

In the western part of Småland, beautifully situated with forest and the lake around the knot, you will find this cozy little cottage. Here you have the opportunity for lovely walks in the surroundings, or a short trip on the small lake that is just below the cabin with the boat that is included in the rent. Bathing is recommended by the owners at Flatenbadet 10 km away or Hästhultssjön 2.1 km away. The cottage has a cozy living room with dining area and a small kitchen. There is also a sofa bed for 2 people. The cabin also has two small bedrooms with 1 single bed in each room. There is a fresh and nice bathroom with a shower. The cottage shares the plot with the owners, whose house is about 60 meters away. Here there is plenty to do for the adventurous, while the surrounding lakes and forests provide fantastic opportunities for peaceful relaxation. For those who appreciate hiking and want to see a little more than just the beautiful nature around the cabin, you can get to Store Mosse Nature Reserve about 7 km away. Here there are many nice hiking trails and fantastic nature to see. In the summer months, those traveling with children can take the opportunity to visit High Chaparral, which is only 10km away. It's a wild west experience for the whole family. All in a genuine Wild West environment with bison oxen, train robberies, steamers, gold panning, cowboys, shows and theater and much, much more. If you want to go on an adventure, you will find Isaberg Mountain Resort 20 km away, with bike paths, toboggan run, hiking trails and much more. There is something for all tastes and levels and is well worth a visit, or several! In the winter with snow, Isaberg also has a ski slope, but whatever the season, there are plenty of things to do here. For those interested in golf, there is also Isaberg's golf club. The golf club has 2 18 hole golf courses, as well as a 6 hole short hole course which is a Pay & Play course.

Charming cottage from the 19th century in Halltorp (Kalmar municipality) with shared garden. The cottage has a beautiful bedroom with three beds where you have an open space up to the roof ridge. Open nicely furnished living room with dining table, comfortable chaise longue and sofa bed for two people. Kitchen of simpler standard, with bench stove, 3 plates and microwave. Bathroom of a simpler standard with wc, sink and shower. You have a large garden of 4000 square meters which is shared with the house owner, a nice family with children. There is outdoor furniture here, slightly hidden from view in front of the house. Leashed, child-friendly pets are welcome. Please note that smoking is not permitted in the cottage or in the garden. An unmanned shop is located very close to the cottage. If you want a bigger store, there are in Söderåkra and Vassmolösa. You have Halltorp's beautiful medieval church up close to view. You also have Stufvenäs Gästgifveri with fantastic food and a nice spa where you can enjoy just the day. It is only 5km to sea bathing in Ekenäs and 8km to a wonderful, shallow white sand beach called Fulvik. Popular Villa Famiglia offers taste experiences in a Mediterranean environment. Värnanäs is a manor house with extensive park facilities. Here is Engelska Parken with its lush greenery, nice walking paths, ponds and bridges. The Värnanäs archipelago nature reserve is an area of sea east of Halltorp and is considered one of the most important places in Sweden for harbor seals. If you're lucky, you can see them. In Germundslycke there is a well-visited farm shop. For those interested in nature, there is also the Stufvenäseken, which is Småland's second largest oak with a circumference of 9.7m. You have 30 km to Kalmar with its large cultural, shopping and restaurant selection. Here you have the astonishing Kalmar Castle, which is well worth a visit. The children usually appreciate Skälby Gård with its animals and playgrounds. Also, don't miss driving over the bridge to the "island of the sun and winds" Öland, which is a must-visit. Welcome to this absolutely incomparable location and a cabin in absolute top condition! The view that meets you once you turn down the small private road down to the cabin is breathtaking. Lake Hjälten spreads out in front of you, and a private jetty, hardened water line so you always have firm, clean ground under your feet when you step in or out of the water after a swim, a rowing boat at your disposal and neighbors at a comfortable distance - the here is an idyll just waiting to be discovered! You park the car and then take the finely cast concrete stairs up to the cabin and find a large wooden deck. Once there, you can just face the lake and soak up the peace. If you turn towards the cabin and step inside the door, you will find a hall where you can choose three different directions. If you take a right, you will come to a dining room where there is a round table and chairs, and if you continue forward, you will come to the living room. Here you have a lovely flood of light with large windows, all of which face the water. There is also a stove to light up on cold summer nights or perhaps in autumn. You will also find a large corner sofa and another dining group to settle down at, if you want to enjoy dinner here or why not set up a board game! The room is made for relaxed socializing. If you take the left instead, you will find a newly built bedroom with a bunk bed. Ceiling spotlights make the room bright and very inviting. You will also find two larger bedrooms which are also bright and nice, one with two single beds and the other with a double bed. From both of these rooms you have magnificent lake views. A newly renovated bathroom is also found in this part of the house. You can also enjoy a lake view from here. If you go straight into the hall inside the door, you will come to a fully equipped kitchen, also with a view of the lake. There is a large dining table and exit to another balcony on which there is also outdoor furniture. Hjältevad is just nearby with a restaurant and grocery store to make the stay easy, but it is perhaps the natural values around the cabin that make it truly a dream both in early spring, summer and autumn! You can get to Kalmar in 15 minutes. Here you will find many events and amusements during the summer and if you are interested in history, you can visit Kalmar Castle, Old Town with its winding cobbled streets that lead through Kalmar's medieval city center and the 300-year-old ship "Kronan". You can also take a trip to beautiful Öland, which has several attractions, including Öland's Zoo and all the fine sandy beaches there are. Bring bed linen and towels. If you travel with your bikes, it's a really cozy ride through the countryside down to the bathing area, which the owners recommend for a bike ride. Please note that it is not allowed to charge electric cars on the plot. The house has water from its own well. Therefore, be extra frugal with water consumption. The house has a large spacious kitchen and a large living room. There are a total of three bedrooms in the cottage with 2 single beds in each. If desired, there are also 2 extra beds (folding beds that can be used.) Two of the bedrooms are on the upper floor, which has a slightly lower ceiling height and slanted ceiling. This house is perfect for the big family, or maybe the family bringing mother or grandparents or maybe two families traveling together. It would also be perfect for the group that travels and wants to fish in Småland's lovely lakes. If you buy a fishing license in the nearby lake, you can fish in a number of other lakes in the nearby area as well. You can easily buy a fishing license online. There is also the possibility to rent a boat in the same lake, both per day and week, more information and contact information can be found in the guest folder upon arrival. The boat is available between about May 5th and September 30th, if you want to rent the boat after this date please contact us at the service office. There is also a walking trail in the area, so don't miss out on a walk and discover. The path leads to a cozy barbecue area, among other things. Traveling here in the summer and experiencing nature and the lake is lovely. The cabin is also an excellent starting point for those who might want to pick berries and mushrooms, or as previously mentioned want to fish, but also for those who travel to the area for hunting. In Påryd (17 km) there is a restaurant, pizzeria and shop. Here is the popular Lantcafé with fantastically good food and coffee. Another popular restaurant to visit is La Famiglia, in Vassmolösa (34 km) where you can enjoy Italian food in a lovely Mediterranean-inspired garden. Kosta Glasrike (41 km) is usually a nice day trip. Here you will find everything from Kosta glassworks to glass shops and a large outlet with clothes, interior design, shoes as well as hunting and fishing. Kosta also has several year-round restaurants with everything from home cooking to fine dining at the Kosta Art hotel. At Kosta Art hotel there is also an excellent spa area with pools and a relaxation area. Not far from Kosta, you can visit the Safari park with everything from bison, fallow deer, mouflon sheep and red deer to wild boar. Here you take the car through the park and get to experience the animals in their natural environment up close. You have 54 km to Kalmar with a large shopping and restaurant selection. Sights such as Kalmar Castle and the County Museum are usually worth a visit. For children, Skälby Gård with its animals and playgrounds is usually popular. Here you can relax among red houses and natural plot with large grassy areas. The house is only 35 km from the beautiful town of Västervik and 20 km from Loftahammar. It is a tasteful farm that is well preserved and you rent the whole house but the upper floor is not decorated.
